We had a very nice stay overall. The room was spacious and clean, with a huge balcony and a lovely view over the surrounding area and forest. It also had a fridge, kettle and coffee, and there was a convenient water dispenser just outside the room on our floor. The hotel has a great pool area with a pool bar, and the breakfast was decent. The location is also very convenient, within walking distance of the beach, local restaurants and shops. One issue with the room was the shower – the water was extremely hot and almost impossible to regulate to a comfortable temperature. The main downside of the hotel was definitely the elevators. We stayed on the 6th floor, and with only two elevators serving the entire hotel, there was often a long wait. The staff also seemed to use the same elevators, which made them very crowded and inefficient at busy times. On more than one occasion, we ended up taking the stairs instead. Apart from that, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the hotel and its location.

Stayed 5 nights

The standard double room is quite small if you plan on staying for more than a weekend. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. Small bathroom, but a really nice and large shower. The power outlet in the bathroom did not allow me to use my hair-straightener, and the only other power outlet was by the nightstand which was a shame. The worst thing about the room was the horrific smell from the bathroom sink every time we turned on the water. I expect more from av 4-star hotel! There was not enough space for clothing. I asked for more hangers for my clothes, but still had to keep quite a bit of clothing in my suitcase on the floor. You really need to fix the smell, and at least add more hangers to the rooms so it is possible to organize clothing. We really enjoyed the well equipped gym and the outdoor pool, but found it strange that the pool bar didn’t sell ice-cream. The ice-cream had to be bought at the spa reception and the selection of ice cream was very small. The hotel is only a few minutes walk away from several really nice restaurants and the beach with sunbeds, restaurants and nice toilets. We found our room quiet which we appreciated, but have never slept on harder mattresses.
