Pictures lie. Pool hasn’t been open in years. Gym is terrible.

Air conditioner was really loud, no ice in ice machine, key card at the closest exterior door didn’t work.

It was a halfway point in our destination. Located in rural Appalachia. Older buildin. Rooms clean but could use updating. Fitness center closed. Breakfast was adequate and stocked well. Pretty basic.

Nice room- horrible parking lot and construction

When we checked in, we were told to inspect the room to ensure it was ready as they already had complaints earlier that day about house keeping not cleaning the rooms and we can be moved if that was the case. Our first morning there between 8 and 9am, the housekeeper barged into the room without knocking while we were still in bed. Worst continental breakfast I've had in a long time. Had what to be considered bare minimum to qualify. Only 2 types of cereal with only 1 option for milk. Frozen breakfast burritos (only meat lovers), yogurt(only 2 flavors), and muffins all obviously purchased from the local Walmart. The best part was the waffle maker was clean and the waffles were good. Also massive potholes throughout the whole property. Would be 1 star if it wasn't for the great night shift front desk staff. He bumped it up to 2 stars.

It was giod as usual. We stay for ball tournaments, mutiple times each summer. It would be great if pool was functioning and full for a trip.

Pool was closed, dirty water and overgrown grass and weeds through out property, bedding was disgustingly dirty, stained and floors were sticky and not very clean.

Back parking lot was very dark. I was uncomfortable entering by myself.

When we arrived I was planning to cancel as the outside ia very old and franky, ghetto looking. I was pleasantly surprised with how kind the staff was, the rooms were updated and very clean. The pool was actually very clean and well maintained. Overall, I would stay here again. Don't the let outside scare you away, it was truly decent for the price point.

Stayed for university move in. Unfortunately no elevator and second floor room was not easy to carry luggage It smells awful with old carpets everywhere

First, I didn't take much stick e in reviews typically. I mostly read the middle of the road reviews and go from there. The young lady who checked us in was nothing but nice and did switch our room. This has nothing to do with her. This is about the hotel. I was disgusted to stay here. I have stayed at multiple hotels and have never had this issue. It was dirty, run down and extremely sketchy. Our first room with the king size bed had god knows what under the mattress. We were given a new room, but were still charged the king size room price. It was not as dirty and at least there was nothing under our mattress. I didn't shower because I was afraid to touch anything. My husband took multiple pictures...I question whether the toilet and floor around it was even cleaned. This hotel was the site the hosted the students who were performing at PMEA at United High School. Had our daughter not been there, we would have left, but we were worried about leaving her there. This place is a disgrace to Choice Hotels and should be condemned. The hallways didn't look vacuumed. This was not normal uncleanliness. I would never recommend this hotel and now I would think twice about staying at any Quality Hotels. The app will not let me upload the picture of what was between our mattress. Do yourself a favor and never stay here.

Bed bugs

After settling into the room for the evening we found a bedbug, along with evidence that the room had not been cleaned at all well. As there were no other hotels rooms available within 20 miles (graduation weekend) and it was nearly 1 am, we had to stay, and the helpful staff was able to find us another room. Although we could find no evidence of bedbugs in the second room, it too was not clean and the HVAC unit was very loud (as the first one had been also). Not much sleep was had. Breakfast the next morning was very limited, no eggs/bacon/sausage/bisquits/gravy, etc, although the waffle maker was fine. We will not be staying there again.

This was a one night stay and I just needed a place to lay my head. The bathroom was not clean. The tub and toilet looked like they were overlooked. The floors were dirty when I walked in bedsheets and bed were clean and since it was for one night, not a big deal with the bathroom. I checked in late, around 1:30 AM the gentleman that helped me it’s very friendly and cordial.

Floor was filthy in the room. Drawers in the furniture were full of old fast food.

Woke to 3 small roaches in the bathroom sink, half dead. Bathroom toilet had to be flushed multiple times, exhaust fan didn’t work, shower knob when pulled only allowed small amount of water in showerhead, only could rinse off, not enough to wash hair. Let staff know of issues, mentioned that roaches were half dead, saying i assumed they knew of the issue and were treating them, he said yes. Didn't stay for free breakfast as my room was on the 2nd floor, i imagine there is quite few more on the first. Property under construction, worn down. Bagged my luggage and treated it, so not to bring anything in my home.

Not clean property

The room wasnt clean. There was debris on the floor. It smelled of marijuana. The breakfast was not very good either and rhe microwave in the dining area was disgusting. The gentlemen who checked us in were very kind. No room service the time we were there.

First room we were put in smelled weirdly like urine. The woman at the front desk apologized and put us in another room that smelled very musty and like an abandoned building. It was clear there had been some water damage that had not properly been taken care of. It is partially on us that we did not speak up again, but we were exhausted and didnt have the energy. That being said being put in two rooms that had separate bad odors is not acceptable for a hotel.

Outdated and dull bathroom. Toilet barely functional

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the AC/Heat unit kicked in very loudly startling me out of sleep each time I dozed off.

Air conditioning did not work that well, had it on high for 6 hours and the room is still hot. Hallway was also extremely hot. Room was very clean and the bed is comfortable but it was hot

The plumbing was bad tub and toilet did not train properly. Bedsheets had hair on them.

Overall the stay was nice, the hot tub in the room was excellent! The refrigerator didn’t work so we had our food go bad. Heating in the room didn’t work, we had our own blankets to keep warm.

Beds were too hard

Bathtub sank toward the center.

The air conditioning just was very loud and set low temp room was still warm.

Do not recommend, first room was dirty and smelly, the AC unit made so much noise you could hear it in the hallway. The second room was better but the sheets were still plasticky and the sink leaked.

Matthew went out of his way to make sure our group had everything we needed.

Staff was good, quick.

Nice hotel. I went to front to request a couple plates and forks. Jasmine was coming in hall and seen me ask if she could help. I told her what I needed and was going to get it I had ice bucket and bless her she got ns ice also!! Jasmine is a JEM!! She is a true asset to the hotel!! Thank you Jasmine!❤️

The front desk employee was very nice and checked us in immediately. Told us how to get to our room. Explained what time breakfast was. Overall a smooth check in process

Thanks to Matthew at the desk—extremely polite and helpful. Toilet needed repair (running) but I just kept the door closed—I was only staying two nights.

The chair in our room was covered in sand and our floor had huge piles of dust. Our room was not vacuumed prior to our stay. The room across from us had 3 women in lingerie staying with 2 men. They argued up and down the hall from 11pm until almost 4am. Three rooms asked them to quiet down, but were cursed out. We called the manager three times and were told at 330 am that we could change rooms. We didn’t sleep. Everyone on our floor was up and irritated. Management was not helpful. Do not stay here. The worst hotel experience ever.

Check-in staff was very friendly. General Manage was extremely accommodating. Changed my room when at the last minute I had an extra family member show up. Both rooms were fine, but the first was a bit small for 4 people. He changed us to a larger room with 2 queens, at only a little more of a charge. He also gave me a credit on the first room. Very helpful during a busy time for his hotel. It was much appreciated. Would stay here again next time we are in Indiana, PA.

very rood staff

The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms and the hallways were clean and seemed recently redone. The parking lot was pitted, at the back of the hotel was not well lit. The inn itself is in a quiet area but close to the main shopping district. I would stay there again.

The hotel was in close proximoty to IUP and was a good price. The breakfast was definitely lacking and the coffee was horrible. The room was clen but just average overall.

Comfortable stay for a weary traveler close enough to the small town to venture out and enjoy a meal and drink.

We needed a hotel close to IUP. It was an older hotel, but clean and affordable. The front desk staff was super friendly. It was a very easy and quick check in. We really enjoyed live music at the Levity Brewery half a mile up the road.

It was very "o.k." - Staff was great, and I do like the location.

The property is convenient to Indiana downtown. I needed one night stay while in town. Purpose served. The property is worn since it has been here for a while. The trade off is the price. It’s a good price for a safe, quiet stay.

Room was clean. Could use some updating. Parking lot very dark. Breakfast was awful. Not much selection on the hot side. A couple of sausage patties and the usual do it yourself waffles. No eggs.

My only disappointment was that there weren’t eggs out at breakfast.

Front desk staff, both evening and daytime, were friendly and attentive. Housekeeping was lacking in both the hallways and the rooms. Place is a bit dirty and worn down. Bed was okay but pillows were terrible. Breakfast buffet was adequate for our needs.

Reality did not match the advertising. Breakfast was advertised as breakfast buffet but other than waffles most was cold choices. There was no eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy. I chose this so as to not have to leave for breakfast so obviously I was disappointed. I could have paid less elsewhere and purchased warm breakfast with the difference in cost.

Entire stay was poor. Check in was slow. Hotel looks abandoned from the road. The room was out dated, the ac couldnt keep the room cool. The breakfast was unattended and poorly stocked.
