Place was nice, have stayed there before for business. Thought it would make a great place for a weekend getaway. Looked forward to soaking in the hot tub after a day of shopping. When registering, we were informed of a problem with the pool and it was closed. I asked about the hot tub only to be told it had been closed since 2019. If we had known that, I don’t know that would have stayed there. It should have been stated on their website.

This hotel is quite old and needs an upgrade. Our room smelled like old socks. Also the pool wasn't open (no mention of this when booking) and the hot tub hasn't been operational in a long time apparently. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was pretty bad but the lady working there was delightful as was all the staff.

Facilities was clean staff was excellent only issue was the pool was closed due to repairs. We paid more than we would have at another facility because of the pool so it would be nice if they communicated that on their website cause we would have stayed else where had we known.

When we arrived we were asked to stay in a room with a dripping faucet then the next day loved to a room that was “cleaned” but had a sock on the floor. There were stains in the shower along with dust all over. In the halls the scent is almost nauseating. The hot tub, a huge selling point for me, was and has been broken for a while with no heads up prior to reserving. The breakfast was sub par, odd flavors when it came to the food. Positive was pet friendly and close to town.

I would like to be contacted. I had two rooms and each of the had the same each issue. There seem to be something nasty on the bottom of both bathtubs that I tried cleaning, but would not go away. Photos attached. I also tried calling the front desk several times and no one answered until I went downstairs and still was not helped.

Do not stay in room 120. Found a live brown recluse spider that came from underneath pillows. Bathroom sink was clogged had to get maintenance man to fix it! Bathroom was dirty! Blood stain on comforter. Never again will I stay in this Hampton Inn. Disgusting to say the least!

Please note that this hotel needs some renovations. I was told after the 2nd room change that all the tubs have rusted bottoms and have stickers that are peeling to over the rust. There also was major water damage on the walls and ceiling.

The front desk clerk (maybe her name was Jenny? Her friend who was hanging out in the lobby called to the back for her when I needed something) was friendly and helpful. Although we requested a handicap accessible room, we were placed in a standard room with a torn blind. When we asked for a change, she cheerfully gave us what we had requested. However, this room was covered in dust bunnies in the corners of the room. I sneezed throughout the night. The walk-in shower floor was stained by what I hope were tire marks from wheelchairs and/or walkers. It was black. Breakfast ended at 9:00, but by the time we got there, food was scarce. Overall, he place seemed dingy and in need of an update.

We were just traveling through with our small dog. We were given 1st floor rooms. The rooms smelled very musty, like they hadn't been used in a long time. Clean. Comfortable beds. Nice layout. Evening desk attendant was unfriendly. Breakfast was ok.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The hot breakfast was great each morning of our stay. And the breakfast staff kept everything well stocked. Great hotel. Will definitely stay at this Hampton for all of our future Dubois trips.

The location is convenient to the freeway. We found a local cafe within a couple miles recommended by the desk clerk. It was very good! The hotel didn't seem to have exhaust fans in the bathrooms and the HVAC couldn't be set to 'fan' to circulate air. So, the result was a sort of 'damp' feeling to the room. For us, it was just a one-night stop on a long trip, so it wasn't a deal breaker.

Not a great hotel--after three recent Hampton Inn stays (each stay at a different HI property), two of which were mediocre, I doubt that I will choose this chain frequently in the future. Pros: very comfortable beds, convenient rolling table and two chairs which came in handy for in-room dining. Cons: very worn bathtub, room door VERY hard to open or close (it seemed to fit too tightly in its jamb somehow, and when the deadbolt was also locked it took great force to get the deadbolt to release, much less to get the door itself to open--this is a safety issue and needs to be addressed ASAP), very slow-draining bathtub and sink, no exhaust fan in bathroom leading to it getting impossibly steamy and damp, irritating HVAC controls with no option for constant fan, only sugary cereals available at breakfast.

Overall the stay was very nice but I had two issues - 1. The WiFi was very difficult to connect to, it took multiple tries to get it to work 2. I brought my service dog and they forgot to have me sign the pet policy when I checked in (my dog was with me at the time) they then called me at 10;30 at night when I was in bed to come downstairs and sign it. The eventually allowed me to do it in the morning but it took a bit and I was pretty annoyed.

Was put into room 205 for two nights which has a huge condenser unit right in front of the window. Absolutely zero view. Asked for another room the next day and was given 205 which has a view of the back of part of the sign. Again. Extremely lousy view. For a rewards memeber and having stayed in hamptons for the last 9 nights while on the road, this was probably the least liked.

Property was clean and comfortable. But tv did not work! When I asked at the front desk, she said, yeah it doesn’t work in that room. I asked why we were put in a room that the tv didn’t work, she couldn’t give me an answer. I asked for a partial refund, and was told”Take it up with Expedia”. It was the most expensive hotel we have stayed but everyone was clueless.

I aaked for a wake up call and we were called wvery half hour for the whole night. We called thr fromt desk who said tgeyd take care of ut but they never did. They told us wed receive piints to make up for it hut never dud.

Check in is available at 3:00 room wasn't ready at 7:00 so I called back again the lady said I never called before that which was s LIE she was very rude then they said there was a room available my son gets there they tell him he doesn't have a reservation that he had to get his phone and prove to them that he had a reservation and he never got into a room until 11:30 at night we asked for compensation like check out late they said no we asked for a discount they said no and then the girl was just flat out rude will not recommend this place ever

Conveniently located outside of town. Stayed on our way to Penn State. Check in staff wasn’t very friendly, sharp tone and quick with answers to questions. I felt I was interrupting something more pressing. Manager was nice thought! Breakfast was great. Room was clean, no odor which is important to me.

There was only one person working the whole property and she was overwhelmed. The rooms were not completed and the machine to get the keys to work was not working. It took an hour just to get in our room.

We were in town for Groundhog Day and the hotel staff went above and beyond. The night before they set up a hearty and warm dinner. The morning of - at 3am! - they set out individual breakfast bags with a bottle of water since they knew many of the guests would be heading to Gobbler's Knob very early and would miss regular breakfast hours. We so appreciated the extra special hospitality that made our stay memorable.

Lots of food options. Pizza Hut is literally in the same lot. Sits right next to a huge mall. Only gave it 4 stars because Hilton has terrible ACs that shut off and leave the room stuffy at night. Other than that, place was good!

Pit stop on the way to NYC to pick up my son @ college. Perfectly located right off the highway with many food options nearby. Clean, spacious rooms & a friendly staff. A decent free breakfast & hot coffee in the early AM was a bonus. Definitely recommend!

Hotel was clean but they had terrible service. We were forced to use dirty towels because they said they had none or were in the dryer, could not bring us any because they did not have enough staff and we would need to come back to get them but they never contacted us to tell us when available. Had to go to desk and ask for coffee but told they only had a few and housekeeping kept them locked up. At breakfast they kept running out of food and it felt like they were rationing it. The hot tub was broke all weekend and the pool was cold. Cleaners grabbed garbage, towels but did not replace towels or coffee and did not make the beds. This was not the caliber of what we expect from a Hampton Inn. This was a terribly run Hampton. We had two rooms at almost $200 each per night. When I tried to complain, I was told no manager available and the young girl at the desk could not even apologize. What a mess!!

The entire staff were just great. Especially the lady at the breakfast nook, super lady, went out of her way to assist us. Deserves a pay raise or award, you are lucky to have her working for you.

Check in was great, Lisa was super friendly. The room was as advertised and comfortable. The hotel checks on you after you check in to make sure you have everything you need. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The cons, the hot tub was closed and the pool water was very cold. The pool was clean though and they had plenty of clean towels which is appreciated. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for breakfast. We stayed two nights and barely got any food. Penn State had a home playoff game which meant any hotel within an hour was booked up. All of the food was gone early the first day and pretty much the same the next day. Kind of a downer we had to go to McDonald's for breakfast when it's part of the deal. The ONE lady they had on for breakfast worked her tail off but couldn't keep up. Kudos for her for trying but shame on management for not stepping in. I would understand if you sold out to professional eaters but that didn't seem to be the case .

The hotel was clean & staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good. It took forever to get some lukewarm water in the shower & the beds are super firm. Neither of those are a preference for me. But, overall it was a decent place to stop over.
