Had a nice relaxing stay. Clean rooms, welcoming staff. Easy parking. Love tea availability of coffee station 24 hrs. Much better than an old kuerig machine in a room. Liked the room layout and modern/practical furnishings.

Property was nice. Only issues for us during our stay were that there is no outdoor seating at all and we had to buy our own milk to use with the coffee since all that was offered were the tiny 1/2 and 1/2 creamer cups. Other than that it’s a very nice place to stay as are other Tru locations we’ve stayed at.

The highlight of the hotel was breakfast! The automated pancake maker which might I note made awesome mini pancakes was the highlight of my kids day. Gym was great, room was comfortable and clean. We would certainly stay again in the future!

Staff were exceptional and attentive to our concerns. They were always accommodating, friendly and welcoming to us. Considering we had a group of 29 mainly children, the pool was small but overall, my group had a great time. I love the fact that tea and coffee was available 24/7, there was a slight variety in breakfast each morning, they had hot options, it went till 10am, and the lounge area was comfortable and fun for children as well. Definitely a family friendly hotel. The hotel was close to everywhere we needed to go and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again!

Room clean and comfortable. Modern style fixtures and decor not very welcoming, but functional. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was a big plus, every day. No shuttle to Hersheypark, though. If they had one, it would get a LOT of use. Most everyone staying there was going to the park.

Very busy with kids sports teams. Hotel only has two elevators, and one was not working - very inconvenient. Hotel should not pit kids under 12 on top floor, leave that to adults. Kids were out of control late at night, running the halls. Have hotel security when booking very large groups.

The hotel is in a great location, about 1 mile from Hersheypark & close to the outlets & restaurants. The lobby sells a good selection of snacks, candy, drinks, & even alcohol. Our free breakfast was very good. Overall, the hotel was very clean. There’s a small pool & small gym. Only negative that we all didn’t like — the soap dispenser! Unsanitary bc you have to squeeze the bottle several times for soap to come out. Didn’t bother using the lotion bc it’s the same way.

We had an excellent stay for the short time there, but unfortunately the first night we experienced uncleaned sheets in our bedroom. The front desk was able to help provide new sheets however only offered to provide us points rather than a complimentary night. Chatting with customer service regarding the situation was not helpful as well. All in all, I will not be staying at this Tru by Hilton location again.

We enjoyed our stay. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The bed was fairly comfortable. The room was clean, except the floor. The floor had fingernails and fuzzies close to the bed on the floor. It seemed like the main part of the floor was cleaned, but it just wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. I always where flip flops around hotel rooms anyway. Breakfast was good. They had cool pancake making machines. Overall, I would stay there again.

This is a nice hotel, convenient and close to Hershey Park and multiple restaurants. It is very popular among families. I did find my room to be clean and nice amenities, I thought the common spaces were not that clean. Due to the high # of families, during the breakfast time you can see the trash cans overfilling and even in lates falling off of them. I also thought the public bathroom needs to be maintain better. A lot of families equate areas get dirty faster, so having an extra shift to clean the bathroom will give a better appearance to the hotel. As I said, the hotel overall was a great stay and I will definitely recommended but I do think those changes will help elevate the experience.

We had a great stay at Tru. Very close to Hersheypark, so the location is convenient. The room was very clean. We stayed for 2 nights and I wasn’t expecting the room to be cleaned after the first night, but it was, which was awesome. What really stood out though was the staff. From check-in to housekeeping to just passing staff in the hallway, everyone was incredibly professional and friendly. I haven’t experienced that level of customer service outside of Disney, so that was great. My only knock on it would be that the room was a little tight with the furniture. I had a room with two queen beds and found myself knocking into the corners of the furniture quite a few times. The one bed was pretty close to the wall, which made it a bit difficult to get into and out of. It was fine for us, but certainly not roomy. Still, I’d absolutely stay again.

The rooms were super small but the biggest issue was the wifi connectivity in the rooms. Was unable to connect consistently and was working off poor 5g the whole time. I am currently staying at the same hotel as I booked two separate stays at this hotel before visiting. I am having the exact same issue. I am traveling back out after thanksgiving again and will be staying in a hilton, but will find a different location as the wifi has been unacceptable.

I liked the cleanness and convenience of location of the hotel. It was within 10 mins from the park and downtown restaurants. The price of stay was comparable to Marriott Courtyard, which has better breakfast. The room was for minimalists, no closets just hooks and exposed bars to hang clothes, so the room can feel chaotic quick once you unpack with a family. Also, the keys never was able to open the backdoor entrance. They did not accommodate the late checkout but the staffs were friendly overall.

I was there while visiting Hershey Park with my son. I checked in and when I returned to my room to log on my computer, I had no access, It indicated that I was not a guest. I tried to call the front desk and was hung up on three times because he said he was dealing with a situation. I could not communicate with my clients In the morning the people at the front desk gave me a new password that worked only for so long as I worked out. Once I returned to my room, I had no internet. That is a problem when trying to wrap up business around my trip to the park.

Corey the GM is an exceptional employee. He was so helpful with us when we asked about secured parking and assured not to be concerned that the area is safe. When I called back to let the hotel know we would be arriving late. He remembered our earlier call and asked us how are drive was going and that they'd be waiting for us. Such service and attention to detail is uncommon.

The desk staff were very helpful holding our luggage for us for free after we checked out so we could go back to Hershey park again without leaving our baggage in a very hot car all day. We came back and picked up our things in the evening before we left.

Lady at the desk was rude and sarcastic. Her name was Autumn. Actually only one staff was friendly and that was a tall thin man that was a cleaner. We are Diamond members and room was across from the pool, backed the elevator, and on first floor.

Thought the hotel was brand new . Room looked crisp and clean . Everything was modern and updated. The lobby had games to play and the staff was very friendly when I interacted. The hotel was walking distance to downtown Hershey PA. The hotel was in a unique setting , literally surrounded by small one family homes felt so friendly and inviting. Not industrial at all . There was plenty of parking that was well lit . Overall excellent hotel

Everything was great. The only issue I had was the keys not functioning properly with the outside doors a fair amount. Otherwise, staff was friendly and knowledgeable; location was walkable and had a lot of dining and shopping options; area was private and quiet.

Friendly, helpful staff. Everything was clean and comfortable. Just be aware that it is not walkable to Hershey Park Giant Stadium. Although you can see Hershey Park from the Hotel unless you want to walk about 46 minutes one way you will still need to drive. Other than that - great place to stay - would stay here again.

Nice modern property. Everything seemed new and clean. We loved that it was so convenient to get to Hershey park. Only drawback was the breakfast was very chaotic in the morning. I guess we should expect that though for a hotel next to an amusement park!
