Free self parking was great. Budget friendly. Room was nice, bed was comfy. Catching the bus to downtown Vancouver was very simple as it was just down the street. Arrived faster in downtown than I normally did by staying in the east end and taking the Sky train. The closest hotel I’ve found with uncovered and free parking that can accommodate a pickup.

I checked in online but the lady at the front desk wanted me to fill out paper again. Then, she asked me if I was BW member and, when I said "no", she told me how I'm getting free parking like a member but there is no breakfast. Then she said "but you get a coffee in the room", as if this is some genius marketing feature. She's said that 5 years ago too (!) When I did make the coffee... there were no stir sticks in the sugar/napkin packets - three of four were opened. The fridge was loud, everytime the compressor started. The noise from people walking in the room above and at the adjacent staircase was also quite noticeable (especially early in the morning). The parking is awkward and tight, compared to the neighbouring hotels (also free). Overall, it is clean, decent and equipped like any hotel in this price range, I only booked this reward night there as it was the only one still available in that location.

Rooms were clean but I feel like only one person worked there lol there was just a lot of adult partying around the poolside so kids couldn’t use the pool at all with the language and smoking and drinking going on… those kind of butts in the pool aren’t cool.. a few tailgate parties going on… Just not really kid friendly that’s all I asked for more coffee at 8:50 and didn’t receive any till 230? Just no staff available I think… Said they would only come in and clean the room if we had asked for it if not, then they wouldn’t be touched our entire day You get what you pay for I guess lol

This is a good budget hotel in North Vancouver, located just a few minutes' drive from Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The building is a typical motel-style structure with ample parking and a swimming pool. There are Vietnamese and fast food eateries within walking distance. After a long drive it was great to have my 9 year old be able to have a swim in the outdoor pool which was very nice. It doesn't look fancy from the outside but for the money in Vancouver on the August long weekend it was great value. It was also very close to everything we wanted to do in Vancouver.

I like it because it’s nearby to the ferry terminal. But the room was smelly old carpet which we couldn’t sleep soundly at all. The carpet must be changed or it needs floor renovations. Also it needs new and quiet air conditioner.

Die Unterkunft gleicht eher einem heruntergekommenem Motel, das Zimmer roch muffig und war sehr warm. Die Heizung auszustellen hat nicht gebracht. Der Abfluss in der Dusche lief nicht richtg ab, zudem hatten wir Ameisen im Bad. Das Waschbecken und Spiegel sind im Schafzimmer gewesen. Der vorhandene Kühlschrank sehr laut und nicht sauber. Unterm Strich das Geld nicht wert, trotz nettem Service und recht guter Lage (Anbindung nach Downtown).

Walls are not soundproof and we were able to hear the crosswalk beep at the intersection from our room. The rooms also don’t have a microwave and you have to go to the lobby, but otherwise it was a nice place.

I really enjoyed my stay at SureStay Capilano. The staff was great. I had read that the rooms were a little dated , they were, but very clean and spacious. My only gripe was no microwave oven.

We checked in and asked for a late check out. We were told noon was acceptable and agreed to be clear of the room by then. We were woken up at 10:45 by the cleaning staff at our door, then called from the front desk at 11:20 and told check out time was 11 am. Staff came to our room at 11:30 again after the office staff confirmed our late check out for noon. Not a big deal but very rushed and annoyed after booking a late check out

the lady that was helping me is very rude and not only that she does not know how to deal with customers as a result the hotel should know and the management that i have been a guest many times and have never seen such poor skills in dealing with public. the hotel has lost money and she should be sat down and spoken to regarding her dealings with customers. i have been on sales my whole life and good at it and very much know the behavior of her was unacceptable . kind regards kerrie

We booked through Expedia, we arrived at the hotel to check in. The hotel apparently had no record of our reservation from Expedia. The hotel was not interested in helping us- they stated fhey were fully booked. It was a weekend, 4:30 in the afternoon, in Vancouver with no place to stay- 75 years old, I don"t know how to book on my phone. Thanks alot to whoever screwed our reservation and left us in a real predicament.

I was not able to check into this hotel due to not having a credit card. Most hotels will allow you to put a $500 deposit on your debit, but not this one. The reason for it according to the front desk staff: "we don't take Canadian debit." My response "but we are in Canada." Apparently it's an American company and they don't have a system in place for that. Fortunately, Expedia gave me a full refund and I stayed without issue at The North Vancouver Hotel just next door. It was very comfortable and affordable and it doesn't smell strongly perfumed like the lobby of this one did. I do not recommend.

Very helpful at the front desk and friendly. Room was very nice and clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we were even given a late check out, as we mentioned we were in town for a show and would be back late . Amazing staff !!!

I've stayed here a couple times and the staff are always excellent. Rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are new. It's central for getting into the city by transit. Walking distance from park royal mall. There is lots of car parking close to your room. There is some traffic noise from the intersection near by but it was pretty quiet after 10.

Front desk staff refused to accept BW Rewards gift certificate (which is why I booked property) stating instructions in email were wrong for redemption. Very rude and wouldn’t explain why other then kept repeating to me he couldn’t take info off of my phone for privacy reasons despite instru tons clearly stating “print OR PRESENT THIS COUPON ON SMART PHONE/TABLET etc” … very frustrating. Also bathtub would not hold water aside room itself was clean and as expected.

Great location for access to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Grouse Mountain, as well as downtown/Stanley Park. Lovely staff. A bit noisy, so if you have small ones, ask for a room further away from the main road. Was a bit run down, but clean and well cared for. Restaurant on site was lovely.

Beatiful area, bus transportaion was a 30 second walk away, very clean, staff members were very nice, checkin was easy peasy same with check out. Minor issue with bathroom lights not working, apart from that everything was great. We were very relaxed there and the restaurant was a tad pricey, but the food was very good (breakfast). Nice pool, we didn't use it but kept up very well. Thx
