Really easy to find from the efficient and regular Airport bus into the city. We arrived way before check-in time but the very busy young lady on reception checked us in and let us leave our bags until the appropriate time. Our room was on the 6th floor and very quiet from noise inside or outside the hotel. The room was very simple laid out with everything that we needed and more. Both the sleeping and bathroom areas were very clean. Breakfast had a good variety of food types hot and cold,my only issue being a vegan, was that there wasn't such a choice for my dietary requirements. A couple of things looked like they would be vegan but were not. Allergens were clearly marked on the labels for the food themselves. Almond milk was provided. A separate area for gluten-free. My husband who is vegetarian love to breakfast. Breakfast staff were always busy and very efficient. We used the spa both days that we were staying. The first day a Friday, was less busy than the Saturday. We very much enjoyed the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. I would suggest you book the spa before arrival so not to be disappointed if it's too full to accommodate you. We very much enjoyed staying at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The check in process went smooth. The room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nice. The only major issue we had was the restaurant in this hotel. Room service was listed both on the hotel website and the room brochure as closing at 9 pm. The first night of our stay, we called at 7:30 pm only to be told they were already filling an order for 2 large groups of people. The next night we called at 7:00 and was told they were closing soon and no room service was available. That was a huge disappointment.

A key reason for booking a room at the hotel was to use the pool and sauna. When I enquired at reception about access to the pool and sauna I was told that the pool and sauna were there for guests paying for Spa treatment. I did not want Spa therapy and therefore I did not use the pool or sauna, very disappointing.

Situated in the heart of Old Town within walkable distance from main tourist attractions. Hotel offers SPA treatments, two different nice saunas, and bubbly baths. No pool. Generous and delicious breakfast buffet. 5-10 minutes walk away from the main rail station allows an easy day trip to explore other interesting places in Latvia like Jurmala or Sigulda.

Spa was ok, room and breakfast ok. But the staff and their system i do not know. We stayed for 2 Nights with spa access and both entries to spa caused problems cause they do not see that spa was included in the room price. So that was annoying that i had to go twice to reception and sort the things out. Good location and perfect breakfast indeed

I specifically choose this hotel because, unlike others, it did not indicate that there would be an additionally charge to use the spa. I was bitterly disappointed on arrival to be told it was NOT included. I would have chosen the other better positioned hotel if i had known that in advance. VERY DECEPTIVE. I did love that there's a water filter on each floor and a reusable glass bottle in your room to fill if you don't have your own bottle. Great green initiative. Spotlessly clean. Directly opposite train/bus station and on edge of old town.

Room was on ground floor which allowed everyone passing by look at the room, therefore to keep privacy we were forced to keep closed curtains which made room dark and unpleasant. There was water leachage under bath tub, therefore all room smelled with mold and canalization smell. Room was close to some service room, hence it was very loud and impossible to sleep. During check staff wasn’t service minded but answered quite agressive.

The hotel has seen better days. Now it is worn down. I slept bad, because: - Noise from the street and the nearby railroad - Riga was unusually warm for September. Still, the _policy_ is to disable AC from September 1st, so the room held 25-26 degrees Further, they "trick" you to "accept" no room cleaning. A small sign says that you need to actively request room cleaning by hanging a sign on the door. If you've slept bad, are in a hurry in the morning and leave forgetting this, you come back to wet towels on the floor and damp linens from last night's sweaty attempt to sleep. Wellton, I've stayed at your hotels 50+ times the past 6 years. I know you can do better.

I rated it so low cause of sleep quality - everything else was great but the bed/sleep is essential for a hotel. First, when reserving the room you are asked 2 twin beds or a 1 queen bed. I am one person on the reservation, chose 1 queen bed. It's two twin mattresses pushed together, not even a thin top mattress on top. Just a sheet over two separate twin mattresses. So you can only sleep on it as on a single bed or you fall into the gap. Second, the bed has two tiny half duvets. Again - 1 person on the reservation, queen bed. TWO single small duvets that didn't even cover half of me. It was cold, I couldn't wrap up in the duvet, so the nice hotel bed experience when you are able to wrap up and sleep comfortably was not there. Please give 1 person reservation normal size duvet and stop advertising 1 queen bed if it has a gap in the middle of two single mattresses.

It was a great stay! The receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room. The room was very spacious with a great view. Super comfortable big bed. The breakfast was also nice. If we go to Riga we will definitely stay here again.

Mostly great stay. The location very central close to transportation. The staff very really great during the stay, any issues arising were fixed immediately. The breakfast was nice as well. The downsides were the poor wifi in the room where we stayed, it mostly didnt work. The room was quite small -also, you should definitely have more than two teabags and two sugars in the room. It was also quite noisy some nights, the building is not insulated great. The spa was also not worth it. Its too small and theres only one jacuzzi with tiny pool. But for service,location and cleanliness i would stay again.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The room is overall clean but the sheets didn't smell fresh. There was a problem with the shower, the water not running properly. However, they sent the mechanic and sorted it out very quickly. The area is awesome, walkable within the old town area and close to the bus station 'autoosta'

Room 615 could be great, but window/door could not be closed completely. So a lot of trafic and train noice and wind came in. Got a new room (good service). Breakfast was stadard - and not acceptable when you pay for it. Room for lots of improvement to breakfast. The room where you had breakfast was small and sad..... Need renovation.

The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The location is extremely convenient for transportation and also great for shopping. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, some of which had a lovely home-cooked feel, which was excellent.

The hotel is in good place bot far from restaurant's and historical part of the city. O had an issues with my card bot opening the door after late night around midnight i couldn't get in the room with my card beitithe receptionist this was very unpleasant experience. The personal try to resolve but he lacks of communication in that process that makes all situations more awkward. It took around half hour so i went yo bed after 1am. No apologies no explanations. Let all this stay very unpleasant. Something to improve or work on. Haven't tried the Wellness amenities so can't comment on this.

Receptionist was very rude. I paid for superior room and they gave me standard room. Tried to explane, male receptionist keep arguin with me that they have many options of superior rooms. I know different of superior and standard room. Gave me key to the right room and said that this is exception. Food and breakfast staff was good and nice, but first and last time staying there. ee

On my way flying to Riga I received a text message from the hotel relocating me to a much lower grade hotel miles away from the centre where I had already booked and paid for the Wellton hotel. They then offered that I book and pay full price again to stay at one of their other vacant hotels. Absolutely disgraceful way to run a business. I had stayed at their hotel before which in itself is a nice hotel but this is how they treat return customers, or any customer for that fact. I have emailed the hotel asking what happened but needless to say they did not reply. Will never use or recommend this company again, ever.

It was a great stay! The receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room. The room was very spacious with a great view. Super comfortable big bed. The breakfast was also nice. If we go to Riga we will definitely stay here again.

Grei frokost, bra utvalg. Hotellet har to heiser og den andre var i ustand - veldig leit når hotellet var helt fullbooket. Service var ikke spesielt hyggelig, det burde vært bedre spesielt i resepsjonen.

Really central location. Easy walk to Old Riga and the main tourist attractions (House of the Blackheads, Occupation of Latvia museum etc). If you are getting the bus from the airport the stop is right on the street in front so very convenient. The room was really nice and had everything needed. The only downside was my room was at the front of the property right near the tram line so you could hear the trams later into the evening.

Perfecte locatie. Ook qua vervoer vanaf het vliegveld. Bus 22 vanaf het vliegveld. Als je de luchthaven uit komt direct in de bus. De bus stop voor het hotel, bij de winkel Stockman/ Forum bioscoop. Retour , ook bus 22, naar vliegveld ook 'voor de deur' dus Nog nooit zo makkelijk meegemaakt. Goed ontbijt.

We got the 4th floor room facing main hotel entrance. Right next to the hotel there are several bars / clubs that go live around 8pm and noise and music was so loud until early morning hours, you can hear without any difficulty, people screaming/ singing, this entire street become noisy and loud, we stayed for two painful nights and nothing could be done. Avoid staying here or at least ask them not to put you in room facing hotel entrance. Will not stay here again.

Very noisy!! The location of the hotel to the local transport links means constant noise from the trams / buses etc. there are also a couple of bars nearby and the noise travels from the outdoor seating (room dependent we were almost directly above the seating outside). Suite was a generous size (802) though. Breakfast choice was good but busy at times and had to wait to be seated.

The breakfast was a lot of choises but not so tasty. We had a room on first floot the first nights but woke up so many times from guests that where loud in the reception or in/out from elevator and where lucky to chance one floor up for the last night. In the spa first they couldnt find out booking that we made in the reception the evening before, and then a crew of boys stayed in one of the two hot tubes with a speaker with partymusic and beers so it was not so cosy the first 30 minutes of the 1.5 hour. We wished to stay close to out friends that would arrive one day after us but got rooms 6 floors apart. Will probably never return but when checking out the girl in reception was really serviceminded and nice!

Had a really lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were great, facilities lovely and the spa was incredible. Breakfast was amazing and even included sparkling wine! So central and easy to get to everywhere, yet still quiet enough to get a good sleep. Would return here for sure!

Godt hotell rett ved inngangen til gamlebyen. 50 meter til busholdeplass til buss 22 til flyplassen. Hotellet er ryddig, med god frokost, tom muserende til frokost. På rommet er det vannkoker med flere uliky typer te og kaffe, minibar. Sengene er gode. Anbefales!
