I liked free parking

Hotel elevators were not always working.

Just a one night stay, but it was a really comfortable bed and got a good night's sleep before heading out on the road. Free parking was also appreciated.

The pool was supposed to be heated but was not warm at all - the pre shower at the pool had no warm water! Wish there were housecoats in the rooms. Room itself was clean and service was prompt and polite! The hotel itself is a little remote from everything.

Conveniently located near highways. Plenty of parking. Fast check in and out. Food at the Bistro was very good.

No bartender, seems like they want to extract money from limited customer at the bar. Only 1 elevator working for the guests for 5 floors. Not staying in again.

Room was clean and spacious. One elevator was broken, the one in operation made strange sounds. No hot water from sink faucet because faucet handle was stuck by wall mirror and couldn’t turn.

The place is located about 20 minutes drive from Pearson International Airport. It might be tough to reach for people who doesn’t drive at all. The surrounding area is quiet. The swimming pool size is smaller than expected. Worth a stay for those who have limited budgets but want spacious rooms.

⭐ 1 Star – Worst Hotel Experience of My Life My experience at Courtyard by Marriott (booked via Expedia) was nothing short of mental distress. I traveled from Vancouver to Toronto with my family for a vacation, and this hotel completely ruined our first night. We checked in around 1 AM at midnight after a long day of travel, only to be given a completely unhygienic and unsafe room. The mattress was full of dust, spider webs were all over, and the entire room felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. For a hotel under the Marriott brand, this was absolutely shocking and unacceptable. When I asked the front desk to either change the room or clean it immediately, the response was unimaginable. The staff member coldly told me that no rooms were available and actually suggested that I should check out and request a refund from the third party (Expedia)—in the middle of the night, with my exhausted family. This is not only unprofessional but inhumane customer service. I booked this hotel trusting the Marriott name, but this experience has left me with severe disappointment and distress. The lack of cleanliness, the disregard for guest safety, and the completely indifferent attitude from staff made this stay unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking. If this is the level of service and hygiene they provide, it is not worth the risk—especially if you’re traveling with family.

Clean and quiet room.

The hotel is next to commercial buildings, so no restaurant or convenient stalls within walking distance. It is near highway entrance, so it helps if you need to drive to other part of Toronto. Our room was spacious for its price and the staff was able to let us to check in early, which I am truly grateful. The only thing that is negative for this trip was when I got into the shower, there are hair’s stuck on the shower wall.

The bathroom was not cleaned properly I asked about hot tub I was told no hot tub until we checked out then she said we could have used the hot tub next door. The room was quite nice.

It was a fair price for the two night we stay. The room doesn’t have a microwave, but we just went downstairs if we want to microwave our food. The room has a urine smell when we came in. We thought that it was just that time but every time we came back from our day activity we can smell it again. No room service was being done not sure if that have to be upon request. would have been nice to know so we could request for room service even just to replace towel or refill condiment a.k.a. coffee cups. Pretty sure no one even came into our rooms to change garbage despite the fact that we stay for two nights. We just come downstairs every time we need a paper plate or a cup, but it was kind of inconvenience to have to keep coming downstairs to asking for simple things like that. we keep our room, neat and clean when we do make our bed every morning so we didn’t really need room service to that extent, but it would be nice to have our garbage change, the garbage bin was small, so all the garbage was overflow. Good thing that we brought our own garbage bag.

The room was extremely large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were not good. Over all the room was very clean and open. Did not have a safe in the room but had a coffee machine.

I really liked the hotel. The only thing that I didn’t like was there was no microwave in the room. Other things I liked was the decor and the fact that the basin in the room was outside the toilet. Gives the other person to use the bathroom without blocking access to the basin.

Stayed 4 nights - by the middle of the third day, before our fourth night, our room was still not cleaned!!! I had to call front desk three times to get cleaning done. Cable cut out multiple times. The area is full of drugs and safety is a major concern. The biggest issue - the parking lot - unless you drive a smart car, don’t expect to be able to move around very easily. I would not recommend this hotel at all - only thing good about it is its location to Byward Market - which is why we stayed there - not knowing the above!

Room was ok but the window was broken, we felt cold air in room and the noise of cars inside.

Staff was friendly, room was very spacious and nicely put together.

I usually trust Courtyard for a restful, quality stay. However, this time several things disrupted our rest: our room was next to a noisy ice machine, walls were poorly insulated, and the A/C was loud with a bright LED we couldn’t turn off. The check-in process was also delayed despite arriving late with a tired child. Staff were kind, but overall comfort did not meet expectations. My rating is 7/10.

Front of the hotel has an ongoing renovation, wifi is so weak and the swimming pool is not clean, rooms are not well sound isolated, so if you cough it will annoy the next room!

Staff inept and not properly trained. Had an issue, and customer service was terrible. Staff doesn't know how to open a guest room when a lock isn't working, which poses a safety issue. The manager never even bothered to reach out, and days later, I am still waiting for a call from BER to find out why I was told one thing and received another as a resolution. Their idea of customer service is to brush off legitimate problems. Marriott is not the brand it used to be. B-rate hotel with D-rate service

Booked an extra night cause I’m old and don’t like computers, hotel accommodated the change and made me feel totally welcome, will definitely go back !

Very efficient check in....front desk was always helpful

I will never return. Faithful Marriott customer but I will chose sleeping on a bus bench before returning here. No alarm clock in room staff failed to place wake up call as requested resulting in problems at work and then failed again the second day resulting in missing my flight! If you can't provide the service, don't promise it to the guests! Hair and contact lenses left behind in bathroom along with unswept floors had me questioning cleanliness and cleaning policies. Staff was very inattentive and did not care to respond to concerns or questions and conveniently no manager on duty when I asked to speak with someone. Over 2 days morning, afternoon and evening manager conveniently happens to not be there? Overpriced, under serviced and terrible location. Do Not Stay Here!!

The stay was comfortable, the room was clean, staff friendly and they accommodated me staying until 2 for check out.

Everything was good, room and the facilities were perfect but the check in process was a mess and staff was a bit rude about it.

Night manager was so rude and didn’t know how to talk to the customer!

The Courtyard is my favourite place to stay when visiting family in the Meadovale area. I've stayed there a few times now. It is right off the 401 (Missisauga Road exit) so access is easy. The rooms are nicely up-to-date with a really good TV... it had all-HD channels and I was able to access Netflix on my pc via the HDMI input, no problem. The free wi-fi worked fine for my purposes. The HVAC is pretty quiet and works well... it's easy to see the settings and set it. The north-side rooms directly overlook the always-busy 401 so if traffic noise bothers you (or maybe you kinda like the white-noise of it like me), consider that. There are many big-chain restaurants (Starbucks, Montana's, Boston Pizza, The Keg) a short drive away but nothing really walkable. There is a nice nature walk in Mullett Creek park just down the road. I did not use any of the on-site amenities but I imagine they're at least OK. I will definitely stay here again.

The location was very good near the 401 highway. The room was clean and practical.

Location was not the most convenient

Breakfast was not included in the package. We recently stayed at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott in China Town Chicago and a hot sumptuous breakfast was included in the package. We were required to pay for breakfast at the Coutyard Marriott Mississauga/Toronto at the Bistro in the hotel lobby. However, we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere as it is over priced at the Bistro.

I did enjoy the stay! Everyone was very respectful and courteous. I was easily able to check in and check out, no issues opening and closing the door, and the breakfast was very nice! The only constructive feedback would be: 1. I had paid prior to my arrival. When I got there, I was asked to insert my credit card and submit a deposit of some sort. I would have liked to have this explained better so I wasn't left confused about why they needed me to pay 'again' (even though I didn't pay twice). 2. The shower curtains need to be replaced more often, or cleaned with chemical more often. They smelled like a seedy old sauna. Otherwise, the room was VERY well cleaned and in perfect order.

There is a bar/restaurant on site but it is questionable whether kind of priority is given to staffing. At dinner time we had to inquire if it was even open because staff were no where to be found and it was not obvious the facility was even functional. We Ubered to a restaurant nearby to get something to eat.

No Continental Breakfast 18.00 dollars for eggs and 8.00 for coffee thats terrible.

The staff was so friendly! The hotel is clean and in good condition. The price was reasonable too! The only thing is that it does not include breakfast but you can buy it.

I did not like anything about the hotel it was located in the middle of nowhere, it did not offer food or drink 24/7 and there were no other options walking distance to get food or drink. In the room there was nothing apart from TV and bed. I paid £150/night, I would not stay at a Courtyard Marriott in the future.
