Check in was very quick and easy as was checking out. Plenty of food and shopping nearby in addition to the bar and restaurant on the property. Did not have time to try the pool or hot tub but it looked good.

The pool was great. The only problem was that there is no elevator. The last time that I was there, I was on the second floor. It was hard to make it up the stairs. No one said that there was no elevator when I checked in. This time I had a first floor room. The breakfast was great.

Hot tub was NOT hot at all. And chlorine smelled so strong it was burning everyone’s eyes!! And bleached our bathing suits. The whole reason we picked this hotel was for the pool and hot tub. We come to this area a lot, next time we will pick a different hotel.

The room was dingy and musty smelling. There was mold on the bed skirts. Pubic hair still in the bathroom. Staff was not helpful when asked for more towels and rags. Parking is horrible. Place smelled of pot.

We checked got our room key for room 113 and the moment we get to the room my husband goes to the bathroom and there were roaches in the tub. We went right back to the front desk and the young lady did switch our room. After that I was on edge wondering if I would see any more bugs. The new room was more updated but I still didn’t feel comfortable like I wanted to.

The website advertised an updated/remodeled facility but we were put in a room that had not been updated yet. It was dirty (dirt on the comforter) and there was mold in the bathroom. I didn’t even want to take my shoes off because I felt like it was gross. We will not be staying again due to this. The staff was friendly.

The 2-queen bedroom was very clean and specious. Everything worked as it should. Bathroom was nice and large as well. And service was great. We weren’t impressed with the temperature of the hot tub (not hot enough) and ended coming back to the room sooner than planned. The tv channel selection was very limited at only a few movie channels available. The breakfast had a good variety though and was good. Overall a good experience. We would stay again!

We were beyond disappointed with our stay at this Comfort Inn. It is not up to the typical standards we have come to expect free m a Comfort Inn. The room appeared clean enough, but the bathroom is terribly small. We chose this hotel specifically because it had a hot tub. However the hot tub felt like lukewarm bath water. Booked for two nights but checked out early and headed to the Hampton down the road in Washington PA. Much better accommodations. Do not recommend this hotel.

Building and rooms are all very old. Needs a refresh badly. Old carpet and the shower rod was falling off the wall and the curtain would fall to the center of the rod and the floor was covered with water. Comfortable bed though. Hot tub did not work at the pool looked dirty.

Overall, the hotel is clean and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was the usual basic fare, and could use a good dose of originality. There were cigarette burns on the bedding. The room was clean, but had a slight, musty odor. The price is fair for what you get, and I would stay again. The main issue I had with the hotel was with check-in. We checked in after 10 pm, and were dead tired after 14 hours of driving. The clerk proceeded to lecture me about the evils of booking through a third party, (like Hotels.com) and he was training a new clerk at the same time. We stood there for at least 10 minutes through the lecture and the training. How I choose to book my hotel is none of his business, and I felt he was incredibly rude. There was no courtesy in his voice, no thank you for staying with us, no sorry for your wait. It felt like he was inconvenienced by us, and impatient. The trainee was nicely trying to direct us to our room, when the clerk interrupted by shoving a room map at me, and declared we should just use the map.

Toilet kept backing up. Hot water took a while to reach our room. Food was a bit undercooked. Checkout was 11am but at 10 am the key cards turned off. The morning desk person argued about why we needed our keycard reset while we were loading out of the room. We had to get the manager involved just to get the rest of our stuff.

Upon check in we were given wrong room. The second room we were given was not clean. Toiletries from previous guest and food was left in room. Were told they upgraded our room upon third try for inconveniences but, it was the room we had originally booked anyhow. LOL .Our key was deactivated our second stay and we had difficulties getting a new one activated. Aside from the dirty second room, premise was clean and food was decent. Front desk could use retraining and better communication skills. The gentleman was pleasant but the other workers seemed annoyed by having to fix mistakes made by staff.

During our stay, we asked not to receive housekeeping services, as we didn’t want anyone to enter our rooms. One morning we asked the housekeeper to please give us towels, she said that she has to wash the currents ones we had first and then give them back to us. I explained that we do not want room service, so how would we get our towels back, she said that she would hang them on the doorknob and we can get it when we come back to the room. Well… that did not happen, she entered our room and brought the towels inside, although we explained to her that we did not want anyone in our room. I felt like our privacy was violated!

Loved it. 5 mins from shopping and restaurants. We only stayed for the short time. Very clean. Fast easy check in and check out. The woman at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. The pool and out door area were amazing. Would definitely stay again!

The property was in need of some repair.. for instance, the light fixture in the bathroom looked as though it was barely hanging on the wall. It looked like it may even be a fire hazard. The room itself was subpar. The breakfast was good though! The staff when I arrived was helpful, but when I left to check out, no one was there to be found and when she finally showed up, I stood there while she was on the phone and waited for another 4 minutes without her ever acknowledging me.

One reason to experience this place would be the desk manager Alex. Top notch. Somehow I had screwed up my Expedia booking (still not sure how) but Alex fixed it. Kudos to him. The property is in need of a serious rehab. It's tired. The bar needs some real beer. And the breakfast? One of the worst ever. The coffee was murky hot water without flavor. The sausages were disgusting. The scrambled eggs were, at least, fluffy! Trying to find a place to park was dicey because of all the semis and trailers in the lot. But thanks to Alex, we got a place to lay our heads for the night

I stayed at this Hotel based on what I read on the internet and the proximity to the interstate and Cabelas. Because of the weather forming back home I had to leave earlier than expected. Close to retail and quality food. Layout inside the hotel was a little confusing because of the dining area being a cut through to rooms.

Cons- worn and dated, carpeted room had stains on carpet, shower was only Luke warm, truck drivers use alot of the parking lot. Pros- pool are was nice, close to shopping, 15 mins to light experience at oglebay, Continental breakfast was mediocre at best With that being said room was.less than $100 with taxes for the night. I'd say I got what I payed for. But, easily could be much nicer with a little elbow grease.

Front desk decided to fold papers instead of greeting guests so it longer than it should have. They use liquid coffee in the breakfast bar area. STAY AWAY! Even what's in the room is better and that's not saying much. Chose not even to attempt the breakfast for that reason. Great rate! Not too bad for very old hotel that needs a lot of work. I won't be back.

Very outdated and needs updated. Carpeting throughout is very dirty. Breakfast hours were 6 am to 9 am on a Sunday and when arrived for breakfast about 25 people came for breakfast and food was gone and when asked indicated it was 8:50 am now and breakfast ends at 9 am and she was not putting out more, however, she had time to go get a coffee and chat with front desk staff. I will never stay at this facility again. People gathered smoking at side entrance and two police vehicles were there when we came back from dinner for some type of incident.
