Our room had some maintenance and security problems. I told the front desk and I trust they will remedy them. (Door did not shut tight on its own, meaning your room was accessible to anyone with a slight push. Once aware, I made sure to check it but the maid didn’t, so when we returned our room had been accessible to anybody for hours. In addition, when we checked in, our ground floor room window was unlatched, another security problem. Inside the room, the bathroom door was very loud and difficult to shut and the fan sounded like a B-52 bomber flying overhead. While not a security problem, it did mean that midnight bathroom calls were known to all. The refrigerator was room temperature and required a lot of behind the unit tinkering to get it to drop a few degrees. Still too warm, though. But the front desk staff was friendly and allowed us to keep our important items cold.)

I cannot praise the staff enough. We had just left another hotel in the area, which was an absolute nightmare and switched over after midnight and a 10 hour car ride. We were exhausted and Ashton at the front desk was a lifesaver. The worm cookies and the water in the hallway kept us going. When we asked for a rollaway bed so that our college student could stay with us they were quick to assist us and were the ultimate of courtesy.
