The property was under construction and I had no idea until we arrived. The pool was also part of this renovation. While they gave us a pass to walk to the Hilton, it was a walk for sure. More or less, I was just disappointed.

Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Not noisy. Friendly staff. Good location. The renovation work blocking pool access was not mentioned when we booked online. They offered pool passes to the Hilton, but it would have been nice to know before about the renovations.

Nasty filthy hotel. Had to be moved from first room - wonky backwards-working bathroom door, curtains torn & TV didn’t work. Got moved to another room - smelled like musty dirty smell. Carpet dirty with red stains. Didn’t sleep well because stale dirt odor constantly. AC ran every few minutes - annoying! Literally holes in hallway ceiling tiles. Elevator rickety, noisy & hot. Hotel clerk says they’re finally starting renovations after waiting for 5 years! Plastic sheeting on walls in lobby/dining area. Hotels.com should have disclosed this about hotel being renovated before I booked it. Marriott & Hotels.com, I am highly disappointed in you both! Last Marriott we stayed in I booked directly & stayed at was absolutely pristine. This place was a total disappointing dump! One of the worst places we’ve ever stayed.

The elevator and hallways where extremely hot even tho the rooms and bottom floor was cool! The carpet needs redone and thought that the elevator was going to break on us. Other than those little few things my overall stay was wonderful! Extremely nice staff very helpful!

Room was clean but the entrance, lobby, pool, courtyard were under major construction, just would of been nice if I knew that prior to reserving, they also started construction at 8 am right outside our window and since we were on vacation it was annoying

Check in was amazing. Sendy was very friendly. Maid service never entered our room. They were down the hall when we left our room for the day, so I don’t know why they chose not to clean our room. And even if they would have, they apparently do a half-a** job. Found a dead roach ground into the carpet right next to the bed and mold on the ceiling of the bathroom.

The entire courtyard, front of the hotel, and pool were under construction. This was not disclosed when booking. There were stains covering the carpet in our room and the bathtub was dirty.

Right across from Waco Civic Center, on the river. Quiet area of town, other facilities nearby. Outside appearance is well kept, inside at first appears well kept but during several day stay a couple of things became apparent. Carpets in hallways and elevator were spotless when I got there during the week. By the weekend they appeared not to have had proper attention. My room's shower was in need of some maintenance. The mold growing in the latex caulk used to seal grout lines was not real obvious until one took a second look. And it grew and spread during my stay. Booking rooms full of kids is asking for trouble. Noise and the mess hey left behind was a little disturbing.

At $240 night it was very expensive for what we got And we were told this was a discounted rate. There was nothing really wrong with the hotel, but it also wasn’t anything special at all. Our room was very loud. We could hear every word of the people next door making it impossible me to sleep

We chose this hotel for location (close to downtown). When we arrived to room, it was not very cool and soon realized the AC did not work… they were able to get maintenance to come in minutes (a plus) and they did fix it.. unfortunately other problems or issues made the cost of this stay a bust. Heres the highlights… TV was supposed to include Netflix but we got nothing but “error” message when we tried to watch so it never worked… went to lobby for a nighttime snack and my daughter chose a pint of ice cream… not worth $11 charge to room so advise you skip the Market unless you need something thats an emergency. The beds were extremely hard and the pillows had no support so needless to say it was no sleep and massive neck ache in the morning. The $15 breakfast buffet that was offered was barely the equivalent of the “free” breakfast you get at most average priced hotels. So skipped that for sure… We hoped to get a Starbucks coffee drink before check out , but unfortunately the coffee machine was “out of order” no less. I was hopeful for a good stay but definitely a BUST FOR THE PRICE. I will look elsewhere for my next night in Waco… Sorry Courtyard

The mattresses need to be replaced. It was very apparent to me that they are worn out b/c one side of the mattress was squished down from people always choosing one side to sleep on. The old spring mattresses were so uncomfortable. I was sore after one night. On the 4th day I drove home 4 hrs w/ the seat warmers on to soothe the soreness.

The A/C and the fridge we both extremely noisy. When the A/C turned on during the night it would wake you up. Then when it would turn off the fridge would start. Not a great experience that way. You could also hear the guests in the neighboring rooms just talking.

Check in was amazing. Two kind gentlemen (I believe one was a manager and one in training) checked us in. They were pleasant and funny. Gave us good recommendations. The hotel was walkable to many places to eat, and was very clean and up kept. We opted to pass on the breakfast. It was $15 Buffet style… but was honestly the same continental style breakfast we received previous nights at the Hampton. Waffles, toast, eggs, grits, sausage, Muffins…

Air conditioner did not work. Two maintenance technicians came to see it and said it needed to be replaced. No other rooms available to move us too. Manager said he couldn’t give us any accommodation(reduction in price) since it was booked through third party.

The property is a smaller Courtyard Marriott but it has everything you need. The pool area is well kept and pleasant. The staff was the best! Thomas, the manager was absolutely wonderful. His positive personality made the biggest difference in my stay. Me (and my dog) had the best time! Will be back!

Thomas, the AG who checked us in was wonderful! He had places highlighted where we could eat considering it is Thanksgiving. He is very personable and friendly. It was one of the best check in I have experienced.

The front desk staff was absolutely awesome! I didn't get a name, but the gentleman who checked me in was super friendly and recommended some great dining options that were a short walk away. If I'm ever back in the area again, I will definitely stay here! Short drive to the airport as well.

every facility I have used in the past has provided free/complimentary breakfast. My bad, I did not realize that I would have to pay $15.00 for my breakfast at Courtyard. Consequently my guest and I chose to skip breakfast. It would have cost me $60.00 to $90.00 for us to eat breakfast. I will probably not choose Courtyard in the future .

The property itself is nice. Most hotels of this caliber have free breakfast. This one charges $16 for the powdered eggs pre-cooked bacon, oatmeal and waffles. This should an embarrassment to charge that much for such a low quality breakfast.

After a very long day of traveling this property did not offer the rest I really needed. All staff were fantastic! The pillows were awful and about the size of throw pillows, the hallways were noisy and kept us up throughout the night and lastly breakfast was disappointing. For the price, I don’t think id stay here again.

Hotel is very outdated. Good location. Lobby was updated and nice place to hangout. Starbucks closes early- should be available all day.
