Found a weird bug in the bed of our first room, got a new one and a similar bug was in the bathroom. It wasnt a bed bug, but it was larvae of some type. The elevators were downright terrifying with the noises, felt certain the left one would fail and kill us 😬. The breakfast was the worst ive ever had in any hotel, very few options and not tasty at all. All the rooms with 2 beds were only "double" beds, no queen's and they were very short. Our feet hung off the ends at nights Overall it felt like they slapped some paint on a very old and dilapidated building to try to make it nice

Hyatt Place Dallas/Grapevine is our go-to hotel when we are in the area. The parking is safe, the airport shuttle bus is on-time and efficient, and the rooms are very nice including comfortable beds and the additional of a living room space and desk area is handy.

The hotel has seen better days. There was one concierge at the desk at 4pm. Which was an hour after checkin begins. I waited quite a while. The rooms carpets are worn, the cabinetry is quite abused but overall the hotel is fine; other than the broken elevator. (One of two) we took the stairs a few time because the wait was long.

We stayed 3 nights and the room was spacious kinda stuffy but it worked for us. The elevators are old and only one worked most of the time. I will complain about breakfast when my mother and my daughter's went down there wasn't much options and one morning they had a nude tv show on the TV & we couldn't have breakfast cause no one changed the channel and we have kids

My first time leaving a review and I had to do so because when we got on the room, the bathtub had a spot that looks like rotten mental. That was not a problem. The major issue was we woke up with bed bugs crawling the beds and bathtub. We called and told them we found bedbugs and we would likely need to change the room or something. Nobody came up to the room and they told us they didn’t have double bed. We couldn’t stay in the hotel for the rest of the stay. I came back to get our things and seems like they already got it ready for someone else to use. Not sure if they treat it on not. They downplayed it and acted like we were lying. I have pictures and videos of this. Oh another thing, it was so busy with people walking around with Covid.

I've been an Expedia user for many years... but I've never been treated so poorly at a hotel for booking through this site. I found a cockroach in my room the moment I walked in. I couldn't sleep because the air conditioning unit was so loud it sounded like a truck was inside the room. The nightstand lamp never turned off, so I had to loosen the bulb. I didn't leave because I was coming off a very long flight from China and was too tired to look for another hotel. What I was told was to book directly through Hyatt's website next time. I didn't know that bookings made through Expedia are low-class. And I'd never seen a Hyatt hotel in such poor condition.

I’m not usually one to complain but I feel that I need to give a heads up to others coming to stay at Hyatt in Grapevine. We saw giant (and I do mean giant!) cockroaches 4 separate times during our 3 night stay: 1 in our room, 1 by the elevator, 1 close to the dining area, and 1 by the ice machines. 3 of those times were during the day. Also, we were originally put on the 6th floor (top floor) and our room was very hot. The air conditioner couldn’t cool it down and we were sweating so we were moved to the 3rd floor. It was better but still felt a little warm. It seemed the air conditioners struggled to cool. We had other smaller complaints but those I can overlook. During check out, the guy that helped us was very nice and did try to make things better by removing the cost for one of our nights. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this hotel.

It was a quick stay. I e machine were broken. The carpet was damp in our room. The ac wasn’t as cold as it should have been. Woke up at 3 am sweating to death. The shower was Luke warm and very low pressure. The girl who checked us out in the morning I had to wake up. She was sleeping at the desk. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are other that are close by that are better choices.

Room was very spacious, but a little dated with furniture. Had tons of space though! Some stains in carpet here/there. Biggest issue was the HVAC unit - the heating coil was so broken and loud we had to shut it off at night just sleep, then wake up to a very cold room. Kept the heater on during the day while we were out so the room would be warm upon reentry. Continental breakfast was great! Too cold to check out swimming pool, but looked like a good size.

This was a nice hotel except for an extremely small bathroom. Difficult to move in such a tiny space. The shower was too small. It would have been better to have less room in the living area. The bathroom has to be an appropriate size. I don't know what tall or heavy people would have done in this tiny bathroom/shower.

My husband and I as well as two other couples stated that the hotel for the wine fest in Grapevine. This location was chosen due to his proximity to the festivities. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Perry, who was very informative and was great.. when I went to my room I was not pleased with the condition of the carpet, which had several spots all over it as well as the bathroom, the ceiling and the noise associated with my AC unit. Also, my remote control did not have any batteries in it? I had to call downstairs and was told that no one could bring them up because they were the only person on duty but when I called, no one answered I had to call the one 800 number in order to get in contact with someone at the front desk overall the room was not in the best conditions for occupancy. I felt like it had not been cleaned, and that there were maintenance issues that could have been addressed more readily for the state of the room. I was not pleased and will not stay at this location again. There was another young lady at the front desk, mid day Saturday and early night who would not greet us when we walked in and was very dry when we would ask for assistance definitely some more customer service training needed for her.

Regret to inform that my experience did not meet expectations.I encountered rude and unprofessional behaviour from a hotel staff at checking.Instead of receiving courteous assistance, I was spoken to unhelpful and dismissive manner. I was highly disappointed to find that the airport shuttle pickup which is included in the booking was not provided. It caused considerable inconvenience as I had to arrange uber of my own at 11 PM adding both stress and additional expenses to my journey. The staff answered the phone was not respectful and asked me to find uber or lift of my own as they dont provide airport picket in the night. I hope you will take immediate steps to train staff to ensure polite and professional behavior towards all guests. and provide accurate information regarding the availability of airport pickup. This being said I would also like to acknowledge the respectful and courteous service I received from the staff at checkout, which was very polite and much appreciated.

So convenient to DFW, shopping and more. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast buffet is above average. One note is the hotel shuttle is not 24 hours so I had to hire a Uber to catch a 6am flight. But would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Hyatt Place Grapevine was great until we went for breakfast. I believe the kitchen was understaffed for the large number of folks staying for the weekend. The variety of food choices was low and running out when we went to eat breakfast. The tables should have been wiped off when previous consumers were finished. Overall this was a nice place to stay. The property was very quiet and the staff were friendly. Well centered for easy access to everything in grapevine. The breakfast was not great but it's complimentary. The croissant and potatoes were like eating sand. The menu available for their onsite food service states their full menu is available during the day with a limited menu available after hours. When I inquired about getting a hamburger at lunch time, I was advised they only have cheese pizza or a sandwich available.
