My husband and I decided to take an impromptu overnight trip with our two dogs, and needed a pet friendly motel in the Delaware Water Gap area. We were very pleased with our selection of the Super 8 Wyndham in E. Stroudsburg, Pa. You would never guess that the room was pet friendly, as it was very clean, and it was conveniently located at the back entrance of the building, which led right out to the pet potty area. Our girls gave the room two paws up. They do charge a fee if you bring your dog, but it is pretty reasonable compared to other places. Coffee and some light breakfast items (muffins, yogurt) were included with our stay; the coffee was very good! There was also a microwave and small refrigerator with a freezer in the room. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area with our dogs.

the rooms of this hotel stink! There is no wifi in the room, the breakfast they show in the photos doesn't even correspond to reality and it's the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Last thing . Suppose they change the sheets every Wednesday. They never changed it. Stay away from this hotel. It is better to pay $20 more per day and stay somewhere that means what they say on the site reflects ACTUAL REALITY ! More luck with another hotel!

Construction around the place makes getting in a little rough right now but everything else was wonderful. Was pleasantly surprised by this budget motel gem! Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and check in/out was easy!

Overall the visit was fine. However, because there are other options in the area, I will probably not stay there in the future. The carpet in the room needs replaced. It is very old and "wrinkled." The breakfast was very light. It wasn't worth partaking of. We went somewhere else to purchase breakfast. No creamers were available for the coffee. Being 75 years of age with a heart condition, we were place on the third floor (their top floor) with no elevator and not help with talking bags to the room. The staff was friendly.

Decently clean, beds comfortable, but the Wifi was intermittant AT BEST and Non-Existing 98% of the time. Key card to first room never worked, even after replacements were supplied. After multiple complaints about key cards and Wifi, Front desk asked if we wanted to change our room to another. At least these keys worked, but wifi was still 98% absent. Road Construction at entrance made finding them very difficult.

Hotel is under renovation. I had a problem at check-in where they didn’t give me a main level floor as requested, and as I even called to confirm. I had to take a 2nd floor. There is no elevator at this property, at first management was being difficult, but then offered me a pet friendly room on the first floor, which was horrible so I ended up on the second floor. Our room was very clean. It had just been renovated however not redecorated -it seems they used the old furniture, rusty lamps but brand new flooring etc. The breakfast was bare bones, coffee and juice machine, individual wrapped mini muffins, some yogurt, granola bars, and cereal. We were there for two nights. It served its purpose for the price, it was an event weekend, so not many options of places to stay but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Rude staff during check-in, noisy renovation crew just outside our windows till 8 pm, poor noise and smell insulation, could smell everyone’s dinner due to large gaps under the room doors, uncomfortable beds, dirty covers on the beds, stains on walls and bathroom floor. Would not recommend.

The carpet was bumpy and a bit dirty. When I walked around in my bare feet, and then stepped into the shower, the shower floor was black from the dirt I picked up on my feet from the carpet in the room. The carpet was also damp.

Staff is really nice. Hotel is extremely humid. Everything in my room with exposed metal on it had rust. My shower didn’t drain well and neither did my friends down the hall so assumed it was the whole floor. Neighbors above me brought their own stereo and the bass was crazy. Apparently nothing could be done by staff because they wouldn’t answer their door or phone. Was woken up by some dope trying to get in my room over and over at 4am. Renovations show really low quality work and whoever is doing it stores everything by the front door of the hotel. My toilet rocked back and forth against the floor. The bed has a massive divot. If you change the AC to heat that will set off the smoke alarm.

There was no way to turn off the bathroom light. The light switch did not work at all, so the light had to stay on all day and night. The shower curtain rod was broken, and water got onto the bathroom floor. The dresser drawers were damaged, and the nightstand was completely missing the drawer. The tv was resting on the cable box, because one set of legs was missing. The mattress was so soft, we sunk to the middle of the bed. Very disappointed.

Staff was very friendly and professional. For an affordable hotel, you can't ask for better! I had to leave early and I was even able to get a refund for the day that I didn't use. It is a business, but it is also a friendly business and client loyalty and care appears to be top of the agenda than just profits. Thanks to Bonnie too, the manager. Excellent staff.

The staff is amazing. The room that I stayed in was just renovated and looks great…the new beds are perfect. Work is still on going and includes the parking lot, which was patched, resealed and striped during my stay. I wish them much success!!

The hotel stay was okay. Finding the place in the dark was tricky. There is crazy construction just off the I-80 exit. I needed to turn left on Greentree, but was confused by construction signs, and blinded by oncoming headlights. Drove into a cemetery by mistake, then had to turn around and go back. Once on Greentree, there is a Super 8 sign that is hidden by a large tree.

Don’t get me wrong the facility itself is decent. The surrounding area is a bit dark and sketchy. Road construction leading in makes access a bit intimidating but that’s no reflection on the hotel. Very limited food options in the immediate area

We stayed here for 1 night passing through PA. Alicia at the front desk is so helpful and accommodating. Place was very quiet and the construction around it makes it a little confusing to find but otherwise we had no issues and would recommend.

It was alright for the price, but there was no "Free Breakfast" as advertised. It was what they called a "Light Start" which consisted of coffee, juice and some prepackaged muffins and granola bars, that's it! Didn't even have milk to make a tea. The room was alright but the carpet felt a little dirty, but the AC worked well and again for the price was ok for a few nights.

The rooms, bathroom are clean. Beds, pillows are comfortable. It’s clean however the rooms could use some paint, new carpet. Breakfast advertised as limited light and that is correct: packaged muffins in a variety of flavors, granola bars, coffee, tea, orange and apple juice and water. It’s good and works for a quick bite to eat. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The price is right and it was a comfortable three nights. There’s been major road construction going on in the area of the hotel for quite some time making it a little tricky to navigate but it’s doable. I’d stay there again.

An excellent stay. The room was clean, staff was fantastic. They served a light breakfast which consisted of granola bars, muffins, fruit cups, tea, coffee, apple juice, and orange juice. It was extremely quiet and I will be coming back.

Location to concert was excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpfull and happy. Downside was breakfast. Juice, coffee and mini muffins. Toast with peanut butter and jelly would have been easy and greatly appreciated.

Very nice people running the place. But our room wasn't vacuumed and covered with crumbs all over the floor. The manager gave us another room which was nice. The hairdryer was broken, and they gave me another one at the front desk. It also turned out to be broken, a little frustrating. Basic breakfast with cereal and yogurt. Older place but I guess you get what you pay for, and it was a low price!
