At Krystal Cancun, travellers praise the unbeatable beachfront location and friendly staff, while noting dated rooms, uneven maintenance, and nightlife noise; food and drink are mixed, with restrictive all‑inclusive rules and early bar closures frustrating some stays.

Stayed 6 nights

The hotel room was a bit outdated and definitely could use some work to update and make them cleaner looking. The bathtub was old and the hot water handle leaked a lot of water when turned on that caused the pressure to be very low while showering. The main issue we had was the building we stayed in had only 2 elevators and one of them broke the first day there and never worked the rest of our stylus so we had 8 floors of hotel guest trying to use one elevator and we were on floor 7 so we couldn’t use the stairs and had to spend time waiting for it a lot. One other issue I personally experienced was the bartender at the swim up bar always served the Hispanic looking people drinks before me even when I was waiting my turn in line, people would side step up to the window to skip the line. That reason is the driving force as to why we will take our business to somewhere else that doesn’t discriminate against English speaking guest.

The hospitality of the staff was amazing and I believe sets this property apart from the others. Cecilia was one of the hosts that first met us, had a special anniversary set up in our room without anyone even asking for it. You can tell that the entire staff cares about their patrons and that makes me want to return.

This hotel is next to the night life in the hotel zone so this is a perfect choice just for that reason other than that it isn't so great. I stayed at many all inclusive resorts through out México and this was the first one that had a limited drink menu and we paid for the all inclusive. What they did have was a premium menu that wasn't apart of the all inclusive that blew my mind. Also you cant start drinking until 11am. The food included in the all inclusive looked good but had no flavor at all. The resort is outdated but still looks nice and small
