Check in professional, bar for drinks & light dinner very good, room clean & comfortable, too far to the elevator, carpet in hall’s & especially on the stairs is gross …

The hotel was really nice and clean, they are undergoing some renovation currently, but that did not affect our stay.

Extremely overpriced for current conditions. Hotel under renovations. Constant loud construction and continuous noise during the day. At night, we were staying with a family member in the hospital, so it was very unfortunate we were unable to rest during the day.

Unfriendly staff. The lobby was being renovated. Had to wander around for 15 min before we could find anyone. They charged us random rates, and when I asked about it they looked at my hotels.com booking and told me that my hotel was actually the one down the street so I needed to talk to hotels.com because I didn’t have a reservation there. And then they handed me my key and closed the door in my face. Bizarre interaction. But hey - there was a single banana for the entire hotel to share at the continental breakfast.

The breakfast time was great, ending at 10am gives the last sleeper enough time eat. The parking was convenient next to the entrance of hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, couldn’t get a nights rest.

This Hampton has been around for many years but is finishing up a refresh. My king room was very clean with new furnishings including the microwave and fridge. They have a self-serve laundry and a 24-hr gym that's a decent size; there is a pool but it's quite small. The staff is consistently courteous and helpful. I travel to the Knoxville every few months and this is my go-to stay.

We showed up to the lobby. There was no lobby. No front desk. They are renovating. No warning when we booked weeks ago. I walked around for 5 min then I went outside and decided to call. It rang and rang. I went back inside, and there was the phone system, sitting on a chair where the front desk used to be, ringing away for 5 minutes. Finally a worked found a hotel employee and they told us we couldn't check in until later. Asked us to do the digital checkin through the Hilton Honors app if we could. Of my 8 rooms, only one of us could. It didn't help because it didn't work. When we went back in after they told us the rooms would be ready the staff is nowhere to be found. We call them from the laundry room. They say, "give us a call when you get here." We told them "walk outside the door, we're in YOUR laundry room." They walked out got our names, came back with keys. My credit card got charged random amounts 5 charges for the 4 rooms checking in that day. That was weird. I asked them about it. They said, "Oh that says Hampton Inn Knoxville. That's not us." Ok, I ask, If I paid them and they charged us while you were checking us in, then why did you give us keys? Shouldn't the charge come from you? "You have to bring that up with them." Then she shut the door and we never saw an employee again. Rooms were good. Showers leaked all over. Breakfast was non-existent - see pic. Parking was all taken up by the workers.

My first stay at this particular hotel and I must say, I was blown away (surprised) at how nice this hotel was. My non-suite room was very spacious and clean; I felt I was staying in a 5-star hotel! The front desk staff at check in and checkout were very friendly and professional. Their hot breakfast was far better than others I've had as it included red-skinned potatoes, omelettes, and sausage links - along with the usual components like oatmeal, yogurt, etc. They had several coffee options "on tap" and the dark roasted was surprisingly good. I will definitely stay at this hotel again as I plan to travel to the same area again in the future. There are other lower-cost hotels in the area but this one is a sure bet and you won't regret spending a little extra for a taste of luxury.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room could have been cleaner and it is need of upgrading ( toilet, shower and walls). Carpet was stained.

The room was impressive, king bed could have larger and more pillows. Spotlessly clean, excellent staff.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. I could hear the guests above walking around in the morning, though.

Room is definitely due an upgrade. Looks good from the outside but dated room. Not the worst but definitely a let down.

The bed was broken down on a slant really messed my back up. I brought it to the attention to a young man working, he seemed not interested.

Have been a guest here often, visiting family in the area and attending UT events. Always a good experience. Only one suggestion: Room 412, the bed closest to the bathroom needs a new mattress, the Grand Canyon runs through the middle of it!

A/c / heat was noisy loud pop every time unit turned off

Like almost all hotels post Covid, the pillows are awful. The property and the staff were great, but updating pillows would be the best option for guests.

Excellent customer service and always happy to return for a visit

The property was very clean. Unfortunately there was a man who about every 15-20 minutes was out in the hall ranting and raving. This lasted until for 9:30 pm until about 1:30 or 2:00 am. When I asked the next day why the police weren't called they replied that the staff was unaware. Hmmmm... This was on the main floor and the VERY disruptive man was between our room and the front desk. We won't be staying there again.

Clean, modern property in a convenient location close to restaurants, stores, and highway access S’mores waffles were delicious in addition to variety of breakfast options. Friendly and helpful staff. 10/10

Was not what I usually expect from a Hampton. Realize they were doing a renovation but the breakfast was lame. Typical of a low budget hotel. I want a refund

Great breakfast, quiet room.

Was not very many feee apps. Variety could be more options. Breakfast was not hot. No gravy and biscuits. Pancakes is my favorite over omelettes. Was not so bad that I would have given a complaint. Just telling you because you asked. Loved that you’re pet friendly. You don’t just accept pets, you’re really pet friendly. Love that your rooms don’t have carpet. Carpets shows too many stains and hold too many smells. Not necessarily from pets. Some people are messier than some pets. When mine go outside, they get feet cleaned and when they take care of business, they get their hind side cleaned. So thank you for the fact we can bring our pet children with us.
