A modern hotel with nice rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is located in the very centre of Schaffhausen and has good breakfast. The only negative was that the room smelled a bit moldy and when I looked into this I found that there was no ventilation at all- only by opening the windows. The service was nice and there is a small (very small) gym. It was easy to park the car just next to the hotel.

Das Einchecken war etwas mühsam. Man weist darauf him, dass ab 15.00 h eingecheckt werden kann. Man ist aber nicht in der Lage ein Zimmer vorzuziehen mit der Reinigung. Die Parkplatz Situation ist unbefriedigend. Ich wäre ja bereit gewesen für den P zu bezahlen. Das geht aber leider nicht. Das Hotel muss als autofeindlich eingestuft werden

Love this property. Friendly staff. Every one. Don’t want to leave out the front desk who helped with directions and language barrier. Restaurant staff was also helpful with food suggestions and very good food. Also the breakfast staff help with accommodating my allergies!! But what’s even better… is at the beginning off our travels. I picked up a cold. Which was easy a few weeks ago. This place has the best sauna and steam room. It has cleared up the cold! Thank you so much.

Nice hotel located on a square. Had a good dinner at the hotel and breakfast was good too. We were cycling up the Rhine. The hotel is near the path and easy to find. Good bike garage with charging for e-bikes. Recommended

The hotel is less than a 4 minute walk from the train station. The old town area around the hotel has lots of shopping and dining options. The facility is very well maintained and neat. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly reasonable and the food was very good. Our only complaint is the noise. The church bells were rather loud and with the windows open we could hear crowd noise below late into the evening. Thank you for the ear plugs. We would definitely stay there again.

We were traveling with a large group and booked the 4 suites offered at the hotel. The suites were fantastically unique, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had an amazing 2-night stay and enjoyed exploring Schaffhausen with Hotel Kronenhof as our home base. The included breakfast was a nice touch, and we also had the opportunity to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. I ordered the filet and it was fantastic. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

It will be helpful for others to know this hotel DOES NOT have air conditioning. They put a fan in the room. Also does not have coffee in the room or a safe. They provided ear plugs because it is a very loud area at night. Lots of loud party people and yelling in addition to the church bells at all hours.

The hotel was comfortable, but I was a bit concerned when we walked in and saw earplugs on the nightstands. We were right next to a church, so the clock did chime during reasonable hours. There was a busy restaurant on the first floor with outdoor dining. In the evenings, this area could be a bit noisy. They did accommodate us and extend our checkout by an hour so we could visit the Rhinefall.

En el ascensor hay una indicación de las mejores horas para ir al desayuno, lo que es muy conveniente. De todos modos cuanto más temprano esté uno en el comedor, menos gente hay más espacio disponible hay para guardar el debido distanciamiento.
