The hotel was lovely - obviously recently done up as everything felt modern. Good selection at breakfast. We were on our honeymoon and they put a bottle of fizz in our room which was a lovely gesture. We only sat by the pool for an hour or so. As it’s in the middle of the building, only some sides get the sun and not a huge amount of space but decent for a city hotel. Easy to get the bus or an uber to and from the hotel in the summer heat. A nice walk down to the old town and would be pleasant in cooler temperatures. Would happily stay again.

Nice location in this charming city. Not far away from the Old Town - 20-25 min walk downhill and uphill when you come back, nice views over the sea and cliffs with vegetation. Comfortable room and bed. Good and variate breakfast with all you need before a long day of adventures. Helpful personnel at the front desk and concierge to guide you with the attractions. You can book trips via the hotel but a bit more expensive than in town. Experienced masseur, not very expensive and nice spa with both jacuzzi and a barrel with cold water at 2 degrees. Both dry and humid sauna. The only minus were some problems with the TV cable connection in my room. I also received a bottle of tasty Croatian red wine Merlot. I would definitely come back.

The hotel is large with dining options and a bar. The bus stop into the Old Town is just across the road and is frequent and inexpensive. It's within the pick up area for most tours. We were picked up for 2 day tours from here and returned to the hotel. The rooms are clean and perhaps a bit small for an extended stay. The bathroom is tiny, but manageable!!!!

The service is good, the condition of the facilities is very good, the breakfast is complete and they have a lot of staff serving the different areas. The pool is also very good with bar service on the hammock or tables. The bus stops both to get to the historic center and to return are quite close to the hotel.

The hotel is fairly modern and is located reasonably close to the marina, but not so the Old Town. Rooms,service etc. are good, however the shower (over bath) was probably the worst design I have experienced. The glass door had a hinge however you had to climb in at the back of the bath treading on the sloping bit at the back to get in & out, as the door didnot swing outwards. The shower head, no matter which position/twisting hose I tried always wanted to point to the back wall passing the glass screen and flooding the floor. There are no facilities for an afternoon/evening check out,you can use the poolside shower and the pool toilet where the floor was both dirty and wet. By the way the pool area is far too small for the No. of rooms, people constantly waiting for sunbeds. For a hotel supposed to be 5 star, would have expected a room to freshen up/change especially in the present heat. When informing reception about the safety of getting in and out of shower he said yes it's not the best is it. Dissapointing for money paid

Stayed at Hotel Lero for 4 nights and highly recommend it. Although located outside the Old City, the hotel is adjacent to a public bus stop with buses going directly to Pile Gate. Rooms were comfortable, large, clean and equipped with all the usual amenities. Breakfast buffet had a huge selection of hot and cold items -- something for everyone. Staff (especially the Concierge) were extremely helpful. Very pleased with my stay.

Hotel is just ok. We were told our room on the new side of the hotel, but carpet was old, stained and smelled moldy. The bathroom door was made of glass and when we got up at night, the room lit up. There was no space on the vanity with an over sized sink that spewed water on the mirror. The restaurant was great with nightly entertainment. Overall stay was fine.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Frühstück war vielfälltig und das Abendessen war top. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und konnte über alles Auskunft geben. Der Bus fährt regelmässig vom Hotel in die Altstadt, diese ist aber auch gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist, ist dass die Zimmer etwas ringhörig waren und die Nasszelle suberer hätte sein können.

Excellent hotel, very clean and tidy. Very understanding and professional staff. The manager allowed us a later checkout which was very kind of him. The pool is also very nice and clean. The breakfast is top quality and plenty of options. Highly recommend this hotel if ever visiting Dubrovnik

The location is excellent! The room is nice clean but the bathroom is dated & needs more cleaning to remove small traces of mold. Towels are really thin and old! Their soap dispenser is hard to squeeze and dispense considering that we saw a lot of old people staying who may struggled. Im sure women wished they had a separate shampoo & conditioner and not an all-in-one. They should also improve on the box breakfast to go at least at par with what they serve at the breakfast buffet which was pretty good. The lobby smells really nice and fresh but the rooms are not.

Good stay. Rooms are large but pretty basic, not very updated but serve purpose. Very small awkward bathrooms but good hot shower. Keep in mind that most things are not walkable from hotel, have to take bus or taxi to old town and most restaurants. Excellent buffett breakfast is the main reason to stay at this hotel, and free parking on-site if you have a car.

Air conditioning was not working and even by asking to the receptionist the problem wasn’t solved for 3 days. The vue from the room is a wall… Bathroom has no shower, and the bath is slippery. I don’t talk about the isolation where I was earing every morning our neighbours flushing their toilets… Room was clean and personal very nice but we were very disappointed

Really nice stay here. Received a welcome message prior to our stay which was a nice touch. Reception staff friendly on arrival. Good location about 15 minutes walk from the city walls and old town, and 20 minutes to the marina. Rooms spacious and comfy with (very) big bed, although a little dated. Acceptably equipped bathroom (although the step in to the bath/shower could be challenging for some). The hotel bar gets busy in the evening with locals as well as hotel guests as the food is great in there. The breakfast room gets busy in the mornings but always managed to get a table. The food in the breakfast room is acceptable, but not great.

The food and gym were a highlight of the trip. The staff and service were also good. The major downside was the rooms were not sound proof. Got woke up each morning (very early) with sounds from below. We were on the first floor so not sure if this was from the kitchen / restaurant. There were also a lack of sun beds for the many guests.

EXTREMELY noisy, very thin walls and very drunk guests. I didn’t sleep for 3/4 nights of my stay. I wish I could get a refund, I’ve never been in such a noisy hotel. Thermostat in room broken as well. Breakfast was average but hotel staff is very kind.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel from the start. The staff greeted us warmly and took care of our luggage since we came early and our room was not ready yet. The tourist tax was fully explained and added to our room bill and we paid it at the end of our stay. They also told us that a VIP bottle of wine was waiting for us in the room. The room was spotless and spacious, with a small balcony that had two chairs. It would have been perfect for two people, but we were three adults in the room. The pool was clean and well-kept, and we could order drinks there. The breakfast was the same every day, but it was tasty and satisfying. The checkout was quick and easy. The concierge service was excellent, helping us with buying the Dubrovnik pass and booking a car for the airport. This hotel has superb staff and superb facilities. The only thing I would change is the variety of breakfast options.

Our stay at Hotel Lero was fantastic, with exceptional service from the staff, welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrive. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of different options of hot and cold food. The location was perfect with the bus station close to the hotel. Safe area and walking distance to restaurants and supermarket.

We are upgraded to Villa Orabella. That in itself was amazing. Room was greatly appointed with a private terrace. Service was great and we loved breakfast. The staff was very friendly and provided a lot of tourism needed details for our enjoyable stay.

Location wise is 2 bus stops from the old town. Is HOT during the day and you will definitely needed to take bus number 4 there. For the CHECK OUT TIME is 10.30am the earliest I have ever encountered.

The hotel is clean but the location not the best to visit the old town. Also the hotel customer service was horrible. First of all they told us we would get a discount to the buffet for dinner all three nights of our stay only to dishonor their word and tell us there was no room for the group the secon night. We were never informed that a reservation was needed. They also wouldn't refund the money paid for breakfast one day; we couldn't have the breakfast because our tour was leaving very early on that day.

Given that Dubrovnik in August has reached “peak tourist” if not beyond, the pricing of the Lero was reasonable. In the heat, we found it was always an Uber ride to the city walls. Still quite close. Good and beverage was good. Staff were helpful.

I wouldnt recommend walking to the hotel with huge bags. Get taxi or bus. It is on a hill, serviced by local buses. But the hotel itself is great, staff fantastic and just close enough (20-30) min walk between Old Town and where all the other hotels are in Lapad (30 mins other directon). Released pleased we books this hotel rather than one further out in Lapad .

The rooms were very small. You couldn't open your luggage there. The rooms were cleaned daily. You really needed to take an Uber to the old town because the hotel is situated on top of the hill and roads are winding at points and not really appropriate for pedestrians.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. It is 20 minutes walk to old town. There are two bus stations within few minutes walk from hotel. one goes to old town and the other comes from old town. Get the Dubrovnik pass and it covers all the bus rides. Taxi is 9 euros to old town but bus is easier than taxi, believe me I’m not bus person but this was better option than taxi. Breakfast was very good. Fresh and many options. Friendly staff. A famous restaurant in Dubrovnik, Taj Mahal, is next door. Taj Mahal is not Indian cousin it’s Bosnian cousin and really good. My only complaint is beds and towels that could be better quality. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel Lero has the ideal location - close enough to Dubrovnik old town to be able to walk within 15/20 mins and has bus stops going in both directions just outside. Rooms and breakfast are to a high standard. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Excellent efficient staff. Super clean rooms. Plentiful breakfast choices, even arranged take away bags when going on early morning tour. Only 15min walk to Old Town, or bus number 4 stops 50metres from hotel. Good food in the Panio bar. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Great location, 23 minutes walk to Pile Gate, or bus stop right in front of hotel €1.73 (you can get them at front desk)…friendly stuff, big selection for breakfast. I will stay there again..Nice restaurant and bar with music on premises…
