I was only staying 1 night on a work trip, it's a great hotel for this type of stay. The property conditoin is good, parking is great, nice new TVs and the pub/restaurant on the main floor was good and convenient. I would recommend this place for easy access from Hwy or for short-term stays for work or with family. Not much to walk to around the hotel, so expect to drive to where you are going.

Overall a great facility. Decent lounge and food. Tim Hortons next door. Subway & Triple O is a 5 minute walk. Wal-Mart & Canadian Tire 8 minutes walk. Whole oittle complex of stores within a 2-3 minute drive. Highly recommended. Small gym on aite. Absolutely recommended this facility if you're in the Duncan area.

Hotel rooms were nice, very clean and a good layout. Restaurant/lounge attached so meals were great. Only cons, no hot tub, pool is outdoor and had one breakfast where the eggs had chunks of onion, wasn't a fan. Other than that it was a great stay!

Liked that it was CLEAN and conveniently located. Loved the gym! Only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom ceiling was unfinished. Like they renovated the property and forgot to finish the ceiling (see pic). Toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet and uncomfortable using it as too close to the wall (could have been because of the incorrect seat).

Check in at 4 pm. Front desk said that was standard in all BW facilities. Checked with BW Customer service and found that was a lie. If one wanted an earlier check in it was an extra $30. Overall, the feeling was financially desperate. A lot of little things said the owner/ franchisee was nickel and dimeing it. Duncan needs competition. At the least the owner and management of this hotel need to check into the BW Northgate in Nanaimo to see what a quality experience looks like. I don't think I will return to this location ecen though i am a loyal BW customer. The lack of consistency between BW locations is very apparent in this location.

The only problem I had at this property was I left my straightener behind in the bathroom. I called once and was told I would get a call back the next day. Waited two days, called back and then was told they don't have it. Luckily my mother in law lives in the area and I asked her to go there and talk to them which she did. They found my straightener after about 5 minutes of her being there. I doubt that I would've gotten it back if she hadn't gone in there

We were super happy with our stay here! The staff (especially Vijay) were exceptional and super accommodating for our team stay. Kids loved the outdoor pool and breakfast in the morning. The parents enjoyed the convenience of amenities around and knowing we’re in good hands.

An excellent place to stay while visiting family in the Duncan area. Although billed as merely "Continental", the included breakfast was amazing. Style of eggs varied from day to day (scrambled, omelette, Fritatta), ham or sausage, toast, croissants. Yoghurt and fruit for \'on the go\' breakfast. Ample coffee and juice. Pleasant staff. Bar/restaurant on premises.

The location was good. The room was also good. The breakfast was terrible. No one around to ask for anything. No juice available. Food choices were limited and no hot food available. It was all pre packaged food and nothing fresh. Frozen waffles and no waffle station. No regular fresh coffee only decaf. A woman came into the room with headphones and no communication with the guests and started cleaning up without even asking if we needed anything. I’m appalled at this standard. This is usually a good group of hotels but this is the poorest standard I have seen and not likely to stay again if no improvement.

Would not allow early check in, Bizarre but fine. Could hear the lounge/karaoke in our room, just put the TV on. Went for breakfast at 9:15, as it ended at 9:30 which is early for a weekend continental, in my opinion. When arrived, I find that the limited amount of food was being cleared already. myself and another guest had to ask for the server to leave until we could get our food. stale cookies, broken toaster a few apples for fruit, multi coloured scrambled eggs, unappealing warm sandwich meat slices, dried up hash browns. Had staff carpet cleaning outside our door early morning. Just an overall unpleasant experience. Not sure I would stay there again, other than for the convenience. Priced for too high for the standard of the room, beakfast, etc.

Our room was spacious and quiet even though we were next to the mainenance room. We were not told at checkin that if you want room service you have to ask for it, staying for 3 nights is not what we expected (and on all our travels have not encounted this before), especially having the basics done such as empty bins, refill tea/coffee, paper cups and toilet paper. Breakfast was basic. Staff not very approachable.

The rooms were clean. The staff were great, nice roomy bedroom, outdoor pool looked great although we didn’t get a chance to use it. Pillows were horrible. And I must say it is the worst continental breakfast we ever had. Just white toast, no selection, no muffins bagels etc. three cereals, porridge, something that I think was supposed to be sausage patties, eggs, yogurt, apples that were in awful shape. The least selection I’ve ever seen.
