Beautiful resort, very inclusive for everyone age and anything in between! Had sooo much fun! The restaurants food for dinner were ALL so fresh nd good. You wouldn’t even notice it was an all inclusive meal. The staff was soo nice and accommodated any need. Felt safe morning nd night. They had daily parties for night life the poured into their on site club which was sooo fun. A lot of daily water sports in the pool with swim up bars. I’ve never gotten so tan in my life lol. Rooms were cleaned daily sometimes twice a day something I’ve never experienced, lol I would say it’s more of a couples resort which was perfect for why we came, highly recommended! Very close to excursions and shops about 15mins. Ubers cost about $5 American dollars. Getting bck you will need a taxi had a hard time getting uber were none available. Taxi were a flat $20. Will recommend this resort!!!

The pool areas were really nice. Was not a huge fan of the music on friday or Saturday but the music on sunday was great. Staff was great throughout the resort. Xhale amenities were worth the upgrade. Food options were okay. Buffet was really good. Silk City was great. The Italian restaurant food could've been better. However the zucchini appetizer was amazing.

Fantastic resort. All of the dining options were solid, and the rooftop pool during the day was a blast. It was nice having a few twenty four hour options for food and snacks as well.

The room was very clean, the staff were all very helpful. The food was excellent -- however the buffet food was the same daily and there was no buffet option for dinner which is different from other resorts we've stayed at. Lots of snack options throughout the day like ice cream, the coffee shop, and the pool-side grills. All the pools are very clean and well tended to. The sand on the beach was lovely but the swimming space at the beach was quite limited and shallow but still nice.

Just spent a weekend with 3 friends at Breathless. This is my 8th time in Cancun and 1st time at Breathless. I’ve never left a review for any hotel but felt compelled to leave one for Breathless because I tried really hard to find a single thing wrong with this property and genuinely could not. It’s pristine with fantastic design features from the room to the lobby to the outdoor areas. All of us remarked how incredibly comfortable the bed was. Rooms are designed with glass shower in the room which feels luxurious. All throughout the hotel the furniture has what feels like Hamptons style decor with beige everywhere. So much areas for seating indoor and outdoor. Rooftop pool and lounge area had fantastic views since it’s on the 28th floor. And again….cabanas and lounge area furniture looked luxurious. Did yoga class one morning on the rooftop and it was amazing. Gym is well designed with new equipment and has everything you need. Hotel has a small club on premises which is nice and they had outdoor party with a DJ one night. Food was great - ate at the Italian and Pan Asian restaurants. Breakfast/dinner common area was fabulously designed with tons of food options. When I return to Cancun, it would be hard to choose anywhere else but Breathless.

The resort was okay overall. Pros: The rooms were modern and smart. My xhale room had ceiling speakers, streaming, a tablet, and smart controls, which I loved. Security was excellent; you had to check in and out when leaving the resort or heading to the beach. If you are looking to party; the club there was so much fun, including led lit up floor, fog, an awesome DJ, bar and really good air conditioning. The resort put a lot of effort into the details of their themed parties. Cons: The VIP/xhale service wasn’t worth it. I booked for my birthday but received no special touches, which was disappointing. The food was mediocre. Even the hibachi was inauthentic and not good which was an additional fee, room service tasted freezer-burned, and overall dining quality fell short. Resort activities were limited to high-energy options. Things life crafts or some sort of cooking classes would have been nice. The exclusive xhale rooftop pool filled up early with no seating left, and cabanas cost an extra $90 (usually included with upgraded rooms) throughout the entire resort. You also couldn’t eat by the pool if you didn’t buy a cabana. Staff in the xhale lounge weren’t helpful and often redirected me to the general concierge. Overall, the “VIP” experience felt more like a push toward timeshare seminars than a true upgrade. The parties outside lasted until 11pm everyday and you could hear it all if you have an oceanfront view.

I didn't like the beach area was to crowded by the general public. the bars close too early at 1am. there only one buffet, and they don't serve shots. they only have 2 bars open after 6pm so they pool bar closes at 6pm. only 2 pools. I wouldn't return unless they have a very great deal on there price.

The resort is very dirty and extremely loud. The customer service is terrible. My first room had public hair in the bathroom and on the toilet so they told me the room wasn’t cleaned yet so why would you give me this room that was a lie. The second room had hair on the coffee table and was right over the pool where they had an extremely loud party till 11pm. The food was terrible. The employees were nice at breakfast but that’s all I can say.

Very clean, excellent staff, good entertainment all day/night. Good food. Gener cleaned our room and I was totally impressed- he did a fabulous job. Our room was spotless and turn down service was the best.. The staff was friendly and all seemed to be happy to be there. Great resort and can’t wait to come back!

The staff is friendly but the cleaning is awful!!! We found a cockroach under the bed. And we get the VIP access and facilities. We paid extra at the time of booking for get a better room and get access to the roof top pool. DO NOT waist your money!!! They don’t even have a martinis glasses! we can turn off or change the channels on the TV because we don’t have the tv control. It was a mess! First and last.

The room was very clean, the staff were all very helpful. The food was excellent -- however the buffet food was the same daily and there was no buffet option for dinner which is different from other resorts we've stayed at. Every morning after checking in, I spoke with the front desk concierge about the uncomfortable temperature in our room. I even suggested switching to a smaller room in hopes it might be cooler, but nothing was done. I was repeatedly told that maintenance had checked the room and found the temperature to be "fine." Out of desperation, I called at 3 a.m. and requested maintenance again. This time, the technician and I used Google Translate to communicate and confirmed that the room was indeed hot. Yet, the next morning, the concierge casually acknowledged the issue, saying they had notes about the heat — but still, no action was taken. I had no reason to be dishonest about the problem, especially on our first day. What was most disappointing was the staff's attitude, which came across as, "You're already here, so deal with it." There was no real effort to resolve the issue or make things right. I strongly advise against booking here — not just because of the air conditioning issues, but because of the management's lack of urgency and care in addressing guest concerns.

We had the pool view room. The room was on level 12 of 28. It is the lowest level room and was gorgeous and clean. Plenty of size . 360 degree shower in center of room. Balcony for 2 . Plenty of space for us as we spend little time in the room

Aparartment is great just lack of manteniance. Remote controlers didn’t work. In the room a very very small tv not in the wall stand so you can’t watch tv in the room. These are great units and it’s a shame they are letting them go old so fast.

Hotel is modern, feels brand new, rooms are amazing. Area around the hotel with amenities avarage. Very loud music non stop. Food below avarage, bland. Long wait lines for dinner, 1-2hours during off season. I don’t know what would it be during season. The Beach is nice, they keep it clean. This is not a hotel to relax it’s a party scene.

Horrible check in experience. No notice prior to check in date that we would not have a room available due to “water and electrical issues”. Pretty sure the resort was just overbooked due to the recent hurricane in Jamaica. Was given no option but to be moved to another facility only to find out it was not an adults only resort. The second resort was not at all comparable. Had to complain numerous times and finally was moved back to our original resort. Lost a whole day of our vacation due to these issues.

Loved breathless soul! The staff were amazing and made us feel very comfortable. Very clean room and facility. We liked that there were multiple pools, lots of chairs/seating options, the beachfront was directly on the property which was great, food was surprisingly good for a resort (we went in expecting mediocre and ended up pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food). The only downside was the aggressive push to use the added “experiences”. We understand upselling is normal but the 5 emails/messages about the “coupons” and excursion options plus the “tour” which ended in a 20 minute review of the add ons was a bit much. Overall a 5/5 experience for us however. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The good news: The hotel is nice and the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and the beach area is nice. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The bad news: The check-in process seemed slow. We got to the hotel 5 and a half hours later than expected due to flight delays and they said our room wasn’t ready which we thought was a little odd. The worst part was that we both got food poisoning and had to spend the last day and a half in our room. Since the vacation was only for 3 nights it was disappointing. We are pretty sure the food poisoning came from the outdoor bbq that we attended the first night we were there. Perishable food and hot temperatures don’t mix!

It was amazing! Such a beautiful resort with so many beautiful people. The hospitality is out of this world. We tried almost all the restaurants. The views at Silk City is gorgeous in the morning and night. However the food at The French Restaurant “Coquette” was the best. The staff was so kind and friendly. Loved playing volleyball with Alex and Fabian. Michelle was so amazing and sweet. The deep tissue massage was amazing and the package is worth every penny. The hotel staff that kept our room clean and tidy were like ninjas. They were so quick yet amazing. Judith and her team was amazing. Samuel, Davi served us so well at Silk City. Cisar was so kind and quick at Coquette. This was our first and definitely not our last.

Beach had alot of seaweed and the sand looked dirty. Room was clean but water had a sulfur smell which they did try and fix but wasn’t completely gone. Staff was wonderful overall. The resort does not offer shuttle service to and from the airport so I was overcharged at the airport for cab to resort. I was told you cannot use Uber at the airport but was able to call Uber to take me back to airport which was $70 cheaper! Beware!

The property and most staff is great. Food and variety of it was good even for my picky friend. We went 4/12-4/19. Property is close to the airport and is located in the Cancun hotel area. Lots of car and foot traffic. What I didn’t like was I was told I had ocean view but it was on the side of the building so I’d consider partial. I did not receive vip benefits of upgraded room either. The free champagne was a coupon. In advance of our stay I contacted the hotel through Expedia and their Facebook. I never received response to my inquiries for birthday decorations or tour options. Our room was on the first floor and heard traffic through out the night so couldn’t enjoy open balcony to hear the ocean. Noise could be heard through closed windows and doors. I was told by another they had same issue and were on the top level of the higher tower.

The good: The staff at the hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooms are very nice. Picante, and Fish Nets restaurants are very good. The bad: the beach is awful, despite receiving message from the hotel saying that there was no sargassum, we found plenty and the smell was quite bad. The room was quite humid, and the sound isolation was not really good. We really didn’t like the French restaurant. Compared to other resorts we stayed previously in Cancun, we won’t come back.

The beach was small, few trees, lots of seaweed. Too many local people on beach who set up tents and hang towels on bushes. Not pleasant to look at when on vacation. Several children in the water. I felt like I was invading when I went into the water. I feel the public beach should not be anywhere in the resort area. This was extremely disappointing to me especially when I only visit the ocean once a year. It ruined the whole experience. The rest of the resort and staff were excellent. The room was amazing and food was good. The beach area needs some work.

The room was wonderful we were right on the corner of the Xhale Building and could watch the parties or go partake if we wanted as well. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast on the roof top which is exclusive for Xhale club was fantastic. The buffet was often cold and not great but might have been the times we went. I did end up with some stomach issues so I would suggest drinks with no ice, but there are pharmacies nearby should you need them. We were able to walk to the ferry to Isla Mujeres and felt very safe. Every time you leave the resort they ask for your name and room number which made me feel like they were gonna come find me if I went missing lol. We used uber most of the time and used the pin code option which was great! Also we used Nacho Tours for our transportation to and from airport highly recommend and ask for Luis he is the sweetest and so funny!! Of note if you go to xcaret there are no ubers in playa so plan accordingly, we had to take a taxi back and it was 100$! All in all we had a great time!

Food was good, hotel was clean, and the bus stop is right outside, which made getting around easy, though having shuttles would be a nice addition. The beach was really nice and currently much cleaner than the other side of the hotel zone. Only downside might be limited access to some events or areas unless you upgrade. Overall, a good experience.

I loved that this property was only 25-30 minute from the airport. It is more of a hotel feel rather than a large resort. There are 2 main buildings, a pool on the ground floor and 2 rooftop pools. The food and service was excellent and the place was very clean! A lot of music and activities. The only thing missing was a theater with shows but I don't really care for that. We enjoyed the nightly music which was a mix of life music and DJs.

The service, food, and staff were unbelievably amazing. However, the only complaints I had during my stay was the noisiness of the surrounding property. Constant road traffic noise. Also many locals spanning the beach. It didn’t feel exclusive on the beach. However, we felt very safe and had an overall amazing time. Elena from entertainment was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Breathless Cancún Soul! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

i didn’t like they have no fresh juices. I wanted my lemon drop made with real lemons. They use cheap products for your drink. Syrup. Nothing is fresh. This is crazy considering we are in mexico.

The property was very nice and the service received was amazing. In addition, for an all-inclusive resort the buffet food was good. A downside was that there were limited option for evening dining as more than half of the restaurants on site were closed and reservations were not an option so wait times were long leaving only the buffet as an option for most nights. Overall I had a great experience.

The property was beautiful and majority of the time staff was very attentive. The only thing I didn’t like was room service. Food was very cold and didn’t have many options. Also I hate how dinner time doesn’t have a buffet. So basically if you don’t eat before a certain time, you’re fighting over what place to eat because the seats are limited. The grill outside only had 2 cooks so lines were very long to eat burgers etc. other than that, it’s a very beautiful clean property

Staff was great...no food/dinner after 4pm. No buffet after 4pm lunch. Extremely long waits for restaurants that don't require reservations, 1 hour 40 minutes. Restaurants closed makes no sense. Vacation club presentation was definitely a timeshare, they claimed no pressure, but you had to say no 3 times to 3 different people. No bracelet model, no good, caused lines when giving your room number.

The room was very clean, the staff were all very helpful. The food was excellent -- however the buffet food was the same daily and there was no buffet option for dinner which is different from other resorts we've stayed at. Lots of snack options throughout the day like ice cream, the coffee shop, and the pool-side grills. All the pools are very clean and well tended to. The sand on the beach was lovely but the swimming space at the beach was quite limited and shallow but still nice.

Food was great! Never had a bad meal. Pool was clean and always had a chair without going to get one super early. Staff was polite and accommodating. Room and resort super clean!

The resort was okay overall. Pros: The rooms were modern and smart. My xhale room had ceiling speakers, streaming, a tablet, and smart controls, which I loved. Security was excellent; you had to check in and out when leaving the resort or heading to the beach. If you are looking to party; the club there was so much fun, including led lit up floor, fog, an awesome DJ, bar and really good air conditioning. The resort put a lot of effort into the details of their themed parties. Cons: The VIP/xhale service wasn’t worth it. I booked for my birthday but received no special touches, which was disappointing. The food was mediocre. Even the hibachi was inauthentic and not good which was an additional fee, room service tasted freezer-burned, and overall dining quality fell short. Resort activities were limited to high-energy options. Things life crafts or some sort of cooking classes would have been nice. The exclusive xhale rooftop pool filled up early with no seating left, and cabanas cost an extra $90 (usually included with upgraded rooms) throughout the entire resort. You also couldn’t eat by the pool if you didn’t buy a cabana. Staff in the xhale lounge weren’t helpful and often redirected me to the general concierge. Overall, the “VIP” experience felt more like a push toward timeshare seminars than a true upgrade. The parties outside lasted until 11pm everyday and you could hear it all if you have an oceanfront view.
