Hotel Jezero - Plitvice Lakes National Park

The hotel staff are nice and helpful, it offered a complimentary ride to transfer me from the bus stop to the hotel. That’s help a lot as I have luguage.

Bel hôtel, grand parking , à proximité de l'entrée 2 des lacs de Plitvice. Personnel fort agréable, piscine et sauna . Le restaurant buffet est vraiment limite et la cuisine est vraiment bas de gamme. Le petit déjeuner est moyen.

Absence of shower booth curtain. Water rebound on the floor during shower. Others? All excellent. Specially, close with the entrance 2. Work around perfect in the morning. Balcony good. Sufficient free parking slot.

We stayed in superior suite lake side. Room was comfortable and clean, with quiet surroundings (if exclude sounds of tourist vehicles from early morning). Breakfast was average with not so much choice. Beverages and food were low quality for the price we paid. Tennis terrains are not maintained and not usable. Near hotel there is a devastated hotel that looks creepy and smelling bad. Strangely, the ambulance car was constantly parked in front of the hotel which gave us uncomfortable feeling. Overall, we are dissatisfied and would not recommend.

Being in the park is wonderful. It is easy to get to both entrances from the hotel. The rooms are a bit drab. Definitely face the lake if you can. You won’t be able to see the lake once the trees leaf out, but sitting on your balcony facing the woods is lovely. Be aware that the food is pretty awful. The whirlpool is only 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 C) so fairly cool. Sauna is an additional charge. Apparently if you book your room directly from Hotel Jezero, your park entry tickets are included - worth checking on that!

The hotel was nice, the staff was nice, they have restaurants inside the hotel open late, which is wonderful, they offer a breakfast buffet, but not until 7 am, which is a bit late if you want to be the first ones in the park, but it wad decent food. The bed was comfortable and we had a very peaceful nice stay, the pool was not what we expected, but it was heated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

1. All staff were friendly, patient with questions, and helpful. Reception staff and dining staff encountered the largest groups of visitors. At check in/checkout sorting rooms and final payment of incidentals and during meals. Staff always helpful and knowledgeable. 2. Dining options both buffet and the Waterfall restaurant were delicious. The Waterfall is most elegant, lunch menu choices included a delicate trout dish, subtly seasoned and flavorful. We ate most of our meals from the buffet. Breakfast included homemade tasty mildly spicy sausages. My husband doesn’t usually eat sausage but he devoured these little gems as did I. Evening meals included an array of meats and fish, vegetables, salads, and desserts. All nicely prepared, presented, and replenished. We spent 3 days and 2 nights so had an opportunity to sample a variety of dishes. 3. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable temperature. 4. The fitness room is well equipped and the Finnish sauna was a nice topoff after walking the lakes. 5. One small quibble…the whirlpool features of jetted water and heated water were unavailable. One could dally in the cool water after time in the water after time in the sauna, which we did. 6. I’m glad we stayed here. I highly recommend this hotel. It provided the amenities we desired. Thank you. 7. One last item…proximity to the park entrance #2 is a short 2-3 minute walk. Also the hotel provides complimentary rides to entrance #1 & 2 other local eateries.

Although the hotel is a little outdated, at least in the section we stayed at, they definately make up for it in professional staff, cleanliness as well as amazing food, terrace, restaurants, activites such as bowling, tennis, spa, gym, and many more.

Room smelt a bit. Very old, could use upgrade Reno. Breakfast was great though. Very close to falls, so that’s good. Back in the day I bet it was a 5 star. But that was a long time ago. No upgrades at this place for a long while.

Hotel situation is perfect in between Plitvice Lakes National Park. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. Very nice staff. Very clean room.

The national park is amazing. If I was to go back, I would not stay at this hotel, I would simply book the park and stay somewhere that I could drive to the park in an hour or so. The hotel smelled bad and was really old and not well maintained. The breakfast was mediocre but the breakfast room was crowded and (at least on the day we were there - it was raining) dark.

Extremely close to Entrance 2 of the park which made it a great jump off point for our daily adventures. Rooms were very clean and staff were super friendly.

Terrible experience. Dirty, dated, insects and flies everywhere and no fans despite having no air conditioning. Poor service.

Hôtel très proche de l'entrée 2 du Parc de Plitvice. Buffet correct et personnel aimable. Les chambres et la salle de bain auraient besoin d'un rafraîchissement mais elles sont spacieuses et la literie excellente. Très bon souvenir

Chambre très bruyante, salle de bain peu fonctionnelle : petite baignoire ou l on ne tient pas debout, wc derrière la porte avec un bidet d un autre temps. Coussins extra plat, matelas moyen. Buffet du dîner hors de prix : 30 euros pour avoir des fruits au sirop en dessert et des crudités et de la charcuterie en entrée. Le petit déjeuner est moyen. Bref le seul atout de cet hôtel est la proximité de l entrée du parc national, pour le reste c est trop cher pour un hôtel veillot.

This is a nice, convenient place to stay when visiting Plitvice Lakes. However, it's a popular stop for tour buses so the hotel was full of frantic crowds. It's amusing mostly, but the crowds in the hotel and the restaurant were somewhat unexpected for us. Also the wifi is non existent, which wasn't too big of a deal because we didn't visit one of the most beautiful places on earth to sit in the hotel and use the internet.

The only real reason to stay here is the park access. However, I’m unsure if other properties have ease of access as well. The entire property is tired and needs a massive overhaul. While clean, the rooms are so so so dated and stale. Very overpriced - I would consider other options. .

The hotel is in much need of an upgrade. The room was comfortable but the lack of air conditioning resulted in uncomfortable nights. On the plus side, the hotel was perfect for access to the National Park. After buying the first day of park entrance fee, the hotel extended this for the whole duration of our stay. In all four days for the price of one!

For location it was fine. No AC. Our room on top floor was quite hot (we stayed in late June) but we knew that it didn’t have AC. We also had short ceilings. Buffet was average. There were a number of bus tour groups staying there.

The rooms were nice size. The staff was very very helpful. They don’t have A/C in the rooms which made sleeping a bit hot. But you could walk right I to the park which was awesome and the whole reason we stayed there.

Room is spacious, tidy and clean. View is good.

I usually try andd find something positive about a hotel when I review, but in this case I'm struggling. Location, at it's at entrance 2 is possibly the only thing, but TBH entrance 1 is the best one to pick. We paid extra for a park view room, and our room overlooked the car park, when I complained the woman on reception said a park view meant a parkint lot view, in a sarcastic tone. The hotel itself screams out, help the 1970's left me behind, and it feels like mainteance was last done then. Did not try the reastaurent for dinner due to reviews, but it was OK for breakfast, a huge area of buffet, but spread out, clound have used half the space for the options provided. See pictures for my view, and exmples of poor maintenance and design. This was part of a 10 day trip, and was the most expensive as well as being the worst by a considerable margin, in hindsight would have stayed further away and driven into the park / out again

Staff were very welcoming and kind and the location is incredibly convenient to explore the park. Breakfast was satisfactory and hit the spot. Front desk gave us excellent tips for park entry and dining. Our only critique is that the hotel itself needs a bit of a refresh, but everything worked and was clean.

One teabag for 2 people. One crappy pillow. Worst mattress ever. Staff abrupt verge of rude. Towels are crap. Breakfast buffet was good. Convenient to park. For €250 it easily could have much better. Coffee maker? Nice towels etc.

We wanted to be close so we could get an early start to see the waterfalls and lower lakes. The staff was so helpful in helping us plan our stay and get everything done. We decided to stay and have dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with a very nice dinner. Breakfast was also very nice.

The hotel had promised via email to provide an electric fan during our stay. But when we checked in the reception told that there wasn’t any electric fan. We were greatly disappointed at their lack of any integrity in running the hotel. Also, owing to the shabby condition of the hotel, there’s no ventilation inside the bathroom which is always stuffy and stinky.

We chose Hotel Jezero due to its proximity to the entrance to Plitvice Lakes. It’s just a few minutes walk (down a lot of steps) to entrance 2. From there you can do either the upper or lower lakes. Parking was easy and check in went smooth. The rooms, while adequate and clean, are a bit outdated. There is both buffet and a la carte dining options. The buffet was 20 euros each, not including drinks. We chose to skip the buffet and our meal was 44 euros with drinks, so it worked out well. If you are doing more than one day in the lakes only get a one day pass. The hotel will give you and extra day stamp after your first day.

The room and hotel itself are fine for a short stay, but could do with some updating. The buffet at breakfast and dinner, could both do with some more options, and definitely some better labelling. We were travelling with a vegetarian, who struggled to understand what food was suitable as some veggie options still looked like they contained meat.

The hotel is older but in great condition and the staff are lovely. It’s absolutely perfect to stay in the park and walk to both lower and upper lakes! We would highly recommend staying here!

The property is at Plitvice Lakes National Park and you can literally walk to the park from the property. Very convenient.

A nice hotel in a great location, close to lakes. The food was very good and the breakfast buffet was wonderful start to the day. No air conditioning though.

The hotel is not worth staying in. If you are there at the height of the season may be it’s worth it, but like us if you are here the first week of October, then stay in one of the local hotels or B&B and park in the park parking lot before entering the park. The breakfast was mass produced and the hotel is most certainly using the closeness of the park to its full advantage. Certainly not worth the money. Poor food, broken furniture. Look elsewhere depending as to when you are planning your trip. The pro was worth every penny

Everything was great except one thing: the bathroom bathtub was completely clogged the last day of our stay. Water was not moving at all. We reported to the manager. Hopefully they fix it. Breakfast was fantastic and super easy access to the park, just 4 minutes walking.

Bar food was great! They made us sandwich sandwiches to go, and we were able to get to out next destination

En apparence, l'hotel est idéalement placé pour la visite du park de Plitvice mais : - Restauration de masse ce qui signifie certains matins un envahissement de la salle de petit-déjeuner qui devient difficilement accessible -La restauration du soir n'est pas à la hauteur : les restaurants à proximité sont à privilégier !
