Comfort Inn Corner Brook

Very comfortable. No pool facilities, no elevator but that comes with the price point for this hotel.

Having a restaurant on site was ideal. The hotel has been updated some from the last time we stayed there but still needs a little work.

There was no pool, which is why I booked, the place was under construction which they didn’t say, all in all will not recommend this hotel, also no elevator and putting two old ladies on the third floor, and

Staff was amazing, room was clean, resturant was super great. However someone tried to steal our rims off our truck in the parking lot during the night, luckily we had locking wheelnuts and only lost the centre cap. 😅

Long outside walk from check in desk to our room. No elevator. Many areas closed off. Weather conditions were terrible and everyone was drenched by the time we got to the room. Not suitable for anyone with luggage (you have to lift it upstairs) or elderly persons or anyone with mobility or back issues. Should have been noted on Expedia’s website. Information about renovation only came after we booked and paid for room and that was from the hotel itself.

When we arrived, our room was filthy. The floors were covered in what looked like dog hair, a film of dirt and dust all over the TV and counter tops, and it was very apparent that the bedding had not been changed, sheets were full of black hair and there were stains on the blankets. When we advised the front, he sent us back to the room with bedding to change the sheets ourselves with a promise that the room would be cleaned in the morning - it wasn’t. Our garbages weren’t even changed. This was not an acceptable stay.

Many stains and smells throughout the building and room. Cleanliness of the room itself could definitely be improved.

Housekeeping was excellent, as was the front desk staff.

Had to get housekeeping to change the bed because of long hairs outside and inside the sheets. Also the floor needed to get swept and mopped and we were told when we checked in that wifi was out for the next few weeks.

Shower stall was very dirty it wasn't even cleaned. Noise all night long. A valley ball team was visiting same time. Noise till midnight, singing and banging on hotel room doors. Next room to mine were a couple who were up all night coughing and going out for a smoke and banging the door so hard that it woke you up every time. In total got two hours sleep. Terrible!!!!

The room was dirty the bed looked like it had been slept in .l would have asked for a different room but it was 11:30pm

Noisy air-conditioner

The room carpet smelled, and you could hear everything in the next room...crazy clear. Wouldn't stay there again. And the Wi-Fi did not work

Staff was great. Room heating system was realky bad, noisy, always pushing cold or warm air in alternance with no option to close the system. It was inconfortable

Hotel is located near the highway, which made it very convenient for us. Room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a sofa bed, which made it nice tomsit and watch TV. It want very comfortable, but that didntntake away from the rest of the room. Good water pressure in the shower as well. An overall good stay.

I find the walls are paper thin, I could hear the people in the next room as if they were standing next to me. Other than that, room was clean and comfortable.

The room we had was newly renovated. So nice to have brand new carpets, furniture, etc. Big tv and comfortable beds and pillows.

Relatively updated, noisy though

I book this hotel by mistake. I’m from quiet town. The traffic noise is LOUD! I like a quiet night away this isn’t it!

We arrived at 4 pm. Check in time was 2 pm We booked two rooms and one was not available as had not been cleaned. The clerk wouldn’t say when it would be ready and that they had full guests and cleaners called in sick. No empathy, no care. Then got to the rooms finally and there were two double beds when I had booked King Size beds.

We arrived on a late night flight and got to the hotel after midnight. The desk clerk was extremely helpful in getting us registered and also helping getting the heating in the room going. The checkout process was very convenient as well

There was no elevator which made it difficult for 2 seniors. I was told no housekeeping unless I requested it. When I di I was told I needed to give them 24 hours notice. Complimentary coffee not available as machine broke down. We were there for 3 nights! Never again.

Excellent service

The receptionist gladly switched me to a ground floor room to avoid lugging my suitcase to the upper floor. Bonus for a 72 years old little lady like me. Even the cleaning lady was congenial.

Front desk person that worked the evening was not friendly. Not a good first impression. Hotel was hard to find because of road closures in the area but the room was clean and quiet.

Housekeeping was excellent, as was the front desk staff.

Rooms cleaned on demand only. I stayed for 9 days. Requested to have the room cleaned on the 4th day on my way out for the day, and discovered that their cleaners were apparently all booked, and my room won't get cleaned the next day. I had some scheduling problem, initially booked for 7 days, but later had to add 2 more days. I addressed this when I checked in, and then on no less than 3 different occasions, that I would really like to just stay in the same room instead of changing rooms on the 8th day. This was as recent as the 7th evening when I returned from the day out. The response from front desk was that if that's not okay, I would hear from them. On the 8th day, on our way out at around 10AM, I tried to confirm with front desk that I assume all was okay. Then found out that I had to check out then check in again after 3!! Furthermore, the middle aged lady sitting at the back, appeared to be in charge, chimed in that we had to check out because the room we stayed in was for 7 days, and it would be taken by another guest. The bottom line was we had to return to our room to check out. To check in later for our additional 2 days. The manner she delivered the message was cold and even hostile, as it was obviously our fault we booked like that - which it was. Thanks for your help lady!!!

Needed a room in a pinch and got one! Front staff and cleaning lady very friendly! Will be back

Easy to find right off the highway. New location very clean. If you,'re in the Corner Brook side you get great view of the town.

The room was lovely and clean. It was great to have a fridge to store our groceries. Wonderful location for exploring the area.

This hotel made it very easy to ttavel as a pet owner. Very accommodating. Clean. Easy access from the highway. Staff were lovely!

Our biggest disappointment with Corner Brook Comfort Inn is they did not have a continental breakfast. All Comfort Inns we stayed at all had a continental breakfast, and suddenly, this one did not.

Restaurant was very busy but food was great! Staff was courteous and friendly.

Did not like the fact that there was no breakfast included. This was the first Comfort Inn that I stayed in that did not have a breakfast included. There is an attached restaurant that serves breakfast but it is very expensive.

Appreciated having the Jungle Jim’s Restaurant available in house. Excellent TV screens in the room and we also appreciated the USB outlets available on the nightstands.

Beds were comfortable. Room clean, shower was good lots of HW. Cups for coffee/general use were missing had to go get some from front desk area. Restaurant attached to hotel and is open for breakfast
