Hotel Biokovo

Last minute stay on New Years Day for a change. Got a room with a balcony overlooking the harbour and with everything going on it was excellent. Parking is a challenge in Makarska but the Miramar sister hotel closes in winter and has an underground car park you can use for €10. 2 mins walk. Lovely modern room.

Great location. Only downside was trying to find overnight parking

Great property in the centre of the Marina, book oarking in advance or ask for directions pre arrivung in busy months but relatively easy. Perfect location for all of the town and a greatvplace to visit.

Our room had a beautiful view sea view hotel was in good location. Downside to the hotel was no parking and access to check in and bring luggage was not very good. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel was clean and located in good part of city. The problems was the elevator was broken and seems to me the management was careless

Chambre proposée avec parking et finalement parking complet et obliger de payer un parking en ville pour la nuit et très cher !

We were pleasantly surprised by this little port town and hotel. Modern and so well located. Parking at another close hotel for €20. My only issue was the room was a little noisy being 1st floor above restaurant Room 109

Fint hotel lige ud til havnepromenade. Store Værelser, fint inventar, rent og lækkert. HUSK book parkering forud på hotel = 27 euro pr. Døgn eller kørt op i byen zone 3 og parker via app til 12 euro…. God beliggenhed central i byen.

Was good overall, but I was not satisfied with the cleaning of the rooms. We stayed for five nights and our sheets were never changed. They barely even touched the bathroom. Nice staff

Fantastisk balkong och utsikt över hamnen. Rummen är tysta, välstädade och fina. ACn lät en hel del och frukosten fanns mycket att önska mer av. Ok utbud, men om du kommer en halvtimme innan stängning så är i stort sett allt slut och inget fylls på. Och om något fylls på läggs det ovanpå rester från tidigare, vilket inte känns hygieniskt.

Bra location, semi dock för att ljuset från gatan störde vis sömn. Rum med balkong var löjligt fin utsikt mot hamnen. Rekommenderar Places dalmajica 🙏

We booked for a mountain view, and on check in we realised they upgraded us to an ocean view. Excellent location and restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel until they filled the remainder of our floor with a school trip of around thirty 14 yr olds who had no regard for anyone else, they were extremely loud and disrupted the peace and quiet all night long. As a result we didn’t sleep and the teacher seemed to have little or no control over them. It was very unfortunate.

Das Hotel an sich ist wirklich in Ordnung. Zimmer mit Meerblick beinhaltet leider keinen Balkon, der Blick aufs Meer durchs Fenster ist trotzdem schön. Am Anreisetag war der Lift kaputt, was für uns (Zimmer im 1. Stock) nicht sehr schlimm war. Am Abreisetag funktionierte er dann wieder. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung gewesen, leider war das Geschirr schlecht abgewaschen, man fand sehr schwer eine saubere Tasse oder ein sauberes Teller. Das Personal nahm uns diesbezüglich auch nicht ernst. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer konnte nicht umgestellt bzw. abgeschaltet werden. So wie das Zimmer verlassen wurde, kühlte es auf 20 Grad herunter, was bei 36 Grad Außentemperatur doch etwas kalt ist. Wir wollten sie dann abschalten, was leider nicht funktionierte. Die Zimmerdamen kannten sich auch nicht aus und bei der Rezeption sagte man nur, wir sollen froh sein, dass sie überhaupt funktioniert. Naja...die Dame und der Herr bei der Rezeption waren generell mehr mit dem Handy beschäftigt als sich um Gästeanliegen zu kümmern. Parkplatz gibt es direkt an der Promenade (für 15 oder 20 Kuna die halbe Stunde). Ein netter Herr im Restaurant nebenan gab uns dann einen guten Tipp für 160 Kuna pro 24 Stunden, 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Hotel. Das Essen im Restaurant selbst war in Ordnung, das Bezahlen über die Zimmerrechnung hat dann nicht funktioniert, also Bargeld/Karte einstecken. Alles in allem waren die 3 Nächte mit Frühstück für 2 Personen um 550 Euro ein Schnäppchen :-)

Definitely worth the extra price for one of the 4 rooms with a balcony sea view. So pretty!! Down side of the hotel is no parking. Everything else was great!

Service staff, especially for the breakfast sessions are terrible. Waiters are yelling at the guests because guests were disappointed with the lack of food. this happened on the morning of 2nd January 2023.

Marko and the rest of the staff were amazing. Marko consistently offered great advice. I would strongly recommend Hotel Biokovo, for the facilities, location and the amazing staff!

I would choose again to stay at this hotel. Easy access to beach. Walkable to stores, bakery and dining places. Hotel is in the center at very busy place but is very on the safe and quiet place too. Excellent and helpful hotel staff.

This was my second stay at the Biokovo. I like the convenient location and the breakfast was ample with lots of options. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Ligger i havna og rett ved det gamle sentrumet med restauranter og butikker. Litt lengre å gå til stranda, men ikke voldsomt langt. Kan anbefale det.

The view was absolutely incredible. Although this was definitely not a four star hotel the view made it worth it. Breakfast was the same everyday, nothing special. Coffee machines (2) had various issues everyday and they were soo slow.. There was a sleeping security or receptionist sleeping in the lobby at night. That was kind of weird.

A solid option for a one-night stay. The location right by the water is fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent. However, we were disappointed by the parking situation—although it’s listed as available for an additional $20, no spots were available when we arrived. This was especially inconvenient as we were traveling with small children. We were also surprised to learn about €10 fee for a pack-and-play. While it’s not a huge fee, it felt unnecessary. We’ve stayed at countless hotels around the world and have never been charged for a baby crib before.
