The Atrium Resort, Virginia Beach by Vacatia

Very large hotel suite included a large living room space, small galley kitchen, big bathroom, and large bedroom. The place is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, a pharmacy, and amusements. And for an off-season room, it was unbelievably cheap compared to other hotels nearby. Parking is a mix of covered and not. The lot is small and they don’t offer overflow parking, so take into consideration that it’s one pass per room for the lot. The pool is a good size, though located in the middle of the lobby. Just keep in mind, it might get noisy. There is no breakfast, but a coffee maker running on limited hours. And I would have loved less floppier pillows in the bed, and conditioner and better water pressure in the bathroom. Otherwise, I very much enjoyed my stay.

The room was clean . The reception staff were pleasant, helpful and personable. Parking might be an issue peak season. No restaurant on property but many nearby. 3 block walk to beach. Pool noise echoes throughout the hotel. Possible that all rooms are efficiency. Living room with tv, pullout sofabed, kitchenette, micro, fridge, cooktop, dishwasher.

The unit is just right for couples or families, with a nice kitchenette. The location is convenient to multiple dining options within walking distance. WiFi service was good. During our stay the hot tub was out of service due to an electrical problem, but that didn't stop the kiddos from enjoying the indoor pool.

parking was safe and easy. our need has dirty sheets on it.
