Heritage Inn Suites Houston Sugar Land, Trademark by Wyndham

When we arrived the main elevators in the lobby were out of order. The good thing was that there was another one working just down the hall. Long story short, the only working elevator goes down (out of order) and now we’re left with taking our luggage from the 5th floor to the 1st.

The room was fine. The heated pool was not heated and later closed due to the broken heater. Breakfast not great. No pancakes/waffles. Same scrambled eggs and sausage over and over. Very loud air conditioner. Street noise was loud. Barking dogs.

The only thing that was upsetting was the hot tub was not working on our final day of staying overall nice hotel to stay.

We had high expectation as the property was highly rated. It was a little anticlimactic. The facility itself looked dated. Building carpet was just replaced, but our room's carpet was worn. Loud AC. The gym was minimal. Elliptical and a treadmill were broken. A few dumbbells and 2 treadmills were ok. Breakfast were average. Staff were friendly. Overall good for the price.

Staff was nice, breakfast was good for it being a hotel, and prices were great. Pool and hot tub were clean. Our room was very clean.

Stayed here before and was very nice. Room kind of drab, within an hour all of our allergies flared up. Sneezing, stopped up noses all night. Asked them to please vacuum room really well the next day. Helped some. Once left room allergies better. Sunday morning woken up to phone call about truck being broken into too. Mine and 4 other vehicles had busted windows.

The place was very nice and the pool area was amazing. I enjoyed the Jacuzzi and comfort of the bed. The breakfast could have had more variety of options though!

Great place, but only one elevator worked and hot water was out

The worst hotel , the sheet and blanket on the bed seems never washed , the cool air come from the AC smells moldy , I order three nights but I can not sleep the first night ,and I check out the second day , wasted my money ! Money can not refundable , there are hairs on the bed everywhere ! Nightmare!

Did not know I had bedbugs in my bed until the last day when I seen one on the bed and then I was seeing all the bits on my body

Both Front desk clerks were super sweet and helpful. 5 star to them. Room (330) not so much. It had a musty smell, the carpet was covered with huge nasty stains and the sheets were questionable on cleanliness. Shower water pressure was low and seemed like the shampoo was watered down. Atleast the bed was comfortable.

There was bed bugs.

When we first checked in, we needed to go down to the front desk to ask for a new room, because our room was infested with ants. They stated they could not accommodate that, and gave us a can of bug spray. We also had a towel in the bathroom that had blood dots on it, and there was a giant clump of hair on the bed when we entered the room. Overall this place was gross and very disappointing.

Everything was clean but outdated. Furniture and carpet in room was stained. Great value hotel that is close to sugar land activities

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was above and beyond clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was stocked with all we needed; microwave, fridge, tv, alarm clock, hair goods, towels. Hotel was quiet, hallways were clean and smelled good. I will definitely return here and recommend it to whoever is in this area and looking for a place to stay.,

There was a dead cockroach in the living area of our room. There was also water damage above the shower that had the paint bubbling off and looked like mold damage.

Very clean. Housekeeping came everyday with new towels as requested. Staff were excellent my whole stay.

Friendly staff. Towels and toilet were dirty upon arrival. Staff took care of it right after I mentioned it. I requested for the room to be cleaned the following days, however, no one came. Window seal in room was apparently broken and water got in from the rain the last night we were there. Faux leather headboards were very worn and peeled off onto us when ever we were in bed. Breakfast wasn’t bad, just wasn’t a wide variety and a bit dried out/overcooked. Same biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and oatmeal everyday for the warm options. I wouldn’t mind staying again if it was just myself on a quick business trip. Not comfortable and convenient enough in my opinion for me to stay long term or bring my family back to.

The window AC unit was running non stop and not able to cool the room temperature. The temperature was 75 at night even the AC unit was at its max. I reported the issue to the front desk, but the problem was not fixed.

Room had a nice layout but smelled old. Lobby was hot like the A/C wasn’t working. Breakfast was awful. I mean for the price I expected a lot more and definitely would not recommend this place to anybody. The only plus was the wonderful staff!

For the price, it was fair condition. The bathtub was so slippery and when I told the manager in duty that night, Vanessa, that the bath tub is really slippery and asked if they have a rubber mat for the bathtub because the slippery bath tub is dangerous and can cause accident. She just said that they don't have rubber mat. Not showing any concern or a slight sense of courtesy that I told her the bath tub is slippery and might cause accident ,people might accidentally slip and fall and they might be liable. Instead she just ignorantly say "Just be careful". The headboard on the bed is also peeling and when I woke up in the morning, there were black flakes all over my bed and pillows. I was confused where those black flakes coming from and later realized it's from the headboard that was peeling. I won't come back to this hotel.

It was a perfect location for what we had planned to do.

Everything except the rooms had musty smell very outdated decor

It’s a nice enough hotel but the room was very dated. It had a vinyl headboard that was all worn out. The room itself smelled very old, we had gotten a “suite”, perhaps it’s not used very often which could explain the musty/old smell. Even the sheets smelled the same. Also, apparently they don’t service the rooms daily unless you ask. In my opinion, this is a cost saving method hotels use ever since Covid… I hate that!!!

Customer service is key in every situation. The staff acted put-off by any little request. The fish does rot from the head down, and the front desk manager has her staff trained not to bother her. When she is made to be available, she is condescending and un-accommodating. Perhaps because I was dressed so casually, she took me for someone with no sense or importance, but she lost this property approximately $10,000 by not accommodating one small request that was due to an un-avoidable one-day change of plans. She acted like she “couldn’t” do it. As a previous administrator for IHG, I know how false that is. Terrible service!! Our company and its employees will not return.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful- printed out directions/map for me which brought me straight to my doctor’s office. Thank you!!! So appreciate your staff. Receptionist was a real gem!!!

The check in was smooth though i paid $ 60 extra for an early check in despite the fact that there were rooms available and empty.

I had 5 days 3/23 there was hot water Monday,Tuesday no hot water Wednesday we had half a day hot water and Thursday the same reception staff rude when I asked they said they were working on it I said good morning no response I asked for the email of a manager and they said will email it to you and never did I asked for a print out receipt and said she could not print one that I will be emailed one I checked out at 9 am

My stay was fine until it was time to leave and I found that someone hit my vehicle and broke the side mirror! And the hotel has NO cameras in the parking lot! And they offered no help whatsoever. They told me to call the police which would do absolutely nothing!

We came into town under heartbreaking circumstances—to be with family during the final moments of a loved one’s life. This hotel only made that experience worse. The ratings must be fake. The building is dated, dirty, and the customer service is non-existent. My wife and I booked 3 nights in advance, not knowing exactly when our loved one would pass. She passed at 2am on our first night. The next morning, staff refused to move our remaining nights to a future date. No compassion, no flexibility—just cold policy. Our sister arrived from Austin at 3am, directly from the hospital. Instead of compassion, she was scolded for not calling by 2am to “check in by phone.” Her reservation had been canceled. The front desk clerk’s response: “Yeah, next time try to call by 2am.” Rather than help, they forced her into a new booking at a higher rate. Later we found she was charged for both the canceled and new reservation. The manager, Vanessa Fiammetta, was equally unhelpful—dodging responsibility and hiding behind policy instead of offering any humanity. I understand charging for no-shows, but when guests are physically present and rooms are available, decent service calls for rebooking at the original rate—not double charging and deflecting. This was a disgraceful experience and a poor reflection of the Wyndham brand. Do yourself a favor: stay anywhere else.

The staff was friendly but was disappointed that the front desk/manager wanted to charge me $30 to check in early for a room that was ready.

Quiet safe area. Plenty of stores in the area.

When this was Drury Inn, it was ok. Now there are people sleeping outside in their cars and there are homeless-ish people around the property where I would not feel safe letting my kids out of my sight. Has really dropped off bad! Would not stay here again.

Highly recommended. Near main roads. Near gas station and store. Enough space for parking.

Hotel was in a great location. It felt very safe and was within a 30 minute drive to most places we visited. The room needs a little updating but was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, plenty of parking. We loved the Mexican restaurant across the street. Would definitely stay again.

This place is great! The staff is so helpful and courteous. The stay included not only breakfast but also dinner/drinks nightly. I will be staying here for all future trips.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. AC fan was very noisy. Breakfast was bland tasting and as basic as it gets. Price was good compared to other hotels in the area, so I guess that's the tradeoff.

The room was very clean. The diningbare for breakfast was excellent as was the lobby. The breakfast was very good. The only noticeable thing was that the lobby was very warm when we first entered the hotel. The temperature of our room was great, nice and cool.

Nice clean hotel. Just a suggestion, the breakfast could become monotonous and a bit limited, in case you are staying for longer duration. I stayed for 7+ days so could feel that, otherwise everything is good and convenient.
