Great proximity to the sports complex and convention center. It was an easy walk for us which was so helpful with early morning games. Plenty of parking. Staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. No free breakfast or even a free coffee station in the lobby. No on site laundry facilities with a sports complex so close by seems short sighted. We managed. Indoor pool wasn’t heated so it wasn’t usable.Gym was basic but fine.

Customer service was not good. We have Never been treated terrible being a Hilton Honors. Front desk was rude. Pool was out of service all day on a Saturday the main reason we selected this hotel was for the indoor pool.

This Hotel is very nice. I stayed in November, so I knew what i was getting. When i made the reservation i specifically asked the front desk if the window in the pool area had been replaced because when we were there in November it was busted, and the Heated pool was freezing and unable to keep temperature because of this. I was told it had been repaired, and the pool was heated and holding temperature correctly now. I was lied to. The window is still broke and just some plastic taped over it Just like it was in November. This was very frustrating because my 2-year-old granddaughter loves to swim, and it was extremely cold. The other issue i had was we were on the 4th floor and there was some kind of repair going on as soon as you get off the elevator. The smell was awful. as soon as you went into the hallway you could smell it. To have this happen after the hotel was $257 a night almost $100 more a night since November was very frustrating. Also, when I stayed in November, I got 2 room just like I did this time, and I only had to put 1 $50 hold down for both rooms this time I had to put 2 $50 holds one for each room.

One of three elevators was not working and they’re not the fastest, so the wait for an elevator was long. The room was clean but…the air conditioner in the room was extremely loud and it took about 4min for warm/hot water in the shower (a lot if wasted water). The Staff was superb and made the stay pleasant.

All was good, if you are going to the convention center this place is perfect. Beach is another story, a slight walk. Elevators were not good though. One broke while I was there for my one night. The other 2 you could press your floor and the elevator would forget, one moment you're going up, then all of a sudden down and you have to repress the button. One of the rides I just got off so I didn't get stuck. Woke up the next morning to see one of them out of order.

This hotel was very clean, with a friendly staff and a smooth check-in process. The only downside is that the parking lot could use better lighting, especially since you may have to park farther from the entrance when nearby spots are full. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

Walking distance to indoor track facility, which is great. The customer service was also very nice. What could be improved is cleanliness of the rooms. There was red drink splatter on the walls in the entryway and on the bathroom wall. I made the front desk aware, but it was never cleaned up, even on my 2nd night there.

Awful experience. Stayed for a night and woke up around 3 AM. Noticed a bug on the sheets and squashed it and it was full of red blood. Started looking through the sheets only to find 6 or more with another full of my blood. Bed bug infestation so gross. Told the manager and left at 4AM to sleep in my car.

Staff did not even try to accommodate my reservation because it was done on a third party app. I was told there are no king sized single bed rooms but when I went on their website they still have some available. After bringing this to the staff attention I was still told the same thing. Pool was filthy and hotel had an Odor that smelled like a porta potty. Quite a bad experience.

I was expecting more staying at a double tree. We didn’t get offered the “famous” chocolate chip cookie from the drawer which I learned about after my stay. It was a very busy hotel and the parking was horrible, hilly and not convenient to the doors. If you parked out back you had to walk through the restaurant and bar. The bed was very hard! The walls are paper thin and we could hear all of the yelling and arguing in the adjoining rooms. The bathroom door was a barn door style, which is fine but it didn’t cover the door way when closed!! I’m glad it was just me and my husband otherwise I don’t know what I would’ve done.

I used Expedia to book this room for a short weekend getaway during spring break. $520 for 2 nights. Fridge was not cold and we lost food that we brought. The sink was broken; the water would not drain unless you used your hand to pull the stopper up; gross. The water was hot (this was something I was nervous about based on multiple other reports), but the pressure was weak. Breakfast is NOT complimentary, although they try to make it seem as though it is; buffet style and $20/person. Tried to charge it to our room after we paid cash. The room we stayed in had 2 very small "double" beds and was very dated. The remote control was absolutely disgusting; thank goodness I brought clorox wipes. Very noisy with overhead jets and nearby construction. My daughter and her friend took a brief dip in the pool and reported the water looked yellow and had stuff floating on the top, as if it wasn't being cleaned. Parking was good. Check-in was smooth. 5 minutes from boardwalk. I've stayed in multiple Double Trees over the years; this one by far was my least favorite. Would only stay again if I had to. Rated appropriately at 3 stars.

Hotel is fine. Location is amazing if you’re at the sports complex or convention center. Neighborhood seems safe. My tv displayed a big text box with an error message the whole time in the middle of the screen; they tried to fix it, but couldn’t, so I just had to live with it. The people in the room next door were also extremely loud, though that’s not really the hotel’s fault.

The property itself is very clean and updated. Check-in went smoothly, but then everything went wrong. We got to our first room and there was a sewage smell coming out of the shower drain (looks like it had been worked on as metal plate was removed and standing on end). We were offered the opportunity to have the 'engineer' come up and look at it or change rooms -- we changed rooms, but also because the TV was not working. In our second room, the TV was still not working (kept reading "off air" ) and despite many requests to have it fixed, we had no luck. We were eventually told, on day three, that there was nothing they could do because the TVs and systems were new and no one knew how to fix them. Again, not offered any type of reimbursement or opportunity to change rooms. Later, on day three, we came back to shower and found out we had absolutely no hot water. Despite phone calls to the front desk, we weren't getting any assistance so my husband had to go to the front desk and ask for help. After being ignored, he was finally able to talk to another 'new' manager (?) and get approval to switch to yet another room. This was now three rooms in less than 72 hours. At least room #3 had hot water and a working TV. I understand things go wrong, but we spoke to seven different front desk people over those days and no one, until this last woman, was helpful at all. Lip service was pretty much all we were given...and two free drinks at the lobby market.

The customer service is outstanding. Ivy was so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire stay. We are at the hotel restaurant everyday and enjoyed everything we tried. It is about 10 minutes from the beach and I would highly recommend.

Never again. This place nickel-and-dimes you for everything—$10/night to park one car, extra pet fees, and then calls complaining your dogs barked on the “pet floor” that already reeked of urine. First staff member I met had an attitude and was snarky. A gas/carbon monoxide smell forced everyone outside in the heat for over 3 hours with zero updates and nothing offered but a weak “sorry.” No refund, no free parking, no meal—nothing. On the last night, their parking QR code failed, and instead of comping it, they scribbled a temporary code and still charged me. I could have paid less elsewhere and gotten better treatment, cleaner conditions, and more respect. Overpriced and just not worth it.

*Reservations manager was rude and unethical during a conversation on the phone. Hours after I made the reservation, I tested positive for covid so I called the front desk to ask if I could cancel my reservation and they informed me to call back on Monday to speak with the reservations manager for a refund. I called back to speak with the manager and explained the situation. The manager stated that the original note said I wanted an oceanfront property not because of Covid. She accused me of lying by saying “so is it that you want an oceanfront property or do you have covid? Which one is it? Also we don’t excuse cancellations due to covid anymore and you had the reservation labeled in big red letters that it’s non refundable so there is that”. I explained that I never mentioned anything about oceanfront property. Somebody made a mistake at the desk with the notes, confused my reservation with someone else’s because I definitely never said anything about wanting an oceanfront property. I have no idea where that note came from so clearly it was an error on their end. But she kept stating “no refundable in big red letters”. At that point I knew she did not want to help so I just thanked for the info and hung up. I am very disappointed with the level of unprofessional customer service coming from a manager with an accusing tone. I realized that she basically accused me of lying and that it was my own fault since it was non refundable (IN BIG RED LETTERS). More respect please!

Overall stay was nice. Disappointed we had to pay for parking. But what was most unfortunate was the restaurant attached to the hotel. Trying to get seated or even water served was ridiculous. The food was meh at best for how expensive it was. Tip, don’t order scrambled eggs unless you like a scorching hot plate with cold eggs on it.

Good location for sporting events. Restaurant under remodel therefore closed. The small bar area was closed to hotel visitors for events. They should tell you these things when you book. (You won’t be able to eat there). The tv had volume only and no picture on the screen. There was no hot water.

The hotel itself was fine. Clean. I was shocked they didn’t have complementary coffee in the morning and the hotel resturant didn’t open until 7am where you had to place an order for a $4 drip coffee and wait for it. We left and had to wait in line at McDonald’s to get a coffee. I’ve never stayed in a nice hotel like this that didn’t have coffee available in the mornings.

The room was clean and the staff pleasant. My complaint is with the restaurant. The offered a breakfast buffet for $15 per person. It was a joke. I’ve had better breakfasts that were free. At first there was very little food out even thought the buffet was supposed to last for another hour. When they finally brought scrambled eggs they were watery. The grits were a solid lump and cold as was the oatmeal. The hash browns had obviously been heated in a microwave. The only fruit was a small bowl of melon. The only yogurt was an open bowl placed on some ice. The tea and coffee area was a small nook with only a few plain Lipton tea bags and some fruit teas. I saw many people struggling to find things. The hotel said you could order breakfast as well but no one ever offered us that option. It was certainly not what we would have expected for a breakfast buffet at a Hilton.

Great stay and definitely will stay again. Comfortable room and clean. The only downside is that breakfast and lobby coffee is not included. This wouldn't be a big deal except one morning I waited and waited and waited. It was serving hours but there was no one to ring me up for coffee. The front desk said she must have stepped out, so I waited more. I ended leaving without coffee. Great hotel but if you charge for what many places give complimentary, make sure the service is better.

Most hotels even low budget ones have coffee. Saturday morning no coffe inthe lobby was told could buy a cup at the restaurant. Coffe in room horrible water down bean water.

The glass shower door came off track and fell on my granddaughter. I prepaid for breakfast. It was $131.00 for my family to eat. The kitchen manager started yelling and cursing because her co worker didn't relay the message about food not being on the bar. I paid for 6 buffet meals. She threw a pan of bacon and was cursing .No potatoes, no sausage, cold French toast. She was very disrespectful. We refused to eat after that because I don't know if she might have done something to the food.

Property was quite fine overall. Assuming that the restaurant is separate, totally sucked, absurd wait for food, after promises of it being ‘plated’ and 15 minutes later having to go to the kitchen myself to find out what was going on. Told they had a banquet to cook for, would have been nice to have been warned ahead of time Foid result was mediocre at best, knew better than to go back for breakfast or any snacks
