Executive Hotel Pacific draws consistent praise for its walkable downtown location, but reviews repeatedly note compact, older rooms with thin walls and street noise, along with mixed service experiences that range from friendly and helpful to understaffed and impersonal.

Just booked for one night and it was a pleasant stay. Booked a king bed. Room was clean and tidy, room was cooled perfectly and the staff were great. Opted for the early check in ($25) and was worth it. Also we chose to do the continental breakfast and you get a small selection at the Pacific Cafe (which was very tasty). Overall, great quick stay and would book again.

This was an excellent, centrally located location for a one-night weekend stay. We got lucky with street parking and since it was free from 6pm Saturday thru Sunday, we only paid a couple bucks. The room was tiny but for one night it was fine - it was clean and well kept but there was a worrying bulge in the bathroom ceiling paint, like a 14-18 inch across water balloon ready to burst, probably a leak from the floor above. Thankfully it didn’t come down on us and staff was nice when we informed them in the morning (we hadn’t seen it on check-in). Would give this place another go, as we got a quite reasonable rate.

Figuring out parking was a little bit confusing because when you e-check in they don’t give you parking instructions. One person was VERY helpful and answered the phone when we called, one didn’t really answer but she helped when we got to the front desk. Close to the pier. It was also very clean.

The room and bathroom are much smaller than the pictures made it look. The door to the bathroom is glass so if someone turns on the light at night, even with the door closed, it lights up the whole room. There is also no fan in the bathroom and very little space to put items. The parking that we paid $45 extra for was not even on site, rather across the street and down the hill from the hotel, which was not easy for carrying bags back and forth. Overall I was disappointed in how outdated and small the hotel was for the price. One positive is that even though we could not check in early, they allowed us to park at the hotel early while we went to a game. Staff were also friendly.

The hotel had AC issues and I wished they would have told us that before checking us in and I think it would have been fair if they would have given us the opportunity to go somewhere else since they had AC issues. Instead, they didn’t informed us the situation until after checking in, with just a note left in our room. We had to sleep with the windows open and the night street sounds and sirens were blaring throughout the night. None one in our party was able to sleep that night. It was THE worst stay I ever had at any of my hotel.com reservations. I am not even gonna go into details about the poor communication from the hotel about the parking process. BTW, when you make me pay $45 for parking, stop calling it “free parking”. In short, my experience here was pretty bad. I will never stay here again.
