Hampton Inn & Suites Hershey

The one elevator closest to our room on 3 floor did not work properly the 4 days we were there, it would go up, but then would not open back up on 3rd floor to go down. It was a really long way around to the other elevator. There was no air circulation in the hallway and made it hard to breath with the weather being so hot and humid (I understand you can't control the weather). The carpet in hall on 3rd floor was very much in need of a sweeper the entire time. Housekeeping staff spent more time on their phones than actual cleaning. Should have taken a picture of the one female on her phone, sitting on the floor beside her cart Sunday morning. Room was in need of some love, stains on the wall. Front desk staff were friendly. Probably will pick another location next time

There is no hot tub although the pictures show one and the pillows are too soft.

This is a very nice property overall and we would consider staying here again except for a couple of inconveniences not shared by other hotels in the area. The parking is horrible. Whoever designed this hotel decided it was more important to have a flashy facade directly on the roadway than it was to offer guests convenient parking. As a result, the parking is almost entirely in the back of the building and there are no accessible rear entrances. We always bring a Roku stick on trips, figuring that most hotels (even recently renovated ones) have rarely installed smart TVs. Our room had a very nice Samsung TV with multiple HDMI ports and USB power available. Unfortunately, the remote we were provided was one of the easily sanitized hotel variety with very limited controls, leaving us no way to change the TV input (no buttons on the set, either), so we were stuck with a rather limited DirecTV selection of channels (their package doesn't even offer the Golf Channel, which is one of our go-tos for having on in the background). The bathroom was separated into a sink area and a toilet/tub room. Plenty of space at the sink as well as in the toilet/tub room, but the tub/shower was very narrow. Lots of wasted square footage there that could easily accommodate a much more comfortable shower with minimal changes. On the positive side, the room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff was very friendly, and breakfast was good. Would consider staying here again if necessary.

We rented a block of rooms for a family getaway. We wanted a place with a pool as well as a hot tub. Pictures online showed a hot tub. Upon check in we found out there wasnt one. The adults of the group were disappointed. Other then that the breakfast was great and the place was accommodating.

We enjoyed the pool, just wished it was warmer in the pool room.

Where to start? Disgusting. Stained rugs that look like a sick pet used the hallway as a bathroom. Something on the walls in the hallway that had been there a while. 3 tries to get a key card that worked. Room door that didn't close/lock behind you. No pool towels. Green foamy water in the pool. Pool hours incorrect on the info card provided at check-in. No hot tub as pictured in the listing. It's been filled in and is now a concrete patio surrounding the pool. Bathtub with a streaky black film on the bottom. Electrical outlet not secured into the wall. Originally booked for 2 nights. Skin crawling but stayed only the 1 night since we had driven 8 hours to get there and were still more than 7 hours from home. Advised the front desk we would not be staying the 2nd night. Was told no refund since we had booked/paid through a 3rd Party rather than direct with Hilton. Wouldn't even attempt the included breakfast since we had no confidence in the sanitary state of the kitchen area based on what was going on in public view. Longtime Hilton Honors member that selects this chain based on the included breakfast, cleanliness, and condition of the properties. For years stayed at locations close to dog show events, and they were always spotless even with lots of animals and professional handlers staying at these locations. This one is completely the opposite of every other stay we have experienced. Almost forgot the elevator grinding every time it closed.

The staff is amazing! Super friendly and accommodating! The common areas are nice and well kept. The rooms are a little older and bathrooms could use some updating. Would definitely stay here again. Pool and gym are in great condition and lots of options in the gym including a peloton!

Need to fix that elevator door before it fails. Operating it like that is going to reduce its time overall. No hairdryer in a hotel is pretty unheard of these days. Parking very limited. Otherwise the place is great. Would stay again on ground floor.

Our one night stay almost didn’t happen! We arrived at 2am and couldn’t find the entrance! The hotel is being renovated and the main entrance was not accessible. No signage. Drove around the property twice! Finally was able to walk up to what used to be the entrance. Doors were all locked. After pounding on the door for a few minutes finally got the attention of the attendant. Stay was fine but better arrangements need to be made while undergoing renovations.

Found bug on bed comforter and bathtub was dirty

We were in town for a wedding and luckily we could check in early. Unfortunately, the room was not clean. We had garbage on the floor and empty bottles along the sides of the beds. There was black mold in the shower/tub and also on the tissue holder, soap dish and other various places. Their was black hair all over the shower. One of our beds was not clean. The comforter had blood and foundation make up on it. The room carpets were disgusting . They were those carpet tiles and were coming up in spots so the floor was sticky and you could see subfloor. My sons brand new white sox were brown after a few hours of walking inside the room. We paid over $300/night to stay here. Breakfast was average. The pool was ok but smelled strongly of chlorine. My children didn't swim long. Definitely not worth the money I spent staying here for two nights! Will NOT be staying here again!

The bathroom in our room was moldy, did not have a fan and the room was super musty and damp feeling. The lobby was updated and spacious. Staff was pleasant

The breakfast was very standard but the rooms were not up to par. We changed rooms and both rooms had mold around the bath tubs and hair in the room and on the towels.

Missing bath tissue. The test flush almost resulted in a backflow leak/mess when we arrived. Only towels provided for one person. The room/bathroom was actually dirty with hair and stains in the bathroom floor/tub/toilet/rug. Rug was dirty and molded. There was garbage lying around in various areas of the suite as only the bed was made. We witnessed several dead bugs inside of the suite. The suite/room was not ready and my family was unpleased about it. My stay ended up being an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience with this representation of a Hilton owned property.

We’ve stayed at many Hotels and this was by far the filthiest place I have ever stayed! The room had someone else’s popcorn on the floor when we checked in, there was other trash on the floor as well. The bath towels had mold On them, the shower was covered in pink mold In the corners, floor, shower head. The toilet had urine on the base of it. The couch and bedding was dirty. The carpet needs to be replaced. Overall the hotel itself if rundown and needs a complete overhaul. The staff, specifically Brandon was very welcoming and helpful! He was great! The breakfast workers were on top of things on day 2 with replenishing items. Day 1, not so much. The filth of this property made me want To vomit honestly.

Room was dirty

We were coming into town for a wedding and we were able to check into our room early, which was a blessing but our room was not cleaned well, or perhaps at all. One of our beds had blood on the comforter and foundation make up all over the top where someone must have snuggled with it. The shower/tub had black mold in the corners, inside the tissue box (which we only discovered because we ran out of tissues and removed them from the white container. There was hair all over the shower. We found garbage and empty bottles along the edges of the beds. I paid $300/night, we stayed for two nights. I will not be staying here again.

Unfortunately, we went to Hersheypark with our family and did not arrive to the hotel until around midnight. We had spent the day in the park so my toddler and 7 yr old were exhausted or we would have asked for another room, after spending 14 hours in the park we were really looking forward to a hot shower and comfortable bed but this hotel was extremely disappointing for a Hilton Brand. There was pink mold throughout the bathroom, the beds felt like you were sleeping on bumpy rocks. There was visible pink mold all over the showerhead, shampoo, body wash and conditioner holders. The carpets were not vacuumed well, the towels smelled like mildew. Just an overall horrible place to stay. It literally only take a few minutes to spray the mold with bleach to get rid of the mold on all surfaces. It was very obvious that they only oick up and straighten the rooms, not clean them.

We got into the room and their was a plate with food still on it underneath the chair, and a literal dead cockroach near the chest

Average place to stay that is very convenient if you plan on going to Hershey Park. It was a bit too noisy for me.

It was ok. The rooms were clean but in need of an update and the beds were pretty hard. It cost more than slightly further options and since we drove, I wish we paid less and just stayed a little further from the park. Didn’t feel there was a huge benefit to being close.

The hotel was great location to the park! We had a wonderful stay. The room was large and had lots of space. Loved the full kitchen. Also, the breakfast was plentiful. Has 3 waffle makers! My kids loved that. Lots of juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Stayed on the 3rd floor. nice and quiet.

The staff at this property were AMAZING. Ben at the front desk was very courteous and accommodating. The hotel was clean and the housekeeping staff were also very thorough. My biggest critique is that the hotel is very very dated and the beds very uncomfortable. Because of the age of the hotel/rooms, everything appears dirty but really just age. I'd stay here again for the staff, but not sure I'm happy paying as much as I did for an uncomfortable bed and a dirty looking room.

Large room was perfect for the family. Breakfast was perfect and the entire property was clean and welcoming.

Check in and check out took about one minute. King suite was great for our family of 5. A little outdated but clean. Great distance to parks.

Spacious room and friendly staff.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Hershey. We like the suites with the full-size fridge and mini kitchen. It’s our goto hotel when we visit family in Hershey. It has a well stocked breakfast to start your day!

Rooms are loud. You could hear everything around you.

Initial check in was easy and the front desk lady was extremely polite. Upon checking out was a different story. The lady that checked us out 9/8/25 9:00 am was rude and generally unpleasant. Because of her rudeness alone I will never be booking at this specific Hampton ever again. its sad because everyone else working there was really professional and polite.

The staff and manager were so friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect for the park. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and the breakfast was clutch. Really happy we found this hotel - will definitely return!

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. Loved the welcoming breakfast and the convenient location close to town.

The laziest housekeeping staff. Never changed our sheets or towels during our 3 day stay. When asked to do so, they left 2 towels on our table and went home for the day. They never took away the dirty towels on the floor nor changed the sheets. They didn’t even make the beds. Pretty sad that management hasn’t reached out after 2 weeks.

Had an issue with the room upon arrival. Brandon helped us put immediately, during our stay received text to make sure our stay was good.

One of the main reasons I booked the hotel was so that i could spend a morning sleeping without needing to run around after a dog and toddler. The fire alarm went off twice the morning of our stay. When I tried to call down to the front desk to see if we needed to leave the building, I discovered that the button on my room phone that connected me to the front desk did not work. This meant that I was not able to sleep and relax but had to go down to the lobby both times. My bedding had a stain on it and I found a hair in my bed when I first pulled the sheets back. After going down to the lobby the second time that morning our room key would not work. When I went to the desk they asked what room I was in and instantly rescanned the key. They didn't ask me for any sort of identification or even a name the room was under. I found this to be a very unsafe practice. My daughter and I left shortly after. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Location is probably the biggest plus for this property. A brew pub is right across the street and the Hershey Museum is close enough to walk if you like (one mile).The whole property is well kept. The pool was great. Even the food was good. The only thing I noticed was the air in the upper floor in our wing was a little stale.

On a holiday weekend there wasn't enough staff to keep up with breakfast. We actually were not happy and dined somewhere else. I picked this hotel due to having breakfast.

Really impressive hotel. Stayed a week for business. The room was very large and comfortable. Had many outlets and plugs for all modern phones and computers. Room was clean. Overall a very good stay. Customer service was very pleasant. Great front desk staff. Breakfast was ok but not amazing if I need to be picky about anything.

The breakfast has great variety of choices. We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast is great and staff is so kind. Rooms are spacious! Very convenient to Hersheypark and area attractions. Hershey Pantry and Rotunda Brew Pub are walkable restaurants that are delicious!

Excellent stay for kids. Good hot breakfast with sausage patties, country fried potatoes and omelettes; dry cereals; assortment of breads; waffle makers; yogurt cups- something for everyone. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Decent sized pool for kids and fitness center for adults. Overall perfect for a Hersheypark family getaway- less than 10 mins away from park. Definitely a repeat stay in the near future.
