Real Plaza is a very good hotel located very close to downtown historic centre. I would rated with 5 stars, but the room had a bad odor from the drainage in the bathroom. We had to cover it with a plastic bag. By my experience as an Architect it could be due to a lack of a vent, or ineficient vent location. The second issue was the noise level. At night there are many teens outside doing races with cars or motobikes. Since the windows are not noiseproof, we just had hard time to fall asleep. Otherwise, it is very good. Customer Service is excellent. The restaurant is very good, the gym is also in very good condition. The elevators work perfectly. I would highly recommend it if you plan to stay for several days. One more thing that could also improve is to have a small fridge and a microwave.

The spectacular rooftop with pool and spa is not available after 7pm daily and closed completely on Mondays, so it was so sad when we checked in on Sunday night and could not enjoy the view and pools. Why would you advertise such a nice view and pools and not allow your guests the sunsets from the rooftop? Such a shame! It was the only reason we booked this hotel. The location was great and walking distance to many great restaurants and central park. Personally think management should change the roof hours to 9pm instead of 7pm so the guests can enjoy the sunsets.

Stayed 1 night

We had stayed two nights in a row but that wasn't the initial plan. The first night we were on the 6th floor facing the back of the hotel and the room was very nice and modern. The second night we were placed on the 9th floor facing the street because of the view. It was more rustic but both rooms had very hard beds. I'm used to soft beds and was not able to sleep very good. Other than the beds, the stay was very nice. Second night we had my mother in law traveling with us and she had just been released from the hospital. They were attentive to her needs by providing a wheelchair to the room. I would recommend the hotel aside from the hard beds.

We stayed in room 622. Roon was clean, the beds are old an missed - shapped with bumps in some places. The restoom had a sewer like smell. It was nice to have an rionan ironing board in the room. The food in the restaurant was ok and service was slow. The clening ladies on floor 6 do a grear job! The girl and guy at the restaurant were polite ang helpful.
