Hotel was excellent and rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned daily. Restaurant at hotel is buffet style however there’s a chef to make you special meals if you require one. Free parking underneath the hotel cars are safe. There are restaurants right in front of hotel with live free music family atmosphere restaurants and people with families outside dancing and eating. There is a park across the hotel and they have different activities nightly. We stayed July 20 - 26 . We felt safe and had no problems. Taxi fare is around 120 pesos around 6 us dollars. There are banks to the right of the bank, one block down. I used my us bank debit card at bank and got pesos. Cheaper than going to an exchange place. Use atm instead at banks. Again I used my us debit card to retrieve pesos cheaper then using exchange places. Very amazing place and family atmosphere. Loved it well return to see more of Vera Cruz. Must visit Orizaba it a distance away take taxi and you have to buy tolls there’s about six total that’s about 280 pesos each plus taxi fare. Orizaba is known for the cleanliness city in Vera Cruz. Take the high ride up the mountain. Beautiful scenery and views. Lots of beautiful things to do there. It is also very family Atmosphere it’s an all day. Take your water bottle. People are very friendly and respectful.

The hotel is outdated especially the restroom, the tub is peeling and has mold stains. It was kind of dangerous for my 75 year old mom, very hard to get in and out of the bathtub. We did love the location and the staff was very friendly!

The room was spacious and fairly clean, I loved the view to the central garden, it didn’t have microwave, fridge or iron which was needed. I had booked a room for 3 but didn’t realize that I accidentally booked a king suite, so I requested to be moved to a room with 2 beds, and they accommodated without any issues. Upon check out they helped us calling a taxi to the airport. I loved the fact that there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops and attractions near by like the malecón and San Juan de Ulua.
