Nice hotel. Garage has very low ceilings and worried my SUV with Thule carrier would not fit. It fit, but barely. Would go back with family. Beds not real comfortable. Great view.

Room was nice and clean, beds were comfy, and check-in was easy. Unfortunately, the attached parking garage is not big enough for a truck and we did some damage to our vehicle (but that's on us). Just a warning, steer clear of the garage with a 2500. Otherwise, it was a nice stay!

Great hotel amazing ocean views. Very clean. Only one thing is only 2 elevators that are very very slow. So if you’re on the top floors you’ll be waiting a while. Otherwise fantastic stay!

Very well located. We walked to our concert at the dome Bed was very hard and had several dips that made it uncomfortable. Pool is small no windows and water very cold. Walk in shower got water everywhere on floor.

Hotel with 8 floors, right on the boardwalk, right on the beach. Always one of the two elevators being worked on so I didn't feel safe riding the elevator but had no choice, staying on the 8th floor. I couldn't even park my car on the 8th floor, it was blocked off. I had to park on floor 5, come into the hotel, get on the elevator and ride up to 8, a lot of wasted time. Even the supervisor at the front desk said the elevator was fine but maintenance told me otherwise. There was a small foot shower outside, off the beach to rinse off but people seemed to go right into the hotel pool inside, so it was full of sand, GROSS! We couldn't even use the pool. No water in the hotel, I had to melt ice. Only coffee and hot water available. Rooms were fine, soft beds. Shower pressure was okay but didn't seem to drain the best. Breakfast was basic.

The room was very nice. The view of the beach and the location were excellent. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. We dropped a star off because the carpet was very dirty. Walking across the rug barefooted when we got there, we found after about 15 minutes that our feet were black like we had been walking on blacktop. We wore shoes whenever we were in the room after that. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

Our room the bed had a hole on the right side. When I asked if I could get it changed I was told I will see what I can do. And nothing was done. The bathroom I saw a roach in there. The sheets on the bed were stained with something yellow. On the site it says you provide cribs if asked and when I asked I was given a playpen because that’s all you had. The bathroom looked old and so did the room. The one thing I did like was the girl who checked me out she was so nice.

So I’ll start off by saying that if you’re just looking for a spot that’s oceanfront and affordable and semi- descent with free breakfast, this is it. But let me tell you how everything was breaking apart on us and the housekeeping was just subpar. 1. Our balcony was filled with water from the ac unit above and from ours. This wasn’t an overnight problem, this is a problem that’s continuing and they keep booking the room. We had to call maintenance several times because we could barely use our balcony without stepping into puddles of water. A balcony we paid extra for. We had to use up all our towels to soak it up. Finally they placed a foil tray to catch the water and we practically had to empty it every few hours. Talk about working on your vacation and barely relaxing. The leak above was never fixed so it was practically raining on our balcony everyday. Next, we needed towels everfyday so I told housekeeping we need daily towels, this required several calls until we finally got them. They also don’t service your room until the third day, I made sure my Do Not Disturb sign was taken off and I called the front desk before I left to confirm. Nothing. Came back to a dirty room and mind you, we are staying 7 days with 3 little kids. So I had to wait another day, in which they tried to come super early rushing us out of our room. We enjoyed a clean room for two more nights basically. Lastly, the shower bar was broken and the loose screw fell down and my 1 year old almost ate it.

Stayed Friday to Sunday. The hotel was clean and every time you looked around, someone was cleaning. Bed was very comfortable and staff was very nice. We did have an issue in our room where the rug was very wet. When I contacted housekeeping, they immediately contacted maintenance who came and looked at the issue. Because they couldn’t resolve right then, they changed our room right away. We would definitely come back.

Very clean and roomy accommodations. Great view of the ocean and right on the boardwalk. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking and breakfast were both complimentary. Breakfast was good and you can park your car on the floor you are staying on and walk right through to your room it was a great stay.

It was a nice property with friendly staff and a great view of the ocean. The breakfast was good and offered several choices. Our room was concerning. Our sliding glass door was hard to open and close. Our balcony rail was unsafe because of a bolt not secured to wall. Microwave in our room did not work. Toilet handle needed to be held down for several minutes to flush. The staff was wonderful and the room was clean. But for what we paid I expected a working room

pool needs a huge over haul. room service comes once every few days so you need to go to the front desk to ask for essentials. wifi is not existant. wifi service keeps dropping and they tell you to call a 800 number to have it fixed. calling the number does nothing. i complained to the fromt desk and was told maybe you are too far from the router. wifi dropped no matter where you were in the hotel. will not book again

An excellent hotel at Virginia Beach. The beach wasn’t crowded like other parts. Plenty of parking and great access to dining options. Very clean rooms and the best hotel beds and pillows we’ve ever had! Will definitely book here again.

I have stayed here before, but the recent room renovations make a big difference the updates are modern, clean, and comfortable while still keeping that cozy beach charm. A special shoutout to Wendy at the front desk who continues to go above and beyond. She is professional, personable, and genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome. She has helped me during several visits, and her consistent kindness and professionalism truly stand out. The oceanfront view, great service, and refreshed rooms make this my go-to hotel at the beach. I have already planned my next visits and look forward to staying here again soon!

I am leaving this review to share a deeply troubling experience I had while attempting to cancel my booking due to the sudden death of a close family member. Understandably, this was an incredibly difficult time for me, and the last thing I expected was to be asked to provide pictures of my deceased relative as proof of this personal tragedy. Michelle from the hotel insisted on this insensitive and inappropriate request, which added unnecessary stress and discomfort during a moment of grieving. While I understand the need for documentation in some cases, requesting photos of a deceased loved one crosses a boundary of common decency and respect. I informed expedia agent who was very helpful in trying to communicate with the staff that I was not in a position to provide such proof and explained that official documents would only be available at a later time as the death literally just occurred. Despite this, I was pressured for photos, which I found utterly disturbing. I am sharing this review not out of spite but to ensure that no other customer has to endure such an insensitive and humiliating request. I hope the hotel revisits its policies around cancellations due to bereavement, ensuring compassion and empathy drive their process rather than rigid demands that disregard the human element of these situations. Please, consider this feedback seriously and treat your guests with the kindness and respect everyone deserves during their most vulnerable moments.

It was our first time to Virginia Beach. This hotel was in a great location. We walked plenty of places. The room was clean and seemed updated. The view of the beach from our balcony was top notch. Tons of shops. The pool area was NOT humid and unbearable like most indoor pools. The parking garage turn was off the main street so it made it easier to get in and out. We did go in the "off" season and their parking garage was a little tight for my full size SUV but it worked for the amount of people there at the time. Breakfast had a nice selection. The dining area was a little small and the hours are short (hard to squeeze in breakfast with littles that early) but it works for the hotel. Would definitely stay again though.

It was really nice! The staff were all friendy. We were on the first floor and there was a bright light on the patio which helped me feel a little safer. The location on the boardwalk was nice and close to the pier. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 days for the Point Break festival. We were able to walk to and from the festival and loved being right on boardwalk and ocean front. Our room was nice, very clean and the bed was actually comfortable. Housekeeping came each morning and all staff were helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was good and it was nice to have easy parking in the attached garage. We didn’t bring kids on this trip but it seemed like a family friendly place to stay. We would definitely book here again in the future.

The beach right in front of the hotel was being renewed and not available. They worked late nights and early mornings so the noise of equipment either kept you up or woke you up. The hotel was great and right on the boardwalk. You could easily walk to most anywhere that you wanted to go. The desk did mention that more than likely in the near future that they would be charging for parking. They said that every place in the area was going to be headed in this direction.

Breakfast was very good with choices of eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels, milk, OJ, apple juice, coffee (coffee available all day in the lobby, too). There was a waffle station line with 4 waffle makers, which made it easier to navigate during the breakfast rush. At least two staff were at breakfast area restocking, as needed. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I could watch the sunrise from my bed if I chose to. Hotel was recently updated, and looks fantastic! Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Breakfast okay. Closing breakfast at 9am was to early for me. Kids like to sleep and wake them up early for breakfast was hard. Also breakfast area get very crowded 830-9am. Parking was 10 $ a day.

We had a great stay in the "shoulder" season. I\'m sure it\'s a packed hotel during the summer - it\'s a great location and good amenities. The breakfast was the one negative. It wouldn\'t be hard to make it quite a bit better, but it really was pretty bad, so we didn\'t eat there past the first morning. But there are lots of great breakfast options nearby, so it was fine. The beds were comfortable, the room was great, the staff was very nice and helpful. We\'d be happy to stay there again!
