Parking is tough to find do to all the events at the hotel, also there is a pigeon plague, my car will need a detail after parking here for two nights, even the covered parking area is not inmune to pigeon poop. The toilet seat in my bathroom was worn out. Location and staff were very good.

This is the spot to come and stay in Mexicali! The have 2 pools, an outdoor restaurant/bar... And a 5 star restaurant with a pretty good buffet! Will defenitly stay here again

Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia, ya que la habitación no estaba totalmente limpia en encontramos al lado de la cama el empaque de un preservativo usado, A la hora de reportar el problema, la solución fue cambiarnos de habitación, pero en realidad ya no estuvimos a gusto el aire acondicionado es bastante ruidoso cuando se vuelven encender lo cual no te deja descansar el estacionamiento bastante incómodo, no se me hace justo por el precio que cobran

Hotel Lucerna was not quite what I expected, but it had some nice amenities that made the stay more enjoyable. They maintain their pool well, and the multiple dining options were a plus. The small gym was a nice touch too. During our stay, it was extremely hot, so we spent most of our time indoors. While the air conditioning worked great to keep the room cool, it was very noisy, which was a bit disruptive. The room itself was decent but could have been cleaner. We stayed for a week, and while it was a good choice for this trip, I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Lucerna hotel is a little dated and the floors were quite dirty. The AC goes from 0-100 and nothing in between so it’ll get really cold real fast. I recommend this hotel based on its location and its price.

The room was in good conditions except for the fact that the balcony door did not work. The door to the balcony can be accessed from any room with a balcony and therefore i did not feel comfortable and asked to be moved to a different room which was not in such a great condition… at least not for the price.

When checking-in we weren't greeted. The service elevator was out of service so we had to share the elevator with the room service personnel and had to wait because we couldn't fit with the cart inside. I had booked the room for 2 adults and when we got to the room there was only two towels one was a regular size towel and the other one was a small towel. It was my first and last time staying in this hotel. I usually stay in Hotel Araiza, but wanted to experience how Hotel Lucerna is but doesn't come any close to Hotel Araiza.

Lucerna Hotel is GREAT! We always stay there when we visit Mexicali. Friendly staff, comfortable & clean rooms. But most of all, their Sunday Brunch is SUPERB! We always go back to La Lucerna :)

The grounds were really nice, the staff was friendly minus the staff in the bar and restaurant. Very disappointed in the service, had enchiladas for dinner and the food was cold and there were chicken bones in my food. Let the staff know and they could care less, then went to the outside bar that was open until 10, it was 7pm and sat there for over 10 mins and nobody showed up to work the bar and help us. Then we went to the piano bar and ordered drinks and nachos, the nachos were horrible with extremely stale chips and just nacho cheese sauce, had to waive down the staff after waiting 20 mins to get drinks. It was very disappointing

The Italian Restaurant on the premises was incredible. This is where we had our post-wedding ceremony meal. It was a fantastic five star experience. Every one at the resort bent over backwards to make sure everything was absolutely perfect over our 2 day stay.

I stay on this hotel several times but this time was a lot different and what make me do this review was that was mosquitos inside the room I kill at least 4 in the morning when I wake up I was stung several times in several parts of my body plus in the morning was more mosquitos in top of that the A/C unit was not keeping up with the temperature in the room the room was on the warm side plus humidity When I checking out was not ask how was my staying on nothing just if I pay for my room the was weird
