I chose the suite that overlooks the river. Huge room with great view. They do not have a restaurant with food just a continental breakfast that didn't change with 10 workers unneccesarily dishing out the food to you. If only they had some of those workers making nachos or pizzas or something at night this would bea great place. The deck is huge but no food.

We had a very large room with a big walk in shower. This is a beautiful hotel with a second floor patio and main patio off the breakfast room. It was lovely to sit out there with a glass of wine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel. You don't be disappointed.

The room was very clean and comfy. The staff were very available and helpful. There was a variety of products at breakfast and they were very fresh. The car park is easily accessible and although it's full in the evening, there's always a way to find an available space.

The room and bath were clean; the bed was VERY comfortable. The view of the river and the tidal bore was wonderful. Parking was free, close-by and easy to access. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and completed all of the tasks quickly and competently. The manager and staff went above and beyond to accommodate a special dietary need. This was our third visit to this hotel and we will stay here again when we return to Moncton for a visit.

This place is not clean, there are hair strands all over the beds. I cannot imagine how bad the carpet will be. Staff are there to check you in and out other than that they don’t care. There was no manager on duty for 2 days I stayed there. NEVER would I stay there again.

The front end staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was large and it had high quality furniture, bedding and bathroom linen. The shower was spectacular with the multi-shower heads that were not only effective cleaning, but it was also soothing. Let's not forget a very satisfying breakfast with plenty of options, hot and cold. I'm staying here again when we come back.

The one bedroom suite we had was fantastic. The only issue was that there were three of us but only one bed as the hotel does not use sofa beds. We did say there were three of us. The hotel was quick to suggest a cot and brought one up.

First buffet breakfast that I have used that Attendants were serving the hot food items. The room was nice, but located nest to the elevators so that there was constant noise coming from them. The shower was a full body shower with a waterfall feature.

Junior Suite - Huge Bath room - GREAT Shower and also a bath ( Not used by us ) Nice sized lounge area - Bedroom was a great size Only down side was the lighting - VERY DIM!! not real conducive to reading - BUT we had a river room facing east so nice in the morning

Front desk service not great. 3 day stay and had to get both of our key cards renewed twice. They blamed us for erasing them by getting too close to electronics. Wifi password was changed after we checked in without any warning. Also had to repeatedly log in to wifi.

While the hotel appears renovated, the suite layout feels cramped and oddly arranged. The management operates with rigid policies — we witnessed several families being made to wait in the lobby until exactly 3 PM for check-in, regardless of room readiness. Hallway decor felt outdated, and basic amenities like a microwave, expected in a suite, were missing. Breakfast was average at best, and access was tightly controlled. Guests weren’t allowed to help themselves even a minute before the 6:30 AM start, and the atmosphere was far from welcoming. I didn’t ask for seconds due to how strictly everything was monitored. Customer service was cold and inflexible, more like interacting with a machine than a human. Overall, not a pleasant stay and wouldn’t recommend if you are expecting a comfort or hospitality.

Had a small hiccup with wifi and front desk was unhelpful. Wifi password provided but not the name of network and there were several. Rooms on main floor had no signage on door to corridor of rooms. The handicapped door button was barely visible (paint gone just silver) and only stayed open 5 secs which is too brief for a wheelchair or bellhop cart to get in.

Staff was super friendly and accommodated an early check-in for us and recommended a room that was away from the "hussle and bussle" of festival groups. The cleaning staff was quick and our rooms were cleaned before we got back from breakfast. The complimentary breakfast is great; lots of choices, nice dining room and a great deck to enjoy your meal in the sunshine. Would definitely visit again.

This is a nice enough property, but I booked a suite for 3 adults expecting as was the case in the Chateau at Saint John, to get a king size bed and a pull out sofa couch that converts to a bed for the 3rd adult. Not here. It’s a single king size bed for 3 adults? They did us a huge favor by bringing up (and charging us extra for) a “cot,” which was the most uncomfortable “bed” I’ve experienced. As soon as we had stepped into our room and noticed this, we called to ask to switch to a room with two Queen Sized bed. We were told they had one, but we’d have to pay for both the suite and the queen sized room because we had already checked in to the suite. We hadn’t even opened our luggage yet or used anything in the suite. No matter, it would double the price. Very unfriendly, and very unprofessional staff. I would stay away from this place.

Moncton hat insgesamt nicht sehr viel zu bieten, aber das Chateau sieht man aus vielen Richtungen. Es ist ein vernünftiges Mittelklassehotel mit einer guten Verkehrsanbindung. Da wir mit einem Mietwagen unterwegs waren, war das sehr gut. Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos. Das Hotel bietet ein complementary Frühstück an. Sehr positiv dabei: Es gibt neben dem üblichen nordamerikanischen Kaffee auch Espresso, Cappuccino, etc. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten raus zum River. Das war ausgesprochen angenehm. Da das Hotel an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße liegt, wäre unser Urteil über das Hotel mit einem Zimmer zur Straßenseite wohl etwas bescheidener ausgefallen. So war es wunderbar. Insgesamt war das Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Moncton im Rahmen einer Tour durch den Osten von Kanada gut geeignet.

Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The river view was wonderful. We were able to observe the tidal bore from above coming in from a distance away. Easy walk to restaurants along the river boardwalk. This was very convenient as there was major road construction on the main road in front of the hotel.

I have stayed here many, many times. Rooms are great, location is great, which is why I keep coming back. However, the breakfast is truly terrible. I always go out for breakfast. I (sometimes accompanied by my husband and two sons) have spent a cumulative total of multiple months at the Chateau in the last 4 years and I can count on one hand the number of times I (or we) have eaten the free breakfast. They can do SO much better.

Awesome hotel and service when staying in Moncton. Friendly staff, large and modern room with nice amenities for the electronics. As for the complimentary breakfast, one of the best!
