Trickle Creek Lodge

The room was ok. Pillows were terrible. There was a leak in the bathroom that had clearly been going on for a while because there was mold 1/4 of the way up the cabinet and a large puddle. The shampoo and conditioner were terrible. The restaurant was only open for dinner and only until 9 pm. It was closed for breakfast. The hot tub was half full, the nets barely worked and it was absolutely filthy. Literally dirty. And again only open until 9 pm. For $335 for one night I was pretty disappointed.

It’s clean enough, also could use some updates to plumbing and carpets. Friendly staff, great location and good prices. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working and the heated pool was barely working. However The place does the job and the entire family had a positive experience.

Staff were pleasant. Front desk closed at 6 pm so i couldn't access the hot tub as my key stopped working at 8 pm. Room was very small. Found the room to be quite clean though. No fitted sheet on the mattress was a bit odd.

Ski-in/Ski-out was great! The hotel is old, and the hot tub is tiny. It's basically a 4 person hot tub for the entire resort.

The pool was terrible! Was so disappointed to stay here specifically to have a pool day with the kids in the hot sun and it was so dirty, full of bugs and slimy. Not impressed to travel a far distance and not even enjoy the amenities. Please at least have somebody maintain the pool properly.

Ski in/Ski out is so convenient. You can get free lockers to store your skis.

Disappointed. Came with my family after a year off. Lift is finally running. The skiing is great. Hotel is in rough condition. Rooms are getting old. Wallpaper bubbling and peeling old looking, walls are marked up. Sheets on the bed were ripped and in poor condition. The internet is terrible. You can ask for boosters but they are difficult. The swimming pool hot tub area has always been fun. However, this year one hot tub is not working. Jets in the other hot tub not working. None of this is shared until you arrive for your trip. So an entire hotel worth of guests are trying to use limited facilities. Makes for a poor experience. On the bright side snow was good.

The hotel has seen better days! Hot tubs are broken. Pool had flies in it and was cold. Front desk staff are arrogant and snobby. One elevator that barely works….list goes on. Don’t recommend at all!!!

We stayed here for a week and will never return. The room was full of hair, and there was no room service throughout our stay to replenish towels or empty the garbage. When we requested fresh towels, we were told to wait until after 4 PM to see if any were available. Additionally, we had to take our own garbage down to the parkade, which was broken the entire week. This meant we had to compete with daily hill users for parking. The “heated” pool was barely warm enough to prevent ice from forming, making it uncomfortable to be in for more than a few minutes. While some staff members were friendly, others were unpleasant and difficult to deal with. The only positive about Trickle Creek Lodge is its direct walkout access to the hill. However, if you can manage a short walk across the parking lot, I strongly recommend staying at Mountain Spirit Resort or any other nearby accommodation.

Low quality shampoo and conditioner. No room cleaning provided during our stay. Extra blanket had cigarette holes in it. Quite disappointed

Clean room and friendly staff. Great access to the alpine resort. Room could use some sprucing up but very comfortable.

Nice and comfortable apartment with lovely view. But unfortunately the noise from the adjacent apartments heating/aircon systems was very loud. We turned ours off because of the noise. Luckily we had earplugs left from our flight so we could sleep.

Outdated but adequate and clean. Could use some upkeep.

Property was your typical ski chalet. Rooms are older and worn, the pull out couch was in rough shape, springs coming through, angled towards your head so my son had to sleep backwards on it. Visible springs poking through the couch cushions. Bathroom shower very noisy. Was ok for a 1 night stay.

Far from everything. Terrible wifi. Staff seemed gloomy and unwelcoming and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them when checking in. One person had pretty bad body odour at the desk (I think it was the guy who prepared the room). Morning staff was friendlier and normal. There was some kinda unknown clear/white liquid on the carpets. It was fresh too, assuming some kind of product? No idea. It grossed me out so I didn't want to take my shoes off the whole time. The staff were kinda weird, kept asking the other if the room is ready repeatedly and the other answered repeatedly. Makes me wonder what was wrong with that room. Working fireplace. Depressing lighting. Desperately in need of a facelift, everything is old and outdated. Bathroom fan was so loud. Took forever for hot water to come out of the tap sink. Pet stains on the elevator carpet. This place left such a bad impression I could never stay here again nor recommend it.

Love the location. King bed was comfortable. AC was truly appreciated. Nice to have a kitchenette. The room is dated… flooring and tub are worn. Time to renovate.

This was our second year staying here for a dance competition. Unfortunately, the experience was again tainted by one particular woman at the front desk. Her attitude toward customers is consistently unpleasant—she’s rude, dismissive, and unprofessional when answering even basic questions. It’s disappointing, especially when everything else about the stay is decent. We hope the hotel addresses this, as it really affects the overall experience.

The property is nice. However the front desk staff is extremely rude and unkind and not helpful. I’ve never experienced such awful service!

Lovely property, great staff

We had a 1 bedroom suite which was a good size, king size bed was very comfortable and the separate living room and kitchen ok, unit was clean, but there is a need for some serious maintenance, some things broken, some don't work and some things don't work properly. The lady that checked us in was friendly and helpful, also the lady in the laundry who helped with our recycling, also housekeeping ladies were lovely, but l have to say the other people at reception never acknowledged you when you came in, nor were they friendly when you had a question, it seemed to us as guests were more a nuisance to them, not welcoming at all.

Staff were rude. Had an issue with payment. Staff told me to sit down and when I was talking to another guest, she was in the phone and told me to be quiet. Was treated absolutely terrible. Check in wasn’t until 4pm the place was quiet. Wouldn’t allow earlier check in. Pool was cold. Hot tub small not enough room. Couldn’t use the hot tub because a group was sitting in it. One restaurant with limited hours. Way over priced for what is it was.

The place was stunning. The reception with the front desk clerk all shifts was concerning. I observed many interactions with other guests and the desk clerks were outright rude.

I will start off by saying when we stayed here in November it was a nice visit and that is why we returned. However this time was quite the opposite experience. We arrived giving ourselves 2-3 hours before their restaurant and pool would be closing but when we arrived the line to check in was backed up. They were having issues with the key cards and so check in took a long time. 30 minutes. When it was a finally our turn we were told that the elevators were broken and had been since the previous morning. When I heard that I asked why they didn’t think to notify their customers of this potential issue given our adult daughter is disabled and we didn’t pack expecting to haul up multiple flights of stairs. I clearly wasn’t happy but I wasn’t rude or disrespectful. The lady working the front desk was not apologetic in the least and snapped at me “did I want to find another hotel instead” I was so shocked at how rude this staff was that I didn’t even know what to say. So we proceeded to now waste another hour of our time hauling about 5 trips worth of stuff up the stairs while our daughters waited excitedly to swim. At this point we were exhausted, sweaty and had wasted most of our evening on check in and hauling loads of heavy suitcases. We have stayed at many places on our annual road trips but not sure we have ever dealt with someone as rude and lacking basically any empathy. A waste of $448. Could of done manual labour at home and had a better time. See Google for full revie

Fantastic location. Great paths for walking the dog. Also, a quick drive to amenities downtown.

Our stay was very comfortable. Great pet friendly resort with lots of areas to walk your dog outside the resort. Location was good, just a short drive into downtown Kimberley. Loved that there were laundry facilities available as well.

The Trickle Creek Lodge sits right above the quaint friendly town of Kimberly. Beautiful setting with a paved trail- “Alpine to Plaz” that takes you right into town. Great for biking and hiking! Totally will return- staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and had kitchens to accommodate eating in after or before a long day of activities in the summertime. We got a studio which was nice but next time we’ll ask for a balcony to enjoy the views and long summer nights.

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel. We wished we could stay longer and enjoy the pool area but we were on the run. It is a bit away from the downtown but that was not a problem for us. We really enjoyed the dinner there. Chad, our server was a super nice guy. The food was awesome and the place was clean, upscale and great.

No amenities, no restaurants.. they don't tell you until check-in. Suites are nice was clean.

Our room was very nice. One of the hot tubs was closed. We had to share the one hot tub with two drunk men arguing very loudly. A little uncomfortable. The dining room was closed so we ate in the bar. The food was not worth the money we paid.

The place is need of some serious updating. The morning staff person wasn’t pleasant. The carpets were dirty. The couch was saggy and dirty. The one hot tub wasn’t working. It was a hassle to have to get the microwave fixed and the right coffee for the coffee machine they provided in that room. They charged all the hotel taxes on the pet fee as well as the room. The restaurant was only open less than half the week.

No restaurant until Wednesday. Then only after 4pm. Dishes are 1970s. Only coffee in the mornings.

The hotel advertised restaurants and a bar but none were available. This should have been clear when booking.

Good hotel, very comfortable with nice balcony and fireplace. Only reason for 4 star was lack of on property cooked breakfast options... the restaurant was only open for evening meal, I would have thought with it being Ski season it would be open for breakfast.....
