"free continental breakfast with juice and coffee" was a granola bar with juice and coffee, both from a machine that made me question their freshness (no milk or cream, BTW). The thermostat was not working properly in the first room I was given, and the friendly staff person moved me to another room. The second room was upstairs, and the outdoor stairway felt rickety and not entirely safe for a heavy person or one with loads of luggage. I don't blame the staff for the run-down appearance of the place, but travellers ought to know!

Based on the description on Expedia, I booked two nights at this property. I drove into the property, and it immediately looked "sketchy." But, I got the room key and went to the room. It was on the ground floor (#157) in a separate wing of the property. Above the door into the wing was a set of stairs with yellow "caution" tape all around it. There was litter strewn all around the wing, so there was nothing inviting at all. I went through the door into the wing to go to my room, which was at the end of a dark hallway. I went into the room and it, too, was dark and uninviting. It was clean, but it smelled dank and musty. The carpet was not clean, and the room only had two low-wattage lights in it. I opened the curtains to let more light in and was greeted by a concrete wall with garbage between the room's window and the wall. I returned to the office and let them know we would not be staying. I could not imagine anything that could be done to rectify the situation--not only was the room unacceptable, but so was the entire property. Of course, it was too late to get a refund because the property requires cancellation 72 in advance of arrival. But, we couldn't have known that the property was so bad until we actually arrived. Catch 22 -- we were out $171 for the two nights, and Expedia was unable to help because refund policies of the properties are sacrosanct. Stay here at your own risk. You've been warned.

The bathroom shower head was covered in black mold. We had been moving and cleanall day. I really needed a shower and was extremely disgusted by the shower head. The beds were ok, but the pillows were flat as a pancake. Breakfast was coffee, juice and granola bars. For the price, definitely not wrth it

Room completely filled with cockroaches. When I mentioned it to the staff they apologized and gave me a new room. That room was also filled with roaches. I left that night and slept in my car. When I came to ask for a refund I was refused and the manager seemed to not care even after showing her videos and pictures.

The motel is in terrible condition. The check-in office had a horrible smell inside and a few bugs. Everything is really old and feels dirty. Luckily the sheets didn’t have any visible stains, but everything just felt like it could have been cleaner. You could probably pay $10 or $15 more for a much cleaner motel.

Now I only stayed one night , but it was good the beds are comfy , the room smelt good and was extremely clean . Front desk lady was so nice and I was put in the back building (non smokers) and even the stairs leading up was clean and same with the hallway .. definitely recommend for a cheap hotel but doesn’t necessarily look cheap will be coming back

I arrived at 2pm for my reservation. On the app, I requested a 1pm check in. When I told her I was there to check in, she said check in was not until 3pm, that they were still cleaning the rooms. I find it very hard to believe that every single room was still being cleaned and that 1 was not ready. So I said okay, I guess I’ll come back later. I went on about my day spending time with my family. At 6:30pm, I receive a call from the establishment asking if I would be coming tonight. I said yes, I tried to come earlier. She said okay, I need your card details to hold your room. I said oh no you do not. She says well if you don’t show up, we lost the sale of the room. I tell her I understand that but I just told her I would be there. I ended up cutting my time short with my family at that point so I could go check in since there seemed to be an issue. I don’t think she was necessarily rude, I do think there was a small language barrier. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The air unit was difficult to navigate. The hot water took a long time to get hot and when it did, I spent the rest of the shower trying to cool it down. There are no outlets close to the bed. I was not able to use my cpap machine to sleep.

Clean and comfortable if a bit depressing. Rooms recently renovated but lack even the slightest bit of decorating. Lighting is adequate but bizarrely arranged and anything but warm. But if you're looking for a cheap, clean and comfortable overnighter on the road, this place is perfectly adequate.

This has a very utilitarian vibe. Just the basics, no frills which was fine. The part I didn't like was the check in when I was informed that if I used a credit card they were going to add an extra 3% to the price of my stay. I never saw anything about this extra charge in any advertisement and I don't think this was reflected in the advertised pricing. Very bad form IMHO. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It took quite a while for the hot water sink faucet to produce hot water and the water pressure was very low.

I was prepaid, but my card was billed again upon arrival. This mistake was corrected but it will be days before that money is available on my card. This Doesn’t really affect me now, but there was a time in my life where this could have been a huge deal for me traveling on a budget so it’s a pet peeve.

This is the second year we've stayed here, so we knew to expect a no-frillsn budget motel. The location is very convenient for the lake and the supermarket. This time, however, service was lacking. We arrived at 4 p.m. to checked in, and the receptionist and a housekeeper were more interested in gossiping than serving customers. Then when we got to our room it wasn't ready, and rather than apologize and give an estimate of when the room would be ready, the housekeeper was talking on her phone. I asked the receptionist for another room and was told I'd just have to wait, they were busy. Might try another accommodation when we're in town next year.

I noticed the price for the booking had dropped over the weekend after we checked in which is fine but for $250 the beds shouldn’t have felt like I was sleeping on rocks the pillows shouldn’t go completely flat like the floor , there was nothing about a free breakfast as advertised.. the room was cute but smelled like a thrift store when we entered .. there was only two towels for two adults .. for a last min booking it worked but definitely not worth $250 for two nights

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Upon entering this room (155) it smelled musty. Room was light all night. (Curtain to far from the window) no breakfast was available, your site said breakfast was available for free. There was granola bars and coffee, juice. But that was the breakfast they provided. In general the place was in need of some sort of upkeep.

Non smoking room had been smoked in. The advertised breakfast wasn’t. Juice machine broken , coffee machine is brown water and there was virtually nothing to eat. I will not recommend this
