Why this property would choose to put a locked barrier on the end of the parking lot where they know map apps send you and which would be easier and safer to use as an entrance, is a mystery. When I brought it up at check-in I just got a shrug, not an explanation. I believe they're updating their facility. The rooms are fine, with good beds and new furniture. The hall carpeting is so warn it's nearly dangerous. The air conditioner was noisy. Other than being difficult to get into and out of from Anacortes, this motel is worth the price, which was reasonable.

Some of the furniture in the room was well-worn and the bathroom needed an air freshener. However, everything else was lovely! The beds were comfortable, staff was kind and helpful, and the location was convenient. I stayed in one of the rooms at the back side, facing the hills which gave a feeling of seclusion despite the traffic nearby. I will definitely stay there again in the future and will recommend!

Staff was lazy- “security” guy was so bad- asked to get some ice and huffed and attitude was beyond noticeable (I must have interrupted him on his phone”. Lady in the morning was watching tv on sofas and literally waited for a commercial before getting up to assist (we needed more towels). Our room is in dire need of fixes- mould shower curtain, toilet doesn’t drain proper or fill, moisture has ruined baseboards and paint, hair dryer couldn’t hang on the wall so whole unit was just laying on top of closet, ironing board had no cover so it was a metal board, water stains in sink and leaking everywhere due to shower curtain hanger not being stable and falling (needs anchoring properly).

A very nice place to stay. The owners went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Very nice room,we had the forest room. Breakfast was excellent, served on the patio.
