We've stayed here twice, as a pitstop on the way home from vacation. It's right off the freeway. It's pet friendly, which is why we initially chose it, but find it clean and comfortable. It's located next to a park, which is convenient if you're with kids (or pets), and they also have a grassy area next to the parking lot for pets. Close to fast food, as well as local restaurants.

I love that you are pet friendly, however Pet walking areas should be grass not mulch. Luckily there were areas nearby with grass, park, lots in front and to the side. Lits of doggy poop in the taller grass on these lots though. People not picking up after their dogs. The mattress in my room 409 was not comfortable. Soft and hammocking in the middle. After 4 nights my back was in no shape to drive 8 hrs home. Get some new do not disturb and pet placards for the door knobs!!! Maybe a magnetic one or a better way to hang. The other placard fell every time I went out the door, very inconvenient when your hands are full.

Nicely kept property in quiet area. Only disappointment was the high pet rate ($75/night). Hampton Inn’s do have some of the highest rates - I find this excessive and will make me pause before choosing Hampton in future which is too bad since I do like them. I think hotels in general are padding their books with these charges.

All the hotels were sold out in North Carolina along 77. As a last resort we ended up at this Hampton inn. We strode in at around 10pm after booking on-line about 3h prior. I wasnt sure what to expect because, well, hillsville. But man i was so impressed & relieved. The rooms were spotless. The bathroom was spotless. The sheets were clean. No mystery stains anywhere in the room. No mystery sticky surfaces. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was the most expensive hotel in the area and the bed was not great. The sheets were too small for the bed and there was the saddest small pillows. The carpet is terribly stained and overall not impressed for the money

Hotel charged my credit card although I explicitly told them that I already paid in full with Expedia. Then she told me that the hold was just for incidentals although she asked me to scan my card again because she was in the wrong screen. This should make for an interesting check out. A hassle I really don’t want to deal with.

We stopped at this hotel while traveling across the country and it was absolutely amazing. We didn’t get in until 3am and we had a newborn and a dog. We were so exhausted and the gentleman at the front desk was so nice and helpful even when I forgot to mention our dog again (I had called the hotel the day before but forgot upon check in to make sure everything was still good). The room was very clean and had a lot of extras like giant dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, soap, and moisturizers. The best part though: that breakfast. Holy crap I would drive the 6 hours back to this place just for the breakfast. They had EVERYTHING. From little cheese omelets to glazed lemon scones. Our travel was hell and what a relief it was to be here for a short time oasis.

Hotel was near half way point from NE Ohio and Savannah, GA. Chose because it included a hot breakfast with good choices: eggs, potatoes, sausage as well as continental breakfast items. Good breakfast helped us be prepared for long drive
