Hyatt Ziva Cancun All-Inclusive

The property was very clean, though the rooms are a bit old. We had a small leak from the AC after it rained, but everything else was spotless. There are Pilates and yoga classes with really great instructors. The Kids Club was the highlight of my kids’ trip — they had nonstop activities and the friendliest staff! Marina was absolutely awesome and so kind to my kids. They made keychains and bracelets, had a tent party, movie time, and fun water activities. Frida was so funny, and Paola was caring and playful — truly amazing with the kids. There were lots of water activities — we went snorkeling, which was an incredible experience. Swimming with the dolphins and just watching them was beautiful. The resort has many pools and two sides. What I didn’t like was that the main tall building is adults-only, while the 5-floor building is for families with kids. The restaurants close for a few hours in the middle of the day, but you can go to Chevy’s or order room service during that time. There also aren’t many food options near the beach — just a few hours of grilled burgers service. Came many times to Cancun but stayed at other hotels. Guarantee to say that Hyatt Ziva is the best resort for family in Hotel Zone. Nice and friendly staffs, always smile greeting with guests. All the restaurants offer great options and tasty food, also each restaurant has their own special drink menu. Beach is right in front and back of the hotel. No big waves there, so can see some fishes swim around.

The pools are NOT heated enough to swim in. Some of the buildings had large peeling paint and needed to be painted. The bathroom mirrors needed to be replaced. The edges were not discolored.

This was our 4th time staying here and had a fantastic time as always! We were during my son's birthday and the small details that they provided during the trip made it extra special. The last two days we rented a cabana and Alexis was our server and did an amazing job. All the ladies in the Kidz Club also were extremely friendly and did a wonderful job with keeping all the kids engaged. This resort really thinks of everything!

I rented a cabana for $169, but I was very disappointed with the experience. Before purchasing, I highly recommend checking the official website for the price list and details of what’s included. Don’t just buy whatever the staff tries to sell you without verifying. According to the website, the cabana rental should include premium bottled water and champagne, but we didn’t receive either of those. If I’m paying $169, I expect to receive everything that’s promised. It felt like they just charged us without giving the full experience. Double check before you pay!

Renovations on 4 th floor very disturbing!!

Excelente hotel e instalaciones de primera, diferentes opciones de restaurantes. La única observación que tengo es respecto a la falta de camastros en las albercas, me parece que no son suficientes para la cantidad de huéspedes. La atención del personal de 10, excepto en la zona de albercas

The resort was gorgeous and well kept, staff was very nice and ready to serve you! Amenities were great, pools are nice and well kept. The spa and staff were excellent!

The room was spotless and service was impeccable. The pools were immaculate and absolutely stunning. Anything we asked for was immediately provided! Staff were friendly, polite, and always available.

Ocean view was nice, however we waited 2.5 hours to check in and were told our room would be ready in 30 minutes due to it being cleaned. Upon arriving in our room we noticed certain areas hadn’t been cleaned. There was the previous guest long black hair on shower glass door and shower wall.

Clean room, friendly staff, excellent service, AC in room excellent, room service 24hrs and convenient when traveling with kids. Medical staff on site and quick to respond. Plan to return to this resort!

Every staff member was kind and courteous, and went above and beyond. Rooms were exceptionally clean service twice daily never had to wait for anything. Wonderful day very clean. Food was great. Felt very safe.

Resort rooms are old and need better maintenance

O quarto é amplo e confortável. Tivermos alguns detalhes de manutanção ma chegada, mmas trocaram o noss quarto e ficou tudo bem. A equipe é muito atenciosa, destaco o atendimento da Anna ( Butler) que não poupou esforços para tornar nossa estadia super agradável. A praia é maravilhosa e excelente para o banho. Achei a alimentação razoável. Apesar de all inclusive, o que era premium não estava incluso e precisava ser pago à parte. Comprei pensando que era uma propriedade somente para adultos,( pois assim tinha sido anunciado) mas apenas um dos edificios do complexo , o bloco Turquoise onde estava meu quarto é que era só para adultos. Se trata de um hotel resort para famílias cheio de crianças correndo e gritando felizes,

I loved the amenities, and service. The staff was always helpful and nice. While the room was always clean, there was an awful smell coming from the bathroom vent. Like sewage, so bad we just kept the bathroom door closed. Management came out , but there's nothing much that could be done.

Room was comfortable, great ocean view, friendly and attentive staff, and the culinary concierge made our trip extra special with focused attention on our dietary restrictions. Beaches and pools were fun, there was a special pool and play area for the kids which was very useful for our family, and the food was very nice. Good variety of options for planing out meals within the resort.

We stayed in a swim-up room and loved overlooking the ocean. The hotel's own beach is quite narrow, but it also connects to a large, wide public beach with a calm shallow lagoon. Between that and the two pools there are plenty of spaces to splash and sunbathe. To-go coffees at the coffee shop were friendly and efficient. Restaurants were better than your average all inclusive, and I really liked that there were extra themed snack carts that came out at different times of the day (churro, margarita, crepe). Cocktails were good. The self brewed beer was not good. In some resorts, the swim-up rooms have wait staff come by for drink orders, but they don't do that at this one.

We just returned from a romantic getaway at Hyatt Ziva Cancun, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Martin welcomed us with such kindness and efficiency at check-in, setting the tone for the entire trip. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. The pools are sparkling and beautifully laid out, and our swim-up room in the adults-only tower was perfect for a romantic escape. We loved being able to step right out into the pool and enjoy peaceful moments together with stunning ocean views. The beach is picture-perfect, with soft sand and turquoise water that felt like paradise. What really made our stay so special were the people. Omer, our butler, went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect—his thoughtful touches made it feel so personal. Hervik, who looked after us at the pool cabana, was outstanding—always attentive and ensuring we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Uriel, poolside, and the bartender kept the atmosphere lively and fun while still making us feel cared for. We also appreciated the managers, who were visible, approachable, and clearly committed to creating an excellent guest experience. The restaurants were fantastic as well—every meal was delicious, with so many choices to fit our moods, whether we wanted a romantic dinner or a casual bite. We requested a quiet room, but we were given a room on the 2nd floor above their dolphins pool and next door to a family with two little children who cried and made noise and cried all night long even though we were assured that they we’re giving us a quiet room. It seems their comprehension of English is not very good. That was the biggest problem we encountered in this resort.

Hyatt Ziva was very nice nothing spectacular, however the beds where horribly uncomfortable ( hard mattress) .. We will not return to the Hyatt ziva Cancun

The staff was incredible. The service was incredible. They don’t know the word “no” whatever you ask for and whatever you need is instantly taken care of. The front desk manager, Braulio p was so accommodating and really took care of us. He was so accommodating. The cabana/pool/beach manager made our whole trip. Eduardo maybe his name was. The food was excellent too. But the staff and service made us fall in love with the place.

Fantastic property, excellent service. Great restaurants and food choices. The staff was over the top attentive and friendly. The arrival however was confusing as the first person we met acted like he was with the hotel. Come to find out his job was to sell us on timeshare.he was hard to shake

The beach is beautiful but there wasn't not enough staff by beach or the pool. Loved the oacean view. I had asked to get move to a higher floor because the view from the first floor was minimal. I did asked to get upgrade because that's what it said to do on the Expidia app. They said they didn't show that. I showed them where it said it but still they said I would have to pay extra. I brought a friend with me because I been there before and I like it. They were suppose to call her about her room when it was ready around 3:30 and they didn't so I called them and they said it's been ready but no one called.

Friendly workers treat you like part of the family. They remember you when you return and it is Great!! It is truly Paradise!!

Bar Service was a little slow. Drink service around the pool was rare at best. There was a lack of staff quantity. The asain restaurant had very slow service. they bought out the main entree and then starters. At check in they dropped the ball and didnt hand me off to anyone after i checked in at the front counter. i just waited and went to the room and my tags didnt work then i had to come back to the front counter and they fixed my tags and then they got someone to bring my bags to thre room. Cabo Hyatt Ziva was very high end experience compared to this one.

Check in staff was unkind, mean, uncommunicative and unhelpful. They also uncharged me for my son when I clearly entered his age when I reserved the room. Didn’t even allow me to speak to a manager about it. Not ok! Such a bad check in experience. Not to mention gives a bad rap for Expedia and doesn’t make me trust my reservation through them!

The staff, the food, the amenities- this was really beyond expectations! We will be back.

Heidi in Concierge is the best. She was super responsive. The service is excellent overall.

The property was amazing and what helps is the super friendly staff. Natasha and Marie from the guest services area were our concierge and they were amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best and make us feel welcomed. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and they made it extra special for her by decorating the room and providing small gifts. Luis from the moongate teppanyaki restaurant was also very good. He made sure the food was great and made that dinner for us very memorable. Overall the resort was really nice. We loved that is was a family resort but it had the adult side if we wanted peace and quiet.

Excellent location and the amenities were amazingly clean. There were great options for dinning and transportation to and from the hotel.

Overall, the Hyatt Ziva was a very good stay for our group. The location is excellent, there is a wide variety of restaurants/bars, the staff is excellent and they delivered great value for the money. Other than the opportunities with the pool entertainment staff and the food at Tradewinds, everything else was great. You won’t be disappointed!

Hotel ÓTIMO!!! Diria que a melhor localização da zona hoteleira de Cancún. Muito seguro, com acesso a duas praias a norte que é privativa (linda e ótima para banho, e a sul que também é bonita e comprartinha com os demais hotéis.

The staff were really attentive and the food was amazing everything is walkable to the nearest markets and clubs. The hotel is really calm, clean and really family friendly.

This was just a great resort....they have every detail covered. We've been to Cancun a number of times, and this was probably my favorite resort....they have everything you could want in a resort, and service from everyone was just great! Location is perfect as well!

Debo empezar diciendo que el hotel es semi inclusive y no todo inclusion, en todos los restaurants te ofrecian langosta a un precio que empezaba en 129$, el buffet lo estan prepared por lo que no existia, solo disponible un area en el desayuno, en el almuerzo tenias qué conformarte con el restaurant Italiano, el de hamburgers y papas frutas o el de un restringido menu de comida mexicana que se llama cerveza donde la comida es de malisima calidad y pica variedad, el restaurant de mariscos igual de muy mala calidad. En el area de la piscina te niegan traerte un hamburger o algo de comer, tienes que irlo a buscar tu mismo pues solo tienes este beneficio si pagas una cabaña que te Cuesta 183$ el dia, terrible. Para todas las comidas te ofrecen una activists en el area de la playa pero esto también requiere un costo adicional. Pagan con un carrito con agua de coco y cada uno por un precio adicional de 11 dolares. Todo inclusion? Pues no se dejen engañar. Yo pague un costo adicional por una habitacion con vista al mar que incluia una botella gratis, la cual tuve que reclamar en el area del front desk pidiendo que por favor, fuera un Cabernet aunque fuera el mas barata, y la respuesta fue que era imposible pues solo podian ofrecerme un vino espumoso. A pesar de estar alojada en el hotel te cobran por la actividad con los delfines empezando en 112$ por persona, no se me hace justo el precio, deberia ser cuando mas 50$. Y ahora les pregunto: tengo razon o no?

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun resort was beautiful and you can’t beat the ocean views surrounding the property. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and the food choices were excellent. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.

The beach is a 10 very clean no sea weed and white sand. The food was on point best was Mexican and Hibachi, the steakhouse we left for last but was not the best. I wish they had more grill options for afternoon snacks. The rooms were ok nothing to complain about or rave about. We did stay in the Dolphin view. Drinks were a miss, make sure to ask for the better alcohol when ordering cause they use cheap liquor when making drinks especially by the pool bar. Joel on the beach always brought drinks fast and was super nice.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Ziva, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful, the beaches are stunning, and the entire property is kept spotless. The food was excellent across all the restaurants, and the hospitality from every staff member truly stood out. The Italian restaurant was especially impressive — the dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared. Their liquor and beer selection was also one of the best I’ve seen at an all-inclusive resort. Honestly, for an all-inclusive stay, you really can’t ask for anything better than this. Everything was spectacular, and I highly recommend Hyatt Ziva to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The food and drinks not a good quality

Excellent choice of restaurants and food. Habaneros was our favorite our waiters Alfonso, Rafael, Angel were extra helpful. Victor from Lorenzo’s also super awesome. The hibachi place was great as well our cooks fun and entertaining.

Service and staff were excellent. Beaches and pools were excellent. Food was very hit or miss. Drinks were subpar. Buffet was being renovated and that is my favorite dining option. Facility itself showing its age as rooms were already looking tired, beat up and dated. I was constantly being upsold services, food, and experiences even though its supposed to be an apl inclusive property. It felt like the base dining experience was being skimped on to force you to pay extra for premium dining options.
