The entire parking lot is in a horrible condition. Big holes and cracks everywhere. Staff was excellent. My wife loved the pool.

Facility was dilapidated and had peeling wallpaper in the hallways because there is no air conditioning in any part of the property other than inside the rooms. Majority of the property was uncomfortably hot. Doors that should be closed and locked at night were propped open 24 hours a day due to the excessive neat inside. Box fans were seen everywhere throughout the property including approximately 12-15 in the bar/restaurant. Staff members were uncomfortably sweating while taking care of the guests. Room was surprisingly clean and comfortable and the staff members were very nice and welcoming…..that was the ONLY upside to this property. I would not reccomend this property to anyone. I expected so much better quality and conditions from a Wyndham property. They should be ashamed.

This hotel brags about a mediocre live band that plays in a bar located in a large open central area that is surrounded on all side by the guest rooms. This band palsy country music until 10 pm on a Saturday night which disturbs every guest room in the hotel. There is NO escape from the noise until they stop playing at 10 pm. When you come to a hotel while traveling you expect to be able to sleep! NOT here unless you wait until quiet hours after 10 pm on a Saturday. On top of that they charge you $10 a person for a low end breakfast buffet that is 1 choice of eggs, 1 choice of potato and 1 choice of meat. Prepackaged danish and some bread or bagels. Even a Motel 6 offers a free breakfast. Also, this hotel offers no elevators. They were not even there. When complaining to the staff they shrugged their shoulders and said isn't it great! A LIVE band for you and well...they will stop at 10 because the whole place has a quiet hours policy.

The staff was friendly and fantastic! Unfortunately, with the humidity of the pool, the rooms smell, musty, moldy. The sheets feel sticky from the humidity that even the air conditioner cannot remove. The pillows were gross, stained, and just felt dirty.

Top 5 dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in. 2 rooms, both nasty, both dirty, both smell like pesticides. Towels were soft! I guess. Upset.

I found a potato chip tucked under the mattress when undoing the covers. Black mold in the bathroom. Carpet/bottom wall border was coming up and snagged my ankle. Door needed slammed or else wouldn’t shut. And desk staff acted annoyed when approached.

Unfortunately, we had to leave this hotel a few hours after arriving. The pool area is really nice and the person who check us in (Jill) was lovely, but the room was dirty, in disrepair and there was mold. It also smelled strongly of mold so I did not feel it was safe to sleep there, especially with my kids. :( Other than the pool, the pictures on the website do not seem to be up-to-date with current state. Thankfully, hotels.com got involved and the manager did not us for 3 nights. I am only leaving this review because I don't want others to experience what we did.

Check in was not good. Someone else was in our room because they mixed up names. Room was musty, filthy, toilet was not clean, old food on floor. Stained bedding. And best of all cockroaches in the coffee maker. We checked out early.

The first room I was given had bed bugs. I took pictures and provided them to the front desk. They gave me a new room but I could not sleep the whole night worried that bugs were going to crawl in the bed with me… There’s a restaurant in the hotel. The front desk suggested to get some food there. I arrived 25 minutes before the kitchen was closing. When I tried to order, I was told it was too late. I wouldn’t have been that late if I didn’t have to change rooms but just added to the whole terrible experience.

Front desk check in person was awesome and helpful and friendly. Beyond that…this place is not good. Service at restaurant/bar was awful…unfriendly bartenders! Rooms…are awful. Curtains on the window were broken we had to clip them with my hair clips to have any privacy from the hallway. A/C was loud…you could hear every door slamming. Thin walls, small rooms…we didn’t even open our suitcase the one night we stayed thinking that we might be taking home some unwanted visitors (bed bugs???) For the price we paid…never ever again! This is not a $150 a night room…everything is dated, dingy and to be honest…a little scary. I thought maybe it would have that cute little “motel” vibe when I booked it…but no. It was disappointing.

I checked in on line. Was told i just need to go in and pick up my key. It literally took almost 5 to 10 minutes to check me in. Plus I prepaid for a suite then told I couldn't have the suite because I had a dog. But I called and was told I could bring my dog. The lady did get me a king room which was appreciated but it was very dated and dusty. I literally had a 4 inch bar for two people to hang their clothes. Turned the water on in the sink and it was a rust color for about 10-15 seconds. The gentleman who checked me in gave me absolutley no direction, not too mention I prepaid and then he charged me again for my stay. Luckily I caught it and the nice lady fixed it for me. I was very disappointed calling ahead to be sure I could have the suite and my dog could come to find out that no dogs allowed in the suites. Overall my experience was not a good one.

Staff was helpful. Parking wasn’t an issue. Did not like the set up of the hotel. Music from bar can be heard in the rooms. Do not like that the room door is in the atrium. Wasn’t able to easily get luggage to the room on the first floor. Had people with mobility issues and had to carry things up some steps and down the hall as no ramp to use the luggage cart. Room was clean. Got clean towels daily. Did not have breakfast.

Air conditioning was extremely loud. Day staff great, night guy was surly. Restaurant closed at 9:00, way early for guests traveling from the west coast. Seemed like heat was blowing in the hallway, hallway was very hot, but the room was comfortable in temperature. But again, the room air conditioner was extremely loud.

Checked in online ahead of arrival. Keys were waiting at front desk. Staff was over the top friendly and helpful!!! Room was nice, bathroom a tad small but fine. Breakfast buffet was a good variety. Food and drinks at the bar and restaurant were great. Extremely pleased and fully intend on staying again on future visits. Thank You for the warm stay!!

The staff, we’re not providing a professional service, I had a reservation for two rooms, they allegedly couldn’t find the reservation for two rooms but only for one, even though we had the reservation number and the email proving that we had two rooms. Hotel employees insisted that we had to pay for the second room or share the one room…….TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The highlight was the woman at the front desk. I came in frazzled because I couldn't find my card to put on file at first among a few other things that went left, but she was a real gem. The hotel itself is dated, but relatively clean, and it got the job done. Would recommend especially if you are visiting your kids at IUP, which I was.

This is my second stay within two months, this time they had live band, bar and grill. Food and music was great. Lisa was amazing! When I was there even after.. I left my bag there and was half way home. To Philly, when we realized. I called the hotel and Lisa made sure that I was able to get my belongings shipped to my house... Every effort she made and succeeded. I appreciate her!

The front desk was amazing, very friendly, kind and helpful. The lounge was clean and I enjoyed the band. If I had to change one thing it would be not letting bartenders on there phones while working the service would be much quicker.

Wish we would have been able to eat dinner on the premises but restaurant wasn’t open on the first night we were there and we had already made a plan on the second night.

When we arrived the desk staff was not behind the office. Even he came out he had just taken a bite of food, was chewing and then wiped his mouth with his hand. All normal things…except when you’re the front desk receptionist! It was a bad look. When we went to leave the next morning there wasn’t anyone at the desk either.

We stayed here for Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney and were extremely pleased. The staff was incredibly friendly and nice. The property amenities were explained to us at the front desk and they offered to show us anything we needed to find. Our room key cards had an issue and the gentleman at the front desk quickly re-coded them and kindly said if the keys didn't work that time he would be right up to fix it. The lobby was welcoming with a seating area and coffee/tea. The pool area was unique and provided not only a swimming option, but there were also tables and places to sit and relax after a busy day. Downtown Indiana, PA is only a five minute drive down the road. There you will find a variety of food and dining options, an old time theater, and the Jimmy Stewart Museum. We were very satisfied with our overall experience!

Hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Indoor common area was a cool place to just hangout and the bar was great. We didn’t eat in the actual restaurant, but we had drinks and food at the bar. Good prices and good food. Bar staff was super friendly. Front desk person was very nice and accommodating. If you’re expecting The Plaza, this isn’t the place. But if you want a reasonably priced room with nice amenities, this is the place. Cable was a little funky. Local channels were terrible reception and the picture just didn’t fit the screen and not adjustable. Other than that, not a single issue. Would stay there again if I’m traveling to Indiana.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was an ok size. The hotel overall was ok. There was an issue with one of the hallways in the hotel where as the heat was blasting in the middle sof the summer which made it extremely hot to walk thru the hallway. The pool area was nice and spacious. The bar area and dining area closed way too soon. There were very limited options for food or drinks after 9pm in the area.

The rooms were not very clean. The pool was a good size however all 5 of the kids that traveled with us had a VERY BAD REACTION to the chemicals in the pool water. One of them ended up having to go to the emergency room. You get what you pay for. They charge $10 for breakfast and most of it is dried out. Was definitely not worth the $10. Go to a restaurant instead

Convenient location, clean & comfortable room, front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
