Had to park much farther away during our stay due to parking lot repaving. No elevators. Restaurant was closed in our day. No room service despite description on Expedia. No freezer in fridge. Gym was very small. Surrounding area not picturesque. View of river but window had condensation we could not remove so we couldn’t see much. A lot of “I’m sorry”’s by no recompense such as money back, gift card to Wyndham hotels, gift card to local restaurants, etc, even when we suggested that might help us handle the disappointments.

Even though I don’t live far away, I bring my grandkids here when they are on their breaks for a swim and a night at a hotel, and they really enjoy it. This hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly. We have made many trips here and we enjoy each one of them.

Hennesseys restaurant had excellent food and attentive, helpful and conscientious servers. My grandchildren enjoyed the pool when over visiting. Allowing them to visit and use the pool is most gracious of the facility and bodes well for my return Thanksgiving next year 2026. There is no hot tub.

Check in was fine and the staff was very polite and helpful. Beautiful view of the Miramichi river once you look past the pile of old a/c units piled up outside our room window. Room had a very "damp" feel. The door did not close properly and we came back to the room with the door ajar all day. Pool is warm and fairly clean.

This property was so humid the bedsheets felt wet i couldn't all night. Smelled very musty in the room. There was mold in the barhroom. Im sure they have to wipe down the mold weekly because of how humid it is. The floors felt wet in the bathroom the folloing morning and all towels still very wet. The shower curtain had snots on it from the previous person which was super gross. Im sure my conditoner they offered was half empty cuz barley anthibg came out. The only good thing at this place was the restaurant they have. Dinner was good. Highly recommend putting dehumidifiers in each room to save them from shutting down cuz of how moldy this place will be if not already. I feel sick today from how humid this room was. Terrible place. Do not recommend.

Room was dated, smelled bad. There was an ozone machine left in the room, but clearly didn’t work. Bathroom wasn’t super clean. There was hair on the countertop Very dated and needed better cleaning. Super friendly staff. Decent breakfast and the bed was comfortable. Gym had a light “strobing”.

Was greated but lovely upbeat people at the front desk. Room was dirty with stains all over the furniture. The bed was so hard i felt like i was sleeping on the floor. They didnt even prove coffee mate for my morning coffee. Breakfast was old and dried out and not even edible.. would bot recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stay here often but this was a bad experience and stay. The towels had not been changed and were used and dirty. There was a group partying and running the hall way all night long. I booked to get a good nights rest and couldn’t sleep at all.

This hotel is pretty good. It’s a little worse for wear, but seems to get a tremendous amount of traffic considering the location. The entire place seemed pretty full when we were there. The building and common spaces is perhaps a bit outdated, but the room itself was pretty nice. The bed and sleeping area had definitely been updated, but the bathroom was a little more on the worn and older side. The restaurant/pub on site was pretty great though. The food and drinks were good and the outside deck/eating area is truly a highlight.

Something as simple as changing out your harsh light bulbs for a lower colour temperature (3000-3800k max) would go a long way in making the room feel more comfortable. Basic accommodations but satisfactory. The restaurant is good. I wasn't fortunate enough to have a view of the river but I'm sure it's nice for those who do.

Had a course, decided to book an extra night to save more driving . Called and spoke to Brett who added an extra night and answered all my enquiries, and was there when i checked in. Absolute star and amazing customer service from Brett. Will definatly book there again when i do other courses.

Would like to give a shout out to staff Brett. This young man was only 3 weeks into his job and he went above and beyond. Brett was welcoming upon arrival, informative about our stay, and efficient with our checkin. He offered to help bring our baggage to the rooms. Brett also offered suggestions for things to do in the area. Not to mention, the hotel was BUSY, there was 28 check ins! Upon returning to the hotel for our second night he greeted us with a smile and by name, spoke to our children about their dance competition, congratulating them on their performances. This made our children feel special and they were so proud to talk about their day. Brett listened attentively to each of them as they excitedly shared all the details. Huge “THANK YOU” to Brett for the amazing customer service and making our stay that much better ☺️

We didnt stay because they canceled my reservation. They tried to take a hold on the credit card I had used in March to book two days before we arrived. I was not using my Cdn Tire card for my two weeks of hotel stays, I was using my husbands card. They tried to call me on my home phone - I was travelling, so I wasnt home. When they couldnt reach me, they simply cancelled my stay. I then had to book another hotel in Fredericton - which was lovely btw.

Had a great little patio bar area on the Miramichi river. Everything was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was adequate for a free breakfast but the area was very cramped with poor flow. Not a big negative but just a little frustrating in the morning. Overall a great place to stay.

The hotel was amazing, absolutely excellent and the hotel staff were excellent as well. However, the restaurant, which is operated independently, was not so great. The food was excellent, however, the service left a lot to be desired. In addition, the breakfast, which comes free with the stay, was terrible. The meat was burnt black, and they ran out of food very quickly. So many people went without, including my husband. An elderly gentleman, likely in his eighties, was carrying around two plates saying, "what do we do now, there's no food". I felt so bad for him.
