The property was very nice. Comfortable and clean. Very nice pool. The only negative was that the restaurant and bar was closed at 9:00. We couldn’t even have a nightcap. It was a Sunday but high tourist season in July. Lovely views of the river and a nice walk to the pier but very short walk before you got to nothing. The area around the hotel seems quite run down and nothing was open.

I truly felt pampered at Rodd Miramichi. The setting on the Miramichi River is beautiful, our room was well appointed, clean and stocked with amenities, restaurant had a nice selection for breakfast, lunch and supper, very nice pool and small but adequate fitness room. Staff were great too!

Very nice stay. Staff was extremely friendly. I was surprised that for the price point (water side room) that our room had unfinished drywall patching above the bed. While definitely not a deal breaker, it was strange.

The hotel was in a great location. Check in was quick. The room was comfortable but required some TLC Both towel rack and toilet roll holders were hanging loose from the wall The breakfast was meagre and staff appeared to have an issue of who was in charge Very close to a Atlantic supermarket and a great Irish pub that had good food

At check in one representative acknowledged us but another took over. She did not explain clearly what and why she was doing which prompted us to question. Example why our information , had prepaid but advised quickly for security incase we wanted drinks or snak in the room( later discovered no snaks were in the room but down stairs .. we had 2 rooms reserved .. handed us 2 keys without explaining ; my husband asked for 4 keys so we could each have our room ( 4 of us ) she said what ?and once realized said that is what I’m working on now … once completed we asked if good to go and she said yes… we never thought to ask for wifi password nothing provided . We dined there and the waitress was very personable but made a deal with my salmon meal that if I did not like the rice she would gladly give me some mashed potatoe . My meal came shortly after other 3 I went to the washroom and was there when I got back. The only time we saw her again was after we were finished our meals awaiting a bill . She never once inquired if I liked the rice or checked on us. During check out the next morning( the two representatives were wonderful! ) we did mention the digital tv reception was terrible , we were unable to watch it .. kept pausing picture distorted in and out They thanked us for letting them know . This was our first stay at Rodd Inn , recommended by a frequent guest. We felt for the price paid did not meet our expectations .

We were happy with everything except the fridge! The room only had a wine cooler and since we had been travelling we had perishable items that the cooler did not keep cold enough and we had to throw away. Also, the depth of the cooler could not hold my left over container from supper so it also had to be thrown out. Not sure what the reason is for taking out a normal fridge was but it isn’t a great decision in my opinion. Besides that everything was great 😊

Unfortunately I had terrible neighbours who stayed up well past 2am in the morning. It wasn't even a weekend. I stayed during a weekday for a business trip and I barely got any sleep. I even had my earplugs on and took a melatonin and still had to complain to the front desk. The walls are so thin, I heard everything including whenever they used the washroom.

The property was nice and very clean. Check in and chrck out were easy. Upon check out the lady at the counter was very kind and inquired as to why we were in the area. I advised it was our anniversary. She mentioned that if they had known they would have done something special for us. Unfortunately, when we had checked in, a different lady was not very thorough. She did not ask why we were in the area, never gave us a run down of the property (except where the elevators were), never confirmed the duration of our stay, and never even advised us of the wifi password location on our key card. The only complaints I have are concerning the lack of information ypon check in, and that the only breakfast here is from the restaurant on the property. To the best of my knowledge there are no discounts off the menu prices for guests at the hotel. This also was no communicated upon check in.

The property is stunning and the water view is even better. The front desk set the tone for our stay with pleasant conversation and excellent information. We had dinner in the on-site restaurant and our waitress, Tiffany, made the experience exceptional with her efficiency and lovely personality. We will be back.

We flew into Moncton at 6am in the morning and the hotel staff did their best to get us a very early check in. They had a room ready for us by 11am, just when we arrived in Miramichi. Very kind and accommodating staff to us weary travellers. Beautiful view, lovely to walk and explore the area around the hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms, nice pool.

We were in town for my high school reunion and I didn’t want to have to drive everywhere so this was the best location and it didn’t disappoint Its location on the waterfront was very enjoyable. My one regret is that I didn’t ask for a water facing room.

The property itself is great. Rooms are updated and bathrooms updated and well stocked. The restaurant has a view that is second to none. However, the breakfast we had on Saturday morning could have been better prepared by a ten year old child. The two strips of bacon are cut in half, fused together and served cold. The so called hash browns were cubes of deep fried potatoes obviously prepared hours or a day ahead and when you tried to pick up one with a fork the whole lump came up. Seriously, this restaurant has been notorious over the years for having cold and/or poorly prepared food and it is such a shame. The facility is so nice. I would highly recommend the hotel. skip the restaurant. There is an Irish pub 5 min walk from hotel with a great menu and excellent food, a German bakery and coffee shop directly across the street and an excellent Indian food restaurant two minute walk.

Check in could improve ,the clerk ignored me for 5-7 minutes while talking to an old colleague.Dining experience at the restaurant was disappointing,service was very slow and the food was cold, however once we sent it back to be heated ,the food was delicious
