Superb venue lovely staff. Location second to non. Sandro on the juice trolly is a real asset to the hotel. For any dare devils avoid the slide not as quick as we imagined however a very risky / unsafe climbing wall. We would recommend more mirrors and Matt’s in the gym 2 star quality at best

Beautiful property with freezing pool. The pool swim up bar was closed the whole time. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was a little small, but had a nice view. I would stay here again.

Includes breakfast buffet was incredible with an ocean view. Booked a boat trip via the concierge service to the caves and left and returned to the hotel dock. Staff were warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Was upgraded to a suite upon arrival, room was lovely, very clean, and comfortable. Had a delightful stay and hope to be back!

Hotel is beautiful the room and bathtub wonderful., we loved view amazing.Maid service something to be desired no replenishment on bath mats shower gel body lotion or bar soap. The bed looked un made just throw together. No coffee replenishment. The pillows and bed protector just in a pile. They just stood in the hall with nothing to do. Pool is beautiful breakfast great. So many good things!! Except the room cleaning.

Looked much better on the internet than in real life. We stayed here in a suite during late summer 2023. We had high hopes but were severely disappointed. Pros: 1. Location - ten-minute stroll to the vibrant waterfront / dock area of Hvar. 2. Easy to use wifi (when it worked). 3. Decent (not great) breakfast buffet, Negatives: 1. Dysfunctional rooms with very little storage or shelf space, both in the room and in the bathroom. Our junior suite was smaller than the regular room we’d had at another hotel in Dubrovnik. 2. Old, outdated rooms. Our suite had filthy carpeting, a wobbly couch with stains all over it. 3. Everything seems to cut corners. They leave only 2 bath towels (tiny and so thin that they barely dry a person after a bath or shower) and 2 hand towels. This is not expected for a luxury hotel. Also, they don’t leave you with extra anything (toilet paper, tissues) in the room. So you’d better hope you don’t run out. 4. Service - they just don’t seem happy to work here and it shows. Many of the people (breakfast buffet) are efficient but not customer-friendly. 5. Bedding is hard and not enough pillows or blankets. 6. Cleanliness - there was a dirty band-aid on our floor when we checked in. Gross. 7. Sporadic wifi. 8. Crowded pool - can’t even get in/our of a lounge chair from the side - must climb in from the foot because they are all wedged together. We’d go back to Hvar, but NOT this hotel.

Front desk staff is amazing. We checked in late and they were so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included with our stay and was a full breakfast with lots of variety and everything was so fresh. The pool was Beautiful, refreshing and clean. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The 700 euro pricetag for our junior suite was not justified, bad repairs, mold in the shower and cheap amineties. Room was too low the get a great sea view that we paid for. The staff on the other hand was amazing.

We stayed for four nights at this hotel as part of our trip along the Dalmatian coast. So far this has been the best by a long way. Everything was spotless,excellent location and the breakfast was to die for. The free luggage service too and from the port was another bonus. The only negative was the rooms could have improved soundproofing from the corridor. Some mornings we were awaken by noisy guests going past our door talking loudly having no consideration for fellow guests.

We had an amazing stay at Amfora Hotel in Hvar! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the center but peaceful enough to relax. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, especially overlooking the pool and the sea. The infinity pool area is beautiful and spacious, with great service and plenty of loungers. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of fresh options. Our room was clean, modern, and very comfortable with a balcony view that made every morning feel like a dream. Great location with fantastic sea views. Our penthouse two bedroom suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The “included” breakfast was incredible; selections of virtually anything you would want and delicious. The exterior needs a major refurbishing and the pool is freezing and virtually unusable. But we loved the place.

The rooms were clean and for a small footprint excellent use of space. Loved the decor and our view with a balcony was excellent. The staff was so accommodating and courteous. Superb customer service. You can't beat the location of this hotel and saving the best for last...the breakfast was above and beyond, amazing choices and excellent quality.

The pool area, Reception and Lounge are nice. Unfortunately, the rooms were disappointing. We had specifically booked a room with a balcony as we are 60 years old and like to enjoy sitting out with wine in the evenings on vacations. The view from the balcony of the first room was extremely limited with nothing more than overgrown bushes inches from our faces. We asked to be moved and the staff were quite unaccommodating saying "all Expedia visitors are put on that side of the building". The alternative room they gave us had a balcony but was on the ground floor where there were colonies of feral cats which made it impossible to sit out due to the overwhelming smell of cat-pee. The room itself was "OK" but the A/C was not great and the bathroom floor was like a swamp after every shower. We were very disappointed as this hotel was actually recommended to us by close friends who had had an amazing time there last year.

Amfora was an excellent stay at Hvar. The first day, we requested a room change due to the view we paid for and they were more than accommodating. Any and all service called in was at our door within 15 minutes. The pool area is fantastic. They also bring your luggage to and from the ferry which was amazing. Only a short 10 min walk along the gorgeous coast to the main center. Breakfast buffet was great and the staff so friendly. The pool overlooks the ocean which was gorgeous. There is also a free beach and a luxury beach right next to it which was beautiful. Couldn’t recommend more and truly think it’s the best stay on the island.

There is very limited hotels to stay in Hvar. The staff all seemed tired and not enjoying themselves. Our door handle to our balcony (upgraded room) fell off the first day and was never repaired during our 4 night stay. We told the hotel 3x and they ignored the request.

Terrific resort. My only comment is not great for older people that may have some walking issues. Elevator went places except down to pool so more steps were involved. Beach was great and nice walking promenade past the hotel to some other bars , restaurants and beaches. I would definately pay the extra for the ocean view! Nice path into little town where there is lots of action for 20-30 age group.

It was a stunning hotels with lovely views across the bay. The staff collected your luggage from the ferry (on request) and delivered it to the hotel. It’s a short walk along the front into the picturesque town. Lots of choices for breakfast and good quality food. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The amenities were excellent, the location couldn’t be better, and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding – both in quality and in the breathtaking view that came with it. The only downside was that the room felt quite small, but overall, the experience more than made up for it. Would recommend for anyone looking to enjoy comfort, convenience, and a memorable experience.
