Hotel was surprisingly quiet given it was close to a major intersection. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was regrettable that there was no guest laundry facilities but there is a coin-op with 1 km.

We booked at this location, hoping to have access to EV charging, seeing there are two charging stations out front. Unfortunately, we needed a J-1772 charger for our Volt, the available chargers only support CCS and ChaDeMo. We would have been happy with our L1 charger, but all the 110v receptacles on the property were not working and so we had no access to charging. Very disappointed! Otherwise the hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and air conditioning in good working order. Personnel were friendly and helpful.

Can setup an elevator or stair case in the middle. If you have a room upstairs it’s not convenient to bring your luggage upstairs and bring it back in car.

We really appreciated the friendliness of the staff at this hotel. The only thing that affected us was the check in parking. There is no parking allowed at the entrance to thecheck in desk. The driveway goes downhill from the entrance and there are 8 or 10 spots on the way down to the street. They were all taken so I had to park at the last spot going down the hill. I walk with a cane since my hip replacement las fall and it was difficult to walk up and down that hill at check in time. The alternative was to park at the rear or on the side of the property. After check in it was good because we had level ground from the parking lot to our room. The hotel shoul assign one spot for check in parking near the door.

The hotel does not have an elevator. This is inconvenient to rooms on the second floor. The hotel does not have a common rest room on the first floor either. Many restaurants, shops are near by, some are within walking distance. This is very convenient to hotel residents.

Friendly service, great breakfast. Cleanliness could be improved greatly. Carpet in room felt "crunchy" underfoot and a collegue claimed dirt on the carpet in his room was transmitted to the bathmat by his bare feet(!) My shower curtain had spots of orange mold growth along the bottom hem. Ugh.

The building and room were spotless! Bed and pillows very comfortable. Lots of towels in the bathroom. The front desk service people were polite and extremely helpful and friendly. Included breakfast was a great added bonus. We are a couple in our 50’s and would definitively recommend this comfort inn. Everything was great! We will definitely stay here again.

When we turned on the air conditioner, it smelt like moldy wet towel. Had to shut it off immediately. The bathroom also had some mold in it on the top of wall. The bed was comfortable, but the smell was too much.

Staff is incredibly kind and welcoming :) our room was quite large, accessible and comfortable! Unfortunately the couch had an ominous stain on it, the room smelt of body odour and the bed did have random hairs throughout. The rest of the facilities seemed really clean and had everything you needed.

Our room upon entry we noticed it was very damp. We found a wall that was wet from a water leak. There was mold on the walls, damaged srywall and the carpet was partially torn up. I spoke with staff who was aware of the room condition but put us there anyway. They did give us another room however it only had 1 bed instead of 2 and 1 person had to sleep on a pull out couch.

stay was good. staff was friendly. service was good. HOWEVER - if you like to watch your own streaming platforms - you will be out of luck. TV's have a prime and netflix app, however, the TVs CANNOT connect to the internet. When i inquired, i was told that guests would forget to sign off, so their fix was to restrict the TVs from connecting to the internet. what a TERRIBLE solution. we bought a roku stick, but still had to connect that to a hotspot from one of our devices. Its 2025 - i know theres a better solution that what the Comfort Inn has landed on.

Overall my stay was good. Staff was very accommodating and professional. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. One negative comment I have was the noise of other quests? Kids running up and down the hallways and parents not doing anything about it? Banging, thumping and doors slamming. I could hear everything through the walls and was very hard to sleep? Other than that a good experience.

The unique thing about our room in the Comfort Inn at Owen Sound was that you could park directly outside your room and unload and load lugguage through the sliding patio doors into your car. You would enter through the outside door at the end of the corridor, but once inside, you could access your patio door. Our room with a king bed had a nice desk and an easy chair., refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was crowded, but good as far as hotel breakfasts go. The breakfast personnel did a good job keeping up with the demand, so nothing ran out.

The exterior of the hotel was under renovation so the window in my room was completely covered with the grey film. The interior needs updating just as much as the outside. Old carpet in hallways and in the room. Ancient/gross sofa in room. Bathroom was clean though and the bed was clean and comfy.

The heater in my room went on every 5 minutes. No matter what you did it wouldn't stop - except for shutting it off. I set it for 60 which was the lowest it would go. Was too uncomfortable at a higher temp. No boot tray for wet footwear to dry on. No tissues in the living/sleeping room only in bathroom cabinet storage which was unable to be moved.

Had problem with room door locking. Manager came to fix with a screwdriver. But quickly realized it was not possible. I asked for another room and first was told they were full. But after 5 min they gave me a new room. Appreciated the effort however they should have offered another room as I asked for immediately as obviously one was available. Staff was polite from the front desk to cleaning staff. The price for this hotel was overpriced. Others in the area are $30 to $50 less.

Barb at front desk was so welcoming and helped me with a wardrobe stain issue. Very kind lady. I was amazed by the morning breakfast. I didn’t expect nice hot food and waffle maker. The lady who was taking care of breakfast ( sorry didn’t catch her name) was helpful and kept the area super clean. Price was good compare to another hotel in area that was more pricy, didn’t include breakfast and charged for parking.

They went above and beyond. We had to leave earlier than they serve breakfast. They started breakfast early for us. Most places wouldnt care so much made us feel very appreciated. They obviously care about their customers which is rare these days.

Breakfast area could be bigger in the summer when the hotel is full. They could use tables in the outdoors for more space to eat breakfast. They also need a backup staff for breakfast pick hour, the two employees there were doing their best but it was not enough to keep up. Otherwise good stay.
