I loved the location. The elevator did not work and my spouse has difficulty with going up and down stairs, especially bringing luggage to our room and back to our car when leaving. The pool was refreshing but not clean. There was hair, bugs, twigs and leaves in the pool and it should be cleaned every few hours

The building and property immediately around the office is abysmally dirty and in disrepair although some remodeling seems to be happening. Thankfully we were assigned a room in a separate building where conditions were slightly better. Elevator out of order. Drilling or sawing at 7pm Numerous additional charges added to original quote including a $5.99 “cleaning fee”(?)

Didn’t get breakfast because elevator was broken so if you wanted it you had to get in your car get out in traffic on Main Street and go get. The one day we did they had no food a hour into breakfast. Your pics were wrong on this site and didn’t get the room I booked

Super run down. Elevators don’t work. Parking is awful. Asked for ground floor room due to traveling with my elderly mother who has a hard time walking. Girl at the counter said that she’ll put us on the first floor. The first floor is actually on the second floor above the parking area. Again, elevators didn’t work.

The floors were dirty, there is a big gap under the door so the light and noise does not get blocked at all, the door to the room and balcony have not been wiped down in a very long time they were very dirty, I wiped them down myself and the wipe was filthy. Bed was comfortable, good location if you want to walk the strip. We did get a bear visiting the parking lot twice during our stay which was pretty cool to see, so when they say no food in the car make sure you listen. Breakfast was ok but it was free. The hotel needs a lot of attention.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences our family has ever had. The room looked nothing like the photos online. The building felt old and neglected, and the elevator was broken. But the biggest issue: black mold. We found it on the walls and in the bathroom, and there was a strong musty smell throughout the room. It felt unsafe and completely unsanitary. There’s no excuse for this kind of health hazard in any hotel. We ended up leaving and finding another place to stay. Do not book this hotel — it’s misleading, unclean, and not suitable for families or anyone expecting even basic standards of safety and cleanliness.

The mold on the ceiling in room and bathroom. Also on the lamp shades. We were exhausted. Went to sleep and woke up to see it. My partner he was sick after and we cut our trip short. We didn’t stay. We checked in, while going to the room, found out there was no working elevator, which was not told to us. After getting to the room, walked in to find stink bugs EVERYWHERE! They were on the floor, on the ceiling, on the drapes and on the bed. That’s all we had to see, we immediately exited the room, and demanded a refund from the office. Let me say, we choose cheaper rooms to save money, and when doing so, don’t expect perfection or luxury, and have only left a hotel without staying one other time in almost 30 years, but I have never seen so many bugs in one place at one time in my life! The office staff were not concerned, or even surprised about the bug problem! So, when they offered another room, we absolutely refused, and insisted on the refund. Avoid this hotel, it’s not worth the money you’ll save!!

Virtually EVERY piece of furniture in the room had paint splattered or smeared on it. The carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed, but it was actually the abundance of splattered paint that covered the rest of the room, and it had a ripped out patch, approximately 3”x6”. Sink was stopped up & had standing water the 2 days we were there, in spite of it being reported. Bathroom was dirty. Stucco & sheet metal were falling off the exterior of building. The “resort fee” was waived because the elevator was broken. The sign at the motel should have the word POOR added before the name Choice.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! We checked in around 5:30pm and the first room we went into the beds were completely untouched from the previous guests. I understand that for the price and location it won't be the most updated place, but you can at least change the sheets before we arrive! The pictures on the web do not do justice at all!!! The building literally looked like it was falling apart, and the bathrooms were so dirty it's like they don't clean at all. We asked to get a room change and they gave us another room that the beds were made but the bathroom and everything else you could tell were still very dirty. The doorknob was loose, I was so afraid someone was going to be able to break in. They included "free breakfast" we decided not to eat there since the whole thing was disgusting. We weren't the only ones with this issue they were another family that seemed to have the same issue I saw them go in one room right after we arrived and switched to the other building in front a couple of minutes later. Here are the pictures of the room we walked into. Didn't even get a discount or refund at all just an "oh I'm sorry about that". We paid over $350 ONE night Thursday-Friday October 10-11. No holidays or weekend stay. (we paid extra because we had two small yorkies) And they told us they couldn't give us a better room then that because of the animals. I understand all that but sheesh at least give me something that is upkept. Wall to ceiling was dirty!!! Unbelievable!

Awful. Absolutely disgusting room. I didn't even stay because of how dirty the room was. Upon checking into the room, it stunk like moldy air conditioning. It had clearly not been vacuumed or mopped because there were muddy spots and dog food on the floor. There were dead bugs along the floorboards, and hair on all of the sheets. You could lift up the sheets and see dog hair and human hair, which indicates that the sheets had not even been changed. We complained, and we're assured that the room would be cleaned right away. We came back in an hour, and no one had been by. We checked out because it was so disgusting. Absolutely zero Stars, avoid this place like the plague.

Photos are deceiving. The room had a musty oder like mold. The bathroom & balcony doors had dirty fingerprints. There was black mold in the sink and on the shower wall. Tile on bathroom floor needed cleaning. Freezer in the fridge was unusable due to excess frost.

Huge list not sure I have enough words…light coming in window at night, see picture. Dirty shower, old spring bed, lamps with holes, light sockets unable to keep things in the socket, no light bulb in one lamp, no knob on lamp to keep shade from wobbling, hardwood floor no transition to marble floor in bathroom. Step on that in the middle of the night, big 3 inch gap. Toilet paper thing fell off wall, light switches missing a screw. Door wouldn’t open every time, got stuck almost had to use body to get it to open. Parking lot was ok. Hole in wall behind tv for cable, hole with cords coming through. We left a day early, we couldn’t sleep well with the bed and the light coming through. Couldn’t move to other room, sold out, Slammed Enuff was in town. Every time my husband went to office there was someone else in there complaining about their rooms. When we left there was 3 other people asking for refunds.

We stayed here for three days. When we arrived, the wifi did not work. When I went to the office to let them know, they said someone was working on it. The next day, when it still wasn’t working, they said they would call someone. The last day they said the same. The last day we were there, the air conditioner broke. The elevator was not working the whole time. The front desk staff was nice and polite but I felt that they knew about the WiFi and were just being dishonest about calling to fix it. The motel has a nice location. It is on the outskirts of the city and the proximity to the national park is good.

The shower was very nice. You could tell they just done renovations of the room however the water pressure was terrible The lighting in the room itself is not all that great there's gaps in the doors both the front and the back and the bathroom. The elevator was out so therefore carrying luggage up two flights of steps was horrible. This is especially bad for someone who has congestive heart failure and bad knees. The parking lot is very small so not a lot of room to park. The lock was broke in the room so it had to be replaced. The safe in the room didn't work. If I had to rate the stay on a scale of 1-10 it would be a 2.

Staff was friendly. Room wasn't bad. Some things needed touched up or replaced like the paint in the bathroom and the shower curtain rod. The wifi however, didn't work for us. I'm guessing because our room was right next to the hillside. The free continental breakfast was good. There was plenty to choose from. Waffles, bagels, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage links, sauteed peppers & onions, roasted potatoes, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, apples, cereal, juice and milk. We liked the balcony that overlooked the creek. Our room also had a fireplace. It's right on the strip so everything was easy to get to. It is located towards the end of the strip. It sits behind Howards restaurant.

The bds were clean and relatively comfortable. Definitely needs an update, holes patched poorly in every wall and door. Front door didn’t close properly. It however was very close to everything you’d want to see. So as long as your expectations are low it’s worth exactly what you pay for it.

The location was the best thing. This hotel was probably nice 20 years ago, but is really in need of a remodel. The main entrance is narrow and hard to get in and out. There is a rediculous $10 per day parking fee. Parking under the hotel is difficult but not impossible. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is mediocre. Gravy was horrible, but everything else was ok. Gas fireplace didn't work. Staff came to the room and checked it, but never got fixed. Several places in ceiling showed repairs and there was still about a foot section that was hanging down. The bathroom toilet lid moved and there was mold around the molding. The room was clean, but just really worn out.We stayed in 226 which was all thd way down on the end and had a balcony on the river. The bathroom did have a heat lamp which was great. Shower had good water pressure. If somebody remodeled this place it would be nice, but we won't stay here again.

We arrived early in the morning for our stay. We were greeted both pleasantly and professionally by Andre. He gave us all the information for our stay. When I needed it repeated, he did so while being both patient and polite, giving us a good feeling right at the start. We enjoyed our clean, quiet, and comfortable room and ended our stay with a well made and tasty breakfast. All of our interactions with staff made us feel like welcomed guests!!!👍❤️

I got into my room. I noticed both beds has been slept in and was not fixed which the front desk lady was very respectful and nice and gave us another room. Just a housekeeping could do more better by doing room checks and knowing which rooms to put people in And the elevators were not working I have a Spine condition I had to walk to the top floor due to the elevator, not working. Also went out to my balcony in the new room, and there was a whole cup of nasty cigarette ashes. I’m not a smoker so that was very disgusting to me that I had to smell nasty cigarette buds the whole time.

Sadly I never could get into the room - I was sent 3 times to the 3rd floor as the key would not register to the door. You ask why I didn’t take the elevator? It was out of order. A theme surrounded the property. Check in building the glass doors were busted and a wet mop sign was in front of it. Several patrons as well had the same issue with their cards. I was told to “wait” on maintenance. As I sat for the hour they never showed. I finally got a hold of the 3rd party service to get my charges refunded. The property told me directly they would not. Don’t waste your time here.

I’ve actually never done this in my life I honestly want a refund. The staff was horrifically rude and nasty, uninformative about anything in the area and booking a room sake was a be quiet,really uncomfortable exchange. There was mold throughout the room and all in the fridge, and there was a disgusting stained and wet towel under the fridge and used cleaning towels about the room. It smelled like pee. We used the restroom only and then left without spending more than 20 minutes there. I did not even bother to try to get a refund or another room as I didn’t want to speak with the girl at the desk again. We just left and got another hotel.

We checked in which was easy however we got to our room, tiredfrom the drive, found out the tv did not work on iver half the channels so went we went for breakfast the following mirning we told the front desk, he said that he would have someone fix it that day, we got back that night and no one had fixed the issue. So again the next mirning we went back down to the office and told the front desk again and again he said that he would let maintenance kniw we also at that time told him about the light above the mirror flickering and he said he again would let maintenance know again we come back that evening and you guessed it nothing was done. We did not go back down the following mirning we figured ut was not going to get fixed that they would again give us the same song and dance so upon checking out we told a different front desk attendant and he did not see the paper that the other front desk wrote everything down on. We also let them know at this time about the shower head constantly dripping and the sink faucet not turning off unless you found the sweet spot. We did not mention the soiled lamp shades because at this point i was already annoyed that things were not repaired while we were there and just felt it was no big deal. Would not let me add photos or the video of the tv not working properly or the video of the light flickering...

Love the sound of the creek and its proximity to everything. You can park here and not need to worry about driving for your stay. The staff is very kind and even upgraded my room the night after I walked a sweet lady from the front desk from my room (she checked to make sure was ready for us) back to the front desk due to a bear in the parking lot having her scared. So nice of her to personally check the room before having us go to it. And this was at our 4am arrival and check in time. Super courteous and helpful. We’ve stayed her multiple times and will again in the future

The hotel is in a great location right on the parkway. I typically won't stay at a Quality Inn but decided to take the chance due to positive reviews, location and price. It is an older motel, but you can tell they have had recent renovations. The pool was heated and open until 11pm so we were able to take advantage of the pool this early in the season and relax after walking all day. I do wish the lights on the balconies shut off and our door to the balcony was very difficult to open but being right over the creek was beautiful.Overall, I would stay here again. It was great for the price.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Located across from Ober Gatlinburg and next to the convention center as well. Walking distance to everything. We really enjoy the Creek under the balcony and they have a pretty good breakfast as well. It was our second time staying and we will be back again.

Charged for parking. Shouldn't have to pay to park. Especially if you are staying there at the hotel. Ran out of breakfast by 8:30 am and no one came out to refill the breakfast. If you didn't get the breakfast by 8:00 am then you just didn't get to eat. Parking is horrible. Not enough spots to park.

Creek was cool. Got stuck on the pet friendly side with people yelling all night. Room was not clean. Requested move and the manager obliged. 2nd room was much nicer. Breakfast food ran out every day, 30-45 minutes before closing.

Amazing location. Loved the creek and pool. The room was clean and neat. This is a no frills hotel option. Not a luxury option, and we were ok with that. The nightly bear sightings was alarming at first, but once we learned what to do (and not to do), we were fine. It’s just a regular occurrence in Gatlinburg. The morning breakfast could use some improvements. It was just underwhelming… otherwise this place was great!
