This was confusing to me since I had already prepaid for the room. When I asked for clarification, her explanation was unclear and came across with noticeable attitude. I calmly asked her to explain it more clearly, as I simply wanted to understand the charge. Eventually, she clarified it was a standard deposit, and I paid it. After receiving my room key, I went upstairs only to find that it didn’t work. I had to return to the front desk, where I was then reassigned to a different room due to what I was told was a battery issue. Overall, the interaction felt unwelcoming and unnecessarily frustrating. A more patient and professional approach would have made a significant difference in the experience. Additionally, it was disappointing that the coffee bar was not open at 8 AM, which felt like a missed basic amenity for guests starting their day.
