The hotel looks very old and run down. I chose this hotel because of the pool for my children, and it wasn't until after I made my reservation that the hotel sent me a message informing me that the pool, sauna, and gym were closed for renovations. The door was always locking even when they changed the access card. I almost came down for more than 10 times even I had supervisor the key’s were not accessing into the room. Everything was under maintenance pool, gym etc. I was been here for many times but had worst experience this time. However they tried to compensate with breakfast for the issue but it was disappointing for me.

The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was excellent. There was no soap, only shampoo, conditioner and body lotion and only 2 medium towels. The a/c in our room would not work. Staff looked at it, but the issue was not resolved. I booked this hotel specifically for the whirlpool as I had an exhausting day and I was looking forward to a warm soak. The pool was warm, the whirlpool was cold. If I had known this, I would have booked a room at the Monte Carlos with an in room jacuzzi for a few dollars less. Again, the bed and bedding was very soft and comfortable, and the front desk was friendly. But I wish I had booked at a different hotel for what my needs were for the night.

I've stayed here many times over the years and unfortunately this hotel has just gotten rund down over the years. The carpets, room, mattress, etc...all just need to be replaced. Even the some of our white towels were 'grey' & threadbare because they've clearly been washed so many times... I don't think we will stay here again......discouraging....

The room we booked smelled damp and dirty. The sheets were dirty and with stains, the bathroom was old and dated as was the room. The shower head was loose and literally falling off. We had to request the front staff to change rooms and at first they were not willing to change rooms they sent housekeeping to spray the room which made it smell worse, finally after complaining again they switched us to different room. This was one my worst experiences in a hotel. The only positive was the breakfast which had a lot of choices and variety and was one of the better breakfast buffet I have had and the price was very reasonable.

Had trouble getting in the room. The key pad wasn't workimg properly. There were stains on the curtain and on the wall. When I lift up the toilet seat, it look like no one had clean it in a long time. The bed frame had tear marks on it. Overall I felt unconformable staying there.

Although the hotel notes its under construction, it should be closed for major renovations. The amount of drywall dust in the entire hotel and construction debris in the stairwells makes it a health and safety nightmare. I can still taste the dust. The rooms were very clean but the dust in the hallways, elevators and breakfast area was overwhelming.

The TV, wi-fi access, fridge and bed were all fine... however... the bathroom fan was noisy, the sink drain was slow, I could not get the thermostat temp to change (stuck at 76F), one of my key cards did not work, and after I had my shower in the morning I could not get the tub faucet to stop dribbling. Access to the nearby Hwy 401 was good though and I actually like listening to the drone of the traffic as I fall asleep. There is nothing much worthwhile in the area for shopping or restaurants within walking distance. Also, a car in the parking lot had a bashed-in window the morning I departed... not good. Anyway, I'm sorry, but I will stay somewhere else the next time I'm in the area.

We booked a suite for the night, thinking that’s the best rooms you have. The room was very outdated with a hole around the light exposing the plastic in the hallway. The jacuzzi tub was very old and grungy looking that we did not want to use it. The toilet ran all night. A curtain was wrecked where we couldn’t even close it. The only great thing about our stay was the bed, it was very comfortable. Overall, for the amount we paid to stay for one night it was extremely disappointing.

Room was in perfect condition. However! The soundproofing of the rooms is pretty much non existent. The room next to ours decide to start blasting music and talk very loudly at 2am. Despite the front desk best efforts they did not stop talking so we decided to cut our losses and leave in the middle of the night. You could also hear the elevator at the other end of the hallway.

Breakfast buffet was great , checking in was horrible 6 people ahead of me in line and only one person at front desk, no ice machine had to leave it at front desk for them to bring up to my room. If i knew the hotel was under construction I would have never booked , the noise started at 8:30 so not a relaxing Saturday morning

First room we got had a leaking shower. Left water everywhere and our clothes got wet. Asked front desk if they had a washer and dryer but we were denied. They then switched our room to a room smaller than what we originally got. They then switched us to a third room where the shower wouldn’t turn on, we had to get help from a staff. That staff told us they closed the faucet extremely tight because if you don’t, the faucet will leak water. We stayed there with the faucet not closed all the way and again.. leaking shower. I spoke to front desk Atleast twice a day looking for a manager. They said the manager will call you. I checked in on Thursday and checked out on Sunday. I never got a call from the manager or was able to speak with them. Front desk kept saying the manager is not here. I come to find out this is an ongoing issue and the hotel has been putting off renovations until September. Why let us book a stay when you know there is an issue with the shower. We were extremely frustrated. I patiently waited for the manager. I checked out on Sunday and the front desk lady was shocked. She said the manager was in on Thursday and Friday and I am unsure why no one has got back to you. She also told me no one even put in a claim and she is very sorry. She gave me her personal information and said this will be dealt with by Tuesday. I cannot believe they would treat us like we didn’t matter. We drove all the way from Ottawa and we’re extremely tired and just wanted to relax.

Hotel housekeeping made sure we wake up around 9am both Saturday and Sunday morning despite do not disturb hanging sign at our doors. We had 2 rooms at the end of 8th floor, room across us were not occupied, housekeeping came to our door did not knock due to do not disturb sign but keep calling room service again and again to make sure we wake up and check out early Sunday morning.

Stayed at this location for 4 nights, it was a great location conveniently located next to highway. The staff was very friendly, they cleaned the rooms everyday for our family. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor had amazing burgers and the brownie dessert was delicious! The pool was a fair size and my daughter enjoyed using it during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Everything was great except for the coffee!!! It kind of ruined the stay. For 209 per night?? I would expect a waayyyyy better coffee in the room!!! That’s how we start our day. Not cool to have to drive 5 kms to get coffee. The lady at the desk was AMAZING!!! The towels were stained and looked dirty too….but yay! No bed bugs!

This property is dated and rundown to the point that not only were the facilities and common areas rundown the towels in my room were a very odd shade of grey. I am almost certain they were white at some point. The one front desk clerk that was not on her phone was actually quite polite and helpful.as were the support staff. Make sure you mention that you would like to have your room cleaned or it will not get done. The restaurant was running on limited hours so ya better get in quick if you want any meals. Also they didn't mention the fire alarm and water shut off testing when I booked the hotel room. Hopefully they get the second elevator fixed as it was quite a hassle waiting in the morning for everyone to wait and then pile into one. The exterior was under construction to where I wasn't even sure they were open when I arrived. I would NOT recommend this hotel. There is a Sheraton right across the street I will be trying that hotel on my next trip.

This was a pleasant stay. My grandchildren really enjoyed the pool. I really appreciate the hot tub and the pool. The front desk staff at check-in was very pleasant and patient. One thing the pool measurement says 5feet 5inches for the deep end. However it is more like 6 feet. My daughter is 5ft 10 inches and her feet couldn't touch the bottom of the pool. The hotel needs to re-measure and please change the measurements for the safety of everyone. Someone 5feet 5inches tall could jump in thinking that they are safe only to find out there feet cannot touch the bottom and if they cannot swim it could end up in a very tragic situation. Yes it says swim at your own risk no life guard on site. But the hotel also has the responsibility to share accurate information to the guest that come there. Otherwise I truly enjoyed our one night stay

The ladies at the front reception were very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was clean and the buffet breakfast was very good. The room did not have any curtains that could pull across, just a transparent blind, so it was light all night in the room and more difficult to sleep. The room above us - 3:30am to 5:30 am yelling and pounding around. Unacceptable. Great staff, but will not stay here again.
