It was good overall. Great view and beautiful beach without any rocks. Just make sure to travel during the non sea weed season. Close to supermarkets, clubs and ferry terminals. The only issue we faced was both elevators on our tower

Great location, the buffet was not very good, a lot of the food is cold, and breakfast is not great, but the beach bar was great. We loved the asian restaurant and Mexican restaurant. Struggled to find shade anywhere as only a handful of umbrellas. We had no issue getting a sunbed in the sun. Beach is beautiful. The pool was only waist deep everywhere so our knees were Dore by end of trip crouching down. We wished the beach bar stayed open longer, the only place upu can get a drink after 6.30 is the lobby bar and it does feel like you are sat in a lobby, so we went out every night. We probably would stay again as the location was amazing, rooms were comfortable, we did not hear any noise at all from the nightclubs in our room.

Room super clean. The Staff súper courteous as always. However, was only one elevator working our entire stay (5 days) and were times that we had to take the stairs instead (our room was at the 7 floor) our last day was several people checking out and using that one elevator that out of the sudden it stop working and had to take the stairs. Fortunately, one of the staff members let us take the service elevator while he was taking care of the non working elevator.

We stayed in the corner unit, where we could open the windows from front that is facing to the ocean and the side, which is facing to half ocean and half city. It also had a balcony facing to ocean, overall, it was a beautiful room. We loved it. And it was all inclusive. Restaurants were amazing. We loved all the food and service. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Only thing we didn’t like was elevator It was slow, but we were staying on the fourth floor and we were having so much fun that we didn’t really care about the elevator, on the second day we got used to using the stairs 😁

The good: the view anf the ocean! As all hotels on the zone have great beach and views. The food was good, not great not terrible. The resort itself is clean, and staff are friendly (like most hotels), great wifi.. The bad: no dining, food or drink options past 10:45! All bars close at 6pm and the lobby bar closes at 10:45. We have been to many resorts and have never ever experienced this. The mini fridge is not stocked with alcohol either. They say the reason for the 10:45 closure and no stocking of alcohol is because they are a "family resort"!?? Every resort ive been to is a family resort?? They say to order room service ,but its 5$US everytime, and its maximum 2 beers at a time! They also have zero entertainment on site. No shows, no music ,no live entertainment. So if you want a very boring resort, this would be it. To top it off, they want eveyone in bed by 10:45, but their next door neighbors (mandalay beach resort and coco bongo) blasts music on the beach until 5am. So for them to want everyone in bed early and not be able to actually go to bed cause the music is so loud, makes it very confusing . If you do book here ,do yourself a favour and book the tower farthest from the coco bongo

Loved our stay! Only thing we would change would be the bar hours! We wanted all inclusive so we could drink unlimited but it was limited due to bars closing at 10:45 and opening at noon.

The entire building looks very old. Even the white towels looked disgusting. The furniture and doors were dated. There was no wall decoration on the halllways. We found a disgusting spot in the bedding. It was NEVER CHANGED AT ALL. No extra pillows. The extra mattress never was delivered as we requested.

The first room we were in was a balcony room but it was moldy and toxic. We stayed in this room 5 nights but I was coughing and the smell was very apparent. I wish we would have moved sooner. The room across the hall was not moldy and was clean, but no balcony. The rooms on the Oceanside are likely very damp and moldy. The building needs to be renovated and resolved of mold. I would not have bought into their vacation package specifically due to this issue. The staff were wonderful, the food options were great and if you tipped the staff, the drinks kept coming without asking. The amenities were great - the kids had a blast in the pool, we enjoyed our spa massages, singing karaoke at night was a highlight, and the swim up bar was quite convenient. The boys enjoyed the activities particularly the pool party with bubbles! It was convenient to be able to access the ocean with lots of loungers with shade. We also purchased several excursions through the property and it was very convenient with transportation provided right at the lobby. All in all an enjoyable stay and other than the moldy balcony room, it was very enjoyable!!!

The housekeeping did a great job we stayed in room number 1531. Our room was always clean. Kudos to the housekeeping. The dining staff are very kind and the barista’s were really good. Our only problem was the noise the banging music from mandala beach club it was so loud and couldn’t sleep. It was terrible. That’s the only problem we encountered.

It was nice being right by the beach which was relaxing. They have a nice pool but we were at the beach mostly. The Bali beds at the beach you have to buy a bottle and spend a certain amount of money for you to be able to rent it for the day. The food or desserts weren’t the best in the buffet not the restaurants. The buffet should have more options for breakfast. Not worth all inclusive for drinks as you’re mostly drinking mixer not really any alcohol in the drinks. We found a roach in our room our first morning. I was given VIP status but was never informed about it nor any of the perks until the last day when they left a card on our table. Someone woke us up early to go down to get a gift they had. Once I spoke to them, the gift was only if we go to a meeting and have them talk to us about the perks on becoming a rewards members and a tour but only in the mornings for a couple hours. Reminded me of what they do to get you to do a timeshare. The beds are very hard in the rooms and not comfortable at all. On our first 2 days after housekeeping came we had to call for towels because they weren’t replaced. Needless to say I wouldn’t stay here again. Location was convenient but not worth returning.

I had two days of zero sleep. The music coming from the bars/nightclubs around the hotel were so loud, you could barley hear the TV when it was turned up to its loudest level, and sleep, forget about sleep, the bass and music was so loud, you would think it’s in your room. If you do not take my word for it, ask for room 875. You have been warned.

The room look nothing like the picture. Some of the outlets in the room. The water in the shower had a strong bad smell. The furniture in the room was out dated and falling apart. The best part of the room was the view it’s breathtaking. The pools was amazing and the property was beautiful and it’s near a lot of places.

There are clubs that are close to the resort and they seem to be trying to be the loudest, as a result you hear that loud music at night. Property is pretty old. Make sure if you are showering no one flushes the toilet or you will burn. Buffet was alright. Staff was great and willing to help.

Staff ignored us at check in, without saying anything, just talking between them. July 29th no electricity at hotel for at least 7 hours... Couldn't charge my laptop and obviously no AC anywhere no explanation from the staff or any advice.. check out was horrible... Waited 45 mins. In line to checkout. Staff is extremely slow. Waiters at the buffet aren't enough or just don't show up, it's extremely hard to get a drink. Good remarks: location, clean hotel, sandy beach, food is good., pools are above average.

The service here is amazing the wait staff are amazing! Sergio is spectacular and was always so kind and hard working—- he made our visit so special! We tried drinks we never even heard of and he constantly made every visit to buffet so memorable. He is the best waiter we’ve ever had in our life. Lulu, our room cleaner left us amazing towel animals and really made the room amazingly special. This is our second time here and the experience was so special this time because of the staff. I will visit again just because of Sergio and Lulu. Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts!

Arriving here after a long day of traveling checking in was extremely disappointed. They only had 2 ppl at the front desk. Took 45min to check in. After that someone walked up to us right away to try and get us to come to a time share presentation (didn’t even give us time to breath) The All inclusive package is not worth it. The food was terrible. Restaurants require a reservation and they make it nearly impossible to get one. By the time you get to the counter to try and get a reservation at any of the restaurants, they tell you it’s all booked out. If you complain a little they magically have an early reservation. They claim that they are fully booked at the restaurants but when you pass by the restaurants are empty. Plenty of empty chairs. They try to save money by making ppl eat the at buffet and the buffet is terrible. We ate at the Asian and Mexican restaurant and stayed there for a couple hours. The entire time there was empty table around. Getting a reservation at the all inclusive restaurants shouldn’t be that difficult. The bar is only open from 11am to 11pm. The rooms have very thin walls. Housekeepers pass by really early slamming doors. Unfortunately we had some young college kids staying next to us on our last time. Sounded like they had a DJ inside there room lol I called to complaint but no one ever came by and we had to be up very early the next day. Needless to say I will NEVER stay here again.

Excellent stay at Krystal during spring break! Long dining hours. Solid food options for all-inclusive. All inclusive package allows you to make reservations at 3 of their restaurants and they are all really good. Polite staff. Very close to bars and clubs in Zona Hotelera. Excellent views, nice pool setup. Easy beach access. Clean rooms. Beautiful property. The all inclusive drinks are pretty weak though. You can have multiple without feeling drunk. We will be coming back!

The hotel’s location is truly excellent—it’s the best I’ve stayed at in Cancun. It’s close to all the nightlife attractions, near supermarkets, and the color of the sea is beautiful. Overall, the hotel is good, the food is good, but the rooms definitely need an update. The restaurant facilities are nice, but the rooms are in urgent need of renovation. They’re very old—old beds, old bathrooms, old furniture. The staff is generally okay. Half of them are very friendly, while the other half just seem like they don’t want to be there and treat you carelessly.

The location was great, the condition was OK, the bedding was good, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The buffets were horrible. You could tell that they were economizing on everything. Wow Every place I’ve ever stayed in Cancun has had the offering of individual yogurt servings. Their bread was dry and unedible There was no breakfast meat no bacon no ham nothing like that what they had was turkey hotdogs sliced up into grease balls that were served cold. You could tell that they were not spending any money on the buffet. It was all cheap. Five entrées offered three of them were potatoes, orange juice that’s watered down sour cream that’s watered down dressings for salad that’s water down. They thin everything out and they think we don’t notice The fact that they don’t have bacon or sausage or anything on their breakfast buffet starts your day out knowing that everything is going to be really cheap we spent $1800 and some change for six nights and the food was horrible unless you were able to book into one of the Restaurants. Every bit of food was substandard high fat not much effort put into cooking it. You can disguise cheap cuts of meat and food if it’s prepared, nice but three choices of potatoes for breakfast, highly disappointed and feel cheated.

El servicio all inclusive es muy limitado. Los alimentos no son adecuados en sabor ni en el modo de preparación. Las bebidas incluidas muy limitadas, respeto al alcohol comentan que en ron srrvice es hasta las 11 pm pero después de esa hora puedes pedirlas con cargo extra, es decir puro negocio. No tiene la calidad de un resort de 5 estrellas. El personal para room service es lento. Está bien ubicado para el centro de convenciones y la playa. Si tienen oportunidad busquen otro hotel cercano y si es necesario en Krystal no paguen el all inclusive, es una verdadera mentira.

The hotel accommodations and amenities was good. The buffet restaurant food was horrible , dinner was the worse and the other 3 restaurants didn’t have many reservations available while I was there. So I paid for all inclusive and I had to go out to have dinner. The bar was also very crowded, not many servers and the drinks tasted like was water down.

The all inclusive is not really all.inclusive. it hits you when you sit down and the menu is presented. There are.premium meals that is not part of the all inclusive. The hotel should make this transparent at their booking website. Also, the alcoholic dirnks have a charge for single malt JW Black etc. Which are considered premium. This also needs to be disclosed.

They try to save money by making ppl eat the at buffet and the buffet is terrible. We ate at the Asian and Mexican restaurant and stayed there for a couple hours. The entire time there was empty table around. Getting a reservation at the all inclusive restaurants shouldn’t be that difficult. The bar is only open from 11am to 11pm. The rooms have very thin walls. Housekeepers pass by really early slamming doors. Unfortunately we had some young college kids staying next to us on our last time. Sounded like they had a DJ inside there room lol I called to complaint but no one ever came by and we had to be up very early the next day. Needless to say I will NEVER stay here again.

The beach is excellent! The location is great! The best beach view from balcony. The alcoholic was not great, I had the all inclusive and if you wanted the good liquor you were charged extra for it. At times, it was difficult to get reservations for the extra restaurants on property.
