The pool was closed the breakfast was nothing explained away they just he’s a bunch of “workers” leave the whole place is old and worn with no effort to improve we had booked three nights and left after one the only reason we picked it was they had a room with a whirlpool I did not expect much because of the price and should have known better

No hot tub, which has been unavailable for 3 months! The facility needs a definite upgrade! Breakfast was a total disappointment. The most wonderful thing of the visit was the front clerk person, Laurie!!! She was VERY friendly & helpful!!! She made the whole experience bareable!!!

The hotel has a run down and grubby appearance. There was no one to check us in and we waited then staff appeared with another guest they had to help first. All said it was about 10 minutes wait, also the guest was cancelling their reservation. I thought about trying to cancel too because it was apparent this is a poorly kept hotel. The whirlpool was closed, there was a stagnant gross smell in the hallway, we were checked in and then informed, oh the rooms are in the 2nd floor but there is no elevator. That should be shared first in case someone isn’t going to be able to drag suitcases up a flight of stairs. This trip was a birthday celebration for my daughter and I regret booking this hotel as it was a downer.

Needs some help. Rear exterior door lock not function. Anyone could walk in. Stairway fire door blocked to prevent closing. Garbage by the back entry door. But the A/C worked. Thought Wyndham ment something.

The staff were very nice, our room was outdated but clean. Two things that were a little upsetting, it smelt like someone was smoking cigars inside on the 2nd floor and the hot tub was out of order.

This motel is disgusting. It has zero to offer except the location to the near by attractions. The motel and specially the rooms are DIRTY and out dated. It smells like cigarettes. The outside area is filled with trash. Definitely one of the worse places I have stay at. Never again at this place.

The front desk person was very professional, helpful, and nice. From there, things went downhill fast. The carpets in the hallway and room were recent, but had not been cleaned (or even vacuumed) recently. The vanity and sink in the room had been recently replaced, and were nice, but the walls in toilet and shower room had rot in multiple places that were unrepaired and the fixtures and lighting was old and dated. The blankets on the beds were newer (like in the pictures) but had stains and looks like they hadn’t been cleaned. Same with the upholstery on the one chair in the room. Sheets and pillow cases seemed freshly cleaned. A/C was strong and worked well.

I wasn't impressed with the cleanness of this hotel. The steps going upstairs were dirty and needed vacuum badly. The furniture was dusty. Toilet seat was very loose.

The property was dirty, poorly maintained, garbage and weeds all over the parking lot. The bed was rock hard and I could not sleep on it. The mirror and frig door had finger prints all over it. The lounge chair in the room was stained with, it looked like body fluids!!!!!The hallways and stairway were dirty, chipped wood and paint all over. The dresser had broken drawers on it that would not close!!! The manager just shook her head and laughed when I was telling her about my stay😡😡. I will never stay in another Super 8 again!!!

Safe didn't work. Room was not very clean and it smelled like cigarettes. Had to fix freezer door. Bathtub leaks. Toilet was not clean. Mold around caulking and mold in air conditioner filters. Staff was very friendly and very nice to my dog. It was a little sketchy as far as some of the other guests. They must have people renting there long term. The police were there once for some kind of dispute. Vending machines app didn't work ..side door entry card swipe didn't work. And staff did not know how to get the fire TV to allow streaming on apps. I checked out online and was given the option to check out at noon, but then the front desk called me at a bit after eleven and explained to me that I was supposed to leave at 11, even tho I was given the choice of noon online so I had to rush out of there unexpectedly as I was not ready.

The place is very old and run down. The furnature is vey scratched up and old. The microwave wouldnt open so i had to leave my food in there all night until for some reason it finally opend the next morning. Bed was clean but very uncomfortable and pillows gave me a really bad tensions headache.The only saving grace was the jet bathtub that was great.

sink was plugged, Toilet was dirty, they took care of it. Refrigerator froze our food. Not much of a breakfast. The staff were nice when we reported issues. The bed was clean. The hall doors slammed on there own. So loud at times.

There was no one available at the front desk and when they did show up, he/she was not very friendly. The light in the bathroom did not work nor did the TV remote control. Another employee, who was very nice, did try to correct the problem but was unable to do so. We had to move to a different room. The employee said it was an upgrade due to the king size bed.

woke up at 2am to water leak from the toilet. Used towels to clean up the water and shut off the water supply to stop the leaking. Told the front desk the next morning. We were not given any new, clean towels to replace the ones we used to sop up the mess. It would have been appreciated if Super 8 would have comped the 2nd night for our inconvenience but they wouldn't do that. Not getting clean towels was the nail in the coffin. Would not go there again.

Two days, checked in Friday, asked to sign confirming we would not smoke in the room; room next door was smoking, smelled it in the hallway and in the room. Woke up Sat, no electricity; back late, no one checked the room/smoke detectors/clocks, beds not made etc. Called front desk about smoking and housekeeping, told they only had housekeeping 3 days per week; not told this when we checked in. Fridge, coffee maker, lamps all plugged into a serge protector visible in the room, looked dangerous. Nothing said to use about no power...very unsafe and staff on Saturday was rude and did not care. Filed complaint with Windam; received an email but nothing else...won't be staying with this company again...beware. One of the worst motels I've ever experienced.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was TERRIBLE. The day staff was unprofessional and not hospitable at all. The staff and TV in the breakfast area was so loud I took my coffee and book to my car. The breakfast was very minimal which was expected for a Super 8, but I went down to the breakfast area and an hour later my daughter went down and nothing had been replenished. Then the day staff was complaining about the request that I put on the Expedia reservation for a roll away bed. She said that she could not believe we put that request since we had four people in a two queen size room. My daughter told her that it was our room and we never got the roll away. She should not have questioned my request. The reason for my request was that my 14 year old grandson was in our room and he should not have to sleep with his Grandma, aunt or Mom. Then when we left my daughter dropped off the key at the front desk, waited for staff to acknowledge that we were checking out and the desk staff asked if she needed anything. We all agreed we would NEVER stay in this $*#@hole again!

Located close to House on the Rock & Cave of the Mounds. For some reason I thought there was a pool, so that was a disappointment. The whirlpool/hot tub would have been a substitute but it was out of commission. Nothing fancy but everything we needed.

If all you're looking for is a good clean place to stay, this Super 8 is alright. Bed is a bit lacking but for a few nights it was comfortable enough. The furniture is servicable but definitely been bumped around. I definately just need a place to sleep, not to impress and this place was just fine. Nice and quiet too. No loud street traffic. The shower was great, good water pressure, nice shower head. Cant tell you about the pillows, I bring my own. A/C worked good. Nice cafe to eat at , easy to walk to, on the corner. Jacuzzi was closed first few days, but did open . We did enjoy it. We didnt use the fitness room, nor did we have their breakfast. Desk clerk, Marsha offered suggestions on local dining, which was really nice and we did enjoy eating at : Bobs Bitchin BBQ, Dino's Bar & Grill, Ope Haus in Barneveld, and the Cafe on the corner from the motel.

The room cost more than our much better hotel room in Branson, MO. and was not as nice. Hot tub was not in working condition, so it should not have been advertised, and there was no breakfast also as advertised on the website. Will not be staying there again.
