Food and hospitality are amazing . Unfortunately for us the beach area was not available due to excessive see weed accumulation. If you are a person that’s likes to visit hotels for there beach accessibility this is not one of them . I would definitely check before booking how accessible the beach is during your stay . I would definitely stay again if the beach was accessible. But what they lack in beach accessibility they make up with hops and food. Black Iron restaurant is a must !!!

The hotel is beautiful don’t get me wrong, the problem is they close part of the pool with activities at 5 then leaving us with nothing else to do. It’s way too early. The restaurants are booked a weeks advance so the morning when you arrive you can’t get any restaurants reservations. No exceptions. The staff maybe 90% of them are not happy like they hate their jobs or are all underpaid that’s why they are not helpful. And when we checked out of our rooms my husband when to the room to get our luggage out at 1145 and they blocked our door key which check out is at 12. When I went to ask the front desk they gave me no other option. I honestly wouldn’t go back go find. I did speak to a manager and didn’t do nothing just apologize. There is no waves and all the other activities in the hotel you have to pay extra for them so you are forced to do them because the pool closes early.

The hotel was was really clean the food was okay. The restaurant food portion is really small. The huge property smells like the beach put the smelly smell. Definitely book through hotels.com you receive credits that you would to pay for bowling, escape room, golf, baseball, spa, & laser tags to our extra fees but through hotel you only pay 30%. A lot of walking through the hotel can stress that enough 😭! Very close to the airport. Believe it or not uber was actually good to get around in. Please bring cash can’t stress that enough either.

I recently stayed at AVA Resort Cancun and unfortunately had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the room. There was a strong musty, mold-like smell throughout our stay, and the humidity inside the room was excessive. Even after an entire day, our swimsuits never dried, which made the room feel damp and uncomfortable. The ocean itself also had a very unpleasant smell, so we didn’t enjoy spending much time by the beach. The restaurant reservation system was another frustration. Making reservations through the app was confusing and difficult, and it often felt harder than it should have been for a resort of this level. The food was also disappointing. Although the resort is all-inclusive, many restaurants served surprisingly small portions, and the quality didn’t live up to expectations. The dishes often failed to capture the character of each restaurant’s cuisine. Ribo was by far the biggest disappointment during our stay. We also booked a massage at the spa, but the massage technique was below average and not what I would expect from a luxury resort. There were several smaller inconveniences as well. The safe in our room did not work, and immediately after checking in, we were approached by staff trying to sell resort memberships or vacation packages. Instead of receiving a proper introduction to the resort and its amenities, the focus seemed to be on sales, which left a poor first impression. The resort’s location was also not ideal if you’re hoping to explore C

The hotel is great. Great food, great staff and great amenities. Unfortunately the beach was full of algae and smelled bad and our room had a bathroom door that did not close and a leak from the bathroom appeared on the last days. All the North section of the hotel smelled like humidity/ mold. Very unpleasant smell. I had to wash all the close that I took even the ones I did not used since the smell got impregnated on everything.
