Newly renovated and nicely done. Plenty of parking, awesome gazebo space and nice breakfast. Staff were super friendly and the rooms were very clean. 10/10 experience.

I found it super cool to see a nice clean BBQ with a lit up picnic table and covered gazebo. Went out to get snacks and got back to find someone using the BBQ. Was a great touch on your part Super 8!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Double rooms and suites were very clean and everything worked in them. Convenient parking. Breakfast is not particularly delicious but typical for this hotel bracket. There is no elevator. So if heavy luggage or mobility concerns this would not be a good choice.

Excellent sausages and scrambled eggs. The hash- browns were very undercooked. Good selection of breads. Rooms and beds were very clean and spacious. We did notice that sounds carried loudly from room next door and from hallway.

The room smelled dirty - likely because of the ac. They put us on the second floor and we had large cases but there was no elevator and outlets in the bathroom were not working. Overall a poor hotel experience. Also no modern toiletries.

Very straight forward room - clean - did what it should. Only issue was that the cable TV did not work properly - after fiddling with it I did just watched my phone or ipad. Based on time of night and 1 night stay I did not have the patience to call front desk to have someone come up and figure it out.

Price was right. Easy checkin. Not the fanciest place ever but served the purpose. Only complaint was the noise from the hallway, stairway and guests above us was irritating. Not very sound proof rooms. But all in all, okay experience.

Everything was great, with the one exception. The door to the hallway outside our door could have been quieter when closing instead of slamming shut every time it was opened. (This could be remedied by slowing the door down just before it latches closed. So everything was great except for that.

Super 8 North Bay. The gents at the front desk are great and help you with whatever your need is during your stay. I've stayed at a few Super 8's and the breakfast here is way better than any other hotel in its class, not just a continental breakfast but a well stocked hot breakfast. Definitely recommended for a good value budget minded traveller.

Rooms was huge , beds were not to bad . Very old hotel. Smell not to good . Small area for breakfast, hard to use the TV , very dark hotel looks like a hunted house. When we arrived the general manager looks kind of confused if we're booked or not , then he asked me to pay and i told him i booked online and i already paid online . Took him 30 minutes for check in.

Couldn’t find my pre paid reservation Took a long time to check in. I received 3 text messages and an email. But hotel could t find me in the system. I do not appreciate the service like that. I stay in a hotel 5-6 nights a week and it’s all about the service and the bed/ shower.

Gary, the General Manager was friendly and courteous as was all the staff. Our room and the motel were super clean! The staff were doing a spring cleanup around the property. I would not hesitate to recommend the Super 8 in North Bay

This was a quick last minute stop to get a few hours sleep. The night attendant was so kind. We told her we were only there a few hours and she asked when we would be leaving. We said around 5am. She made sure coffee and breakfast was ready early so we could have something before we left since it typically starts at 6. Very much appreciated! Impressed with the updated room we stayed in. Clean and comfortable. Love that the room did not have carpet. Bathroom was very clean and beds were comfortable. Will stay here again when passing through towards Ottawa.

Second time booking at this hotel for a layover. Bed and room nice. Bathroom alright but a bit outdated. We enjoyed going to the Sunset park by foot, where the kids could play in water (shallow water and nice little beach) and in the playground. We got our dinner at the food truck right across the street (Field of Dreams) and had a little picnic at the park. Breakfast good if you like american breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes), with a choice of cereals, oatmeal, toasts/bagel and yogurt.

Lodging was great, room was clean and bedding soft and laundered well. Breakfast was on the low end of scale. Eggs were maybe powdered eggs, sausage was grey in colour and potatoes were overcooked and hard. This may be something that could be addressed as it is a major part of a good start to the day! Staff was amazing and friendly with positive greetings and smiles every-time I passed the front desk!

Great price and excellent place to stay. My only complaint wou.dbe the hot Breakfast was not hot. However they did offer take out containers so you could take it back to your room and heat it in your microwave.

Nice, clean room, bathroom was very spacious. Staff was friendly. I appreciated the breakfast but it wasn’t very appetizing. Powdered eggs, steamed sausages and lukewarm potatoes kind of turned my stomach. Otherwise, enjoyed my stay.
