Booked through Expedia, continental breakfast on website said served 7-11am but was had a sign at desk stating 9-10am buffet. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, the mattress had an enormous sag in the middle. Lighting was terrible as well. Only good thing was the selection of tv channels. Thats if the tv worked. Had to move tooms because the tv stopped working 15 minutes into our stay. Hot tub was also good.

Nice and clean, very friendly staff, convenient location, snack bar with beer on tap and wine was nice. Hot tub was broken and not disclosed ahead of time. Continental breakfast had not much to offer. Overall a nice place for our one night stay.

The hotel is immaculate and very well designed with a great gym and whirlpool. If you like staying at super clean, European-style new construction with strong attention to the details in your room, this is absolutely the place. The bedding, sheets, and towels are luxurious. An incredible, almost hard to believe value. I would recommend to anyone and everyone, even my friends who aren't on a budget! Worth the drive from Interstate 5 (maybe 25 minutes) if you want an awesome hotel as you travel to and from the US/Canada border.

Room was small, but clean. The hot tub was very nice! The carpet in the hallway stank. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were awful! The parking lot was super small and additional parking was inconvenient to park our truck.

The shower floor we had to put a towel down to step in there. It was dirty black. Deck had bird droppings all over it we had to ask to clean it. The dishwasher had not been run when we checked in and there was no soap to run it. Stingy with towels. 2 of us and 2 towels. Breakfast very limited hours, during weekday 9-10am, and little to no food options. One gal at front desk not helpful at all. Santos was helpful.

The building is new and in good condition. The room was not as clean as I had hoped. There were potato chips on the carpet and a stain on the sheet next to the pillow (luckily there were two beds so I didn't have to sleep in that one). The room was quiet. I didn't eat the breakfast but I did want hot water for my tea and I could not find a hot water thermos, or a staff person, anywhere. The breakfast appeared to be bagels, cereal, and yogurt.

This was a great place. Have been before, when was newly built. They were clean and friendly. However this last stay has us thinking of trying another place nearby next time we’re visiting the area. We got there 1.5hr before check in and asked if room was ready. She said it was and then scolded us saying do not try to check in early again. We were trying to get belongings out of car for safer parking at trailheads. Then once in room, floor was sticky, like gross shoes making noises sticky in front of fridge and microwave and in bathroom. So I had to get a washcloth wet and scrub the entire flooring area. Let me just say, the disgusting color of the white rag after that made me believe it wasn’t clean anywhere. Then the coffee maker had a used cartridge in it and tasted awful anyways due to never being cleaned properly. Overall very disappointing in what used to be a nice place to stay. We wanted to try the hot-tub but after seeing the lack of cleanliness in the room we thought better of it. Just tried to sleep and get out early in am.

The receptionist was very friendly. Unfortunately that was the only positive. My bed was FILTHY. So much hair in the bed I would think a dog may have slept in it. The tub was plugged and filled up right away so I couldn’t even shower. Hair in the sink as well.

Nice, clean, newer hotel. The mattress and sheets were not very comfortable. It has a view, but its looking over and odd collection of houses, apartment buildings and industrial area. Overall, its a good location as a springboard to explore the area.

Very nice. Very new. Very modern. Room was on the small size but very well appointed. I was in room 202. My head was just inches from the elevator shaft. Woke me up every time the elevator went by. I will definitely stay there next time - just not in room 202.

Ok place to stay. Not much around as it’s on the outskirts of downtown. Our room was right beside the elevator which made a horrible loud buzzing sound every time it was in use. Newer building, everything was clean. Fine for a nights stay.

Paid extra for water view and got a view of an apartment with sliver of water off to the side. Since I was put on the second floor all I could see was run down back of what looked like a four unit apartment and they could see right into our room with shades open.

Read earlier reviews. They appear correct. No staffing around the clock. Front desk 9-9. Need something after hours, no one to ask. Other than a hotel in Amsterdam, this was the smallest room I've seen. I had to leave the luggage cart in the hall to unload the cart. King bed, nice, filled almost the entire room.and very difficult to walk around. 12" between bed and AC. Rodney Dangerfield said it best " room was so small, i had to go outside to change my mind" Way overpriced for what you almost get!

This is probably the newest hotel in town. Rooms were clean and fine for a couple. If you have kids, it might be tight. Not a bad place to stay and close to everything. No great views.

Overall, I would say that this was a pretty nice place, clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did have problems getting the Roku TV to work, but the staff provided a suitable remote that did the job. One nightstand had a drawer that would not stay shut, and the water pressure in the toilet was insufficient to clear anything more solid than toilet paper.

A great value for your money! Rooms are on the smaller side but have a modern layout and design. They are clean, in great shape, and include everything needed for a comfortable nights stay. The property is newer, easy to get to, and offers free parking. Within walking or short driving distance to many dining and entertainment options. We will continue to choose this hotel when overnighting in Anacortes.

Convenient location for the ferries to the islands. Easy check in. Clean rooms and clean property. The AC unit was pretty loud and cycled on and off all night. The bed was too soft for my liking. However, overall it is a nice place to stay.

It was a strange experience! We arrived just after 9:00pm and had to get our room key from a lock box because the front desk was closed. The hot tub closed at 9:00pm and there was no one around but other guests wondering the same thing as us! The room was nice but very small and the bed was comfortable although too soft for my liking. The sheets wouldn’t stay on which was frustrating. We went to get breakfast at 9:00am and there still was no one around. I gave it 3 stars because the lack of any staff of any kind was strange.

Our room was comfortable, the hallways were dingy with some areas blocked off with tape. The staff was not particularly friendly and not present much of the time. The continental breakfast had very very little to choose from and simple things like salt and pepper and utensils were not Readily available. A major complaint regarding breakfast was that most days it didn’t start before 9 AM. It was somewhat disconcerting that there was no staff present after 9 PM. On the positive side, our room was clean and comfortable.

The property was new and clean. But there was absolutely no one available to wait on us. The only way you could get someone at the front desk for us to ring the bell and you had to wait quite a long time for someone to come. The breakfast was poor.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. We have never had such an awful experience. We arrived at 3pm to check in. The girl at the front desk, without greeting us, informed us that if we were checking in we would have to come back at 4pm. That is crazy late check in. We were in the area to have dinner with family. We asked if early check in was possible so we could leave our bags. She told us no, without even looking to see if there was availability. She didn't offer to store our bags. Her tone was outright rude. When we got to our car, we decided to call the manager and speak with them. She answered and said he was out, would not tell us when he would return, or if he would return, and when we asked her first name, she would not give it to us. Never have we ever had such horribly rude and unprofessional service. Stay away from this place!!!

Staff didn't seem to be appreciative that I was there. It was also concerning that there is no staff on property after hours, emergency stairs were closed for some reason (safety) and the breakfast service was from 9:00am to 10:30am - why bother at all.

This property is in a convenient location and has seen some recent updates. My room was moderately clean, though certain areas could have been cleaner. It was also surprisingly small—smaller than the average hotel rooms I’ve stayed in before. We stayed for three nights and placed the service sign on our door each day, but unfortunately, the room was never cleaned and toiletries were not replenished. I also had trouble reaching anyone at the front desk when we needed help unclogging the toilet in the morning during regular business hours. In fact, it was rare to see any staff at the front desk throughout our stay. Overall, while the location is a plus, the lack of service and responsiveness would make me hesitant to return.

We were arriving late and the staff called to see if we would arrive before the desk was closed and how to enter if we arrived late. The breakfast was satisfactory, but could have been better. Close to downtown and lots of restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.

Check in was frustrating. I just happened to see last minute that check in is only until 9pm. I called ahead and it got handled (lock box with keys on grounds). But the property itself was immaculate. Beautiful rooms, very clean and conveniently located. We just needed a quick overnight spot so we could catch the early ferry and this fit the bill.

The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. However, you could hear people talking in the rooms next to ours. The breakfast was all cold foods except if you make toast. The breakfast room lacked napkins, paper plates, coffee was empty, no knives for spreading the butter, and the counters were dirty. There wasn’t anyone at the front desk to ask for these items or the coffee to be refilled. A young man who was cleaning finally asked if we needed something and acted very put off when I asked for coffee & napkins. I would not stay here again based on the price vs value.

We picked this property because it seemed clean and modern and it was exactly that. It's not fancy but it's not low rent either. The staff is fine, but it's not a 24/7 desk, so if you come in after hours, you will have to pick up your key outside in a drop box designated specifically for you and you'll get an email telling you how to get your keycard. The continental breakfast is severely disappointing (ie: you main entree options are boiled eggs or a packaged madeleine cookie, lol) that has the typical yogurt, toast, cereal, and coffee options. It's very sparing so if that's important to you, get breakfast somewhere else. Other than that, this is a clean, safe place to stay and if you have a whaling excursion, you're either 5 minutes away or 15 mins away, so it's easy enough to get around.

Breakfast was terrible. Cold cereal, a few toast options, yogurt. No response to email query, and front desk agent (male) was curt on the phone. The young lady at the desk was very polite and helpful. No dining is available and the "wine bar" is simply what's available at the front desk. Very small hotel... the room itself was great. HUGE bed, comfortable, very clean, Keurig, TV with all channels, microwave and fridge. Hotel is within a 2 minute drive to Safeway and businesses.

A few things to note, you can’t check in early or check out late at least that’s what we were told. There is no pool it’s a hot tub. The “continental breakfast” is cereal and toast. The sign on the door says the breakfast runs from 7am to 9am. We showed up at 7 with no one around. Another family came down and they called to be told the front desk person was “running late”. A woman finally arrived at 7:40 ish and showed us to the cereal and old bread. The floors and tables were dirty, no coffee, we had to wait for her to “make it”. My husband came down after for breakfast at 9:10, I get it the hours posted were only until 9 expecting it to still be open since they were late and it wasn’t with no budging on the time. The parking lot is small so get there early enough for you to be lucky to get a space. For $268 a night for a “luxury suite” my expectations were much higher, you don’t get what you pay for. Keep searching as I should have, there are better options in the area for less!
