Very nice hotel. A little hard to find and not in the nicest neighborhood. Loved the room. Cool feature with the glass window between the shower/bathroom and the bedroom. The glass becomes smokey when the bathroom door is closed. The big downfall was the hotel's parking. You have to park on the top floor of the parkade across the street. Not convenient.

The parking was terrible. All they had was a map to show you where to go. Got to the parking no signs for elevators only stairways. Take that get to the bottom of the stairway and no way out got locked out of the parking garage and could not get out through the back alley door broken. Finally got out after about 15 min. Was told to go across the street to get back into the hotel then that door didn’t work. Walked around to go through the main entrance, got into the lobby and was going to use the elevator to go to the room but the button was under a fire alarm so wasn’t sure if we should push it or not so the manger said it was alright to push it. Not a good place to have the elevator button.

Overall stay was great. Hot tub was out of service and a few of the gym equipment machines didn’t work, otherwise the room was clean and quiet and the service was great.

Hotel is lovely. The location is downtown so parking is in a garage across the street which isn’t ideal, especially arriving at night. PG needs to clean up the downtown and this hotel would thrive.

Staff were great, room was clean. Surrounding area has plenty of restaurants within walking distance, but later at night was a little sketchy. The off site parkade was close, but parking on top floor and walking all the way down and back to hotel was inconvenient

This was the worst hotel i ever checked into, it was dirty and smelled really bad the lights gave me a shock and turned off.. i did not stay, i left and spent the night at a different hotel. I would say more but i won't. I just really think they need a huge upgrade and proper cleaning. Disappointed and disgusted. I wish i took pictures to show everyone.

Room and bathroom didn’t look anything like the picture and was very dated and used. Pillows and bed were uncomfortable. Bathtub was dirty and the faucet leaked. Heater was extremely loud. It felt like I got an Expedia downgrade.

When we travel through Prince George to Grande Prairie or back to Vancouver, we always break the trip up and stay at the Ramada. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and it's quiet. There are a few good options for restaurants within the block to choose from as well. It's nice having Starbucks in the hotel to grab a coffee for the road.

⭐ 1/5 — Completely Unacceptable Stay (Nov 27–30) We stay here 3–4 times a year, and this visit was completely unacceptable. Traveling with our 6-year-old, we were moved through four different rooms: one with a bathroom door that wouldn’t open, one with a flooding shower that soaked the carpet (lifting the carpet showed this has been an ongoing issue), another with the same door problem, and the final room had a shower that leaked and dripped all night. The pool was closed with zero warning — the main reason we booked for our child. The front desk staff showed absolutely no care, no apology, and no effort to fix anything. We also had a party next door, and I had to call twice (11 PM and 2:30 AM) while trying to get our 6-year-old to sleep before a long trip home. Nothing was properly handled. The final breaking point: we found a bug in our bed, full of blood when squished. That is beyond unacceptable. This hotel has gone completely downhill, and we will not be returning unless major changes are made.

The housekeeping was terrible. In one instance the room was left unfinished. The bed was half made and there were folded sheets on the end table. On at least three occasions the towels were not fully replenished and the carpets were never vacuumed. In other instance the housekeeper drank a half bottle of water meant for guests and left the half empty used bottle of water on the coffee table. Who does this?

Hot tub jets, (just 2), are just ok for power. Staff very nice! Thin walls though and why did they have to put someone right beside me as the hotel was emptyish. Spread us out when so! I had to knock on my neighbors door at 2 am, (629), as their tv was so darn loud and I could hear it over my running fan. I went to sleep, tried to, at 10 pm. They did not answer the door as I knocked normally at 2 am so I had to call down and yes they fixed the problem. With thin walls, like I say, spread us out and tell ppl to be quiet after 11! TV channel selection is weak too to know.

We love the Ramada. Staff are always lovely, rooms are done nicely, and usually the beds are totally comfortable. Our stay this time though the mattress was awful. Big sags in spots that made it very difficult to find a place to lay without having a huge hole underneath your body. This mattress needs to be recycled! Room 619. We have to go back overnight again in 3 days and I’m praying we don’t get the same room and mattress!

I liked the convenience of the hotel, but would have preferred a room that did not have a clear bathroom wall. At times, the wall did not become opaque when the bathroom door was closed. Also, the bed frame sticks out a lot from the mattress and I have a large bruise as a result. Would have appreciated the dining room being open.

Bed and room were great, parking is off site-which is fine except they let people park in offloading zone to go to Starbucks. The interact machines were not working properly-person said they were just upgraded, so they had problems processing my credit card, kept saying authorized but wasnt communicating with their system (I have a full page of these transactions on my app), then had to leave a deposit with debit card which they had problems with, this took an hour while we were tired from traveling and just wanted to check in. Next morning leaving, we had to wait while they found someone to check room(because they couldnt process credit card night before), then they found someone and had problems refunding debit deposit (surprise). Another hour , and we had to carry our luggage in rain to vehicle around corner as they allow parking in the loading zone. Oh, and the morning guy acted like I was an inconvenience and commented how situations like this ruin his day.

Check in was not good. She kept helping others while checking us in so it took close to 20 minutes. Then she charged us $20 because we were there at 3 PM instead of 4 PM. Worst check in experience ever.

‘Really enjoyed our stay the first time-August 8th and looked forward to our stay the 2nd time-August 13th. Pleasant staff especially Ms. Chesta Yadav. Employees, as direct line staff to the Employer can hugely augment and beautifully represent their Employer. Ms. Chesta certainly did an exemplary job in enhancing our stay at the Ramada Plaza in Prince George. She was friendly, professional and very attentive to our inquiries and requests. Employees, as direct line staff to the Employer can hugely augment and beautifully represent their Employer. Ms. Chesta certainly did an exemplary job in enhancing our stay at the Ramada Plaza in Prince George. She was friendly, professional and very attentive to our inquiries and requests. Upon arrival there was only one staff member on a Friday evening to check in, so the wait times were quite long. Once we finally checked into the room we noticed that we could hear the family next door clear as day. Instead of complaining and trying to make a family be quiet and not enjoy their stay as well, I asked if I could be moved to another room where I could possibly have some quiet, even willing to down grade from my king suite just for the quiet. The reply was that every room would be that noisy so I was to just "expect" there would be noise in any room i moved to and then said he wouldnt move me either way. Just disappointing not enjoy my evening alone and be able to sleep. My neighbours next door then began their day at 6 am to which i was awoken for the day, not only to have no coffee mate or sugars for my coffee, so i waited and went to the lobby starbucks at their opening time. However, the starbucks then did not open for another hour so i checked out and left early instead of enjoying a quiet morning in my 200$ room.

⭐ 1/5 — Completely Unacceptable Stay (Nov 27–30) We stay here 3–4 times a year, and this visit was completely unacceptable. Traveling with our 6-year-old, we were moved through four different rooms: one with a bathroom door that wouldn’t open, one with a flooding shower that soaked the carpet (lifting the carpet showed this has been an ongoing issue), another with the same door problem, and the final room had a shower that leaked and dripped all night. The pool was closed with zero warning — the main reason we booked for our child. The front desk staff showed absolutely no care, no apology, and no effort to fix anything. We also had a party next door, and I had to call twice (11 PM and 2:30 AM) while trying to get our 6-year-old to sleep before a long trip home. Nothing was properly handled. The final breaking point: we found a bug in our bed, full of blood when squished. That is beyond unacceptable. This hotel has gone completely downhill, and we will not be returning unless major changes are made.

Once you’re locked in, you feel safer. But they share a wall with the community food bank. So for 2 city blocks in all direction homeless are strewn about and you have to negotiate through them to walk to the hotel. There’s no parking for checking in, I had to park down the street and walk through a gauntlet of unsafe feeling individuals. Hotel could have been 10 of 10 and I would still never return.

The good; Room was beautiful, shower was lovely, good amenities in the room. I prefer a softer bed, and I found the bed to be extremely comfortable. My son enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Starbucks is in the same building. Several very good restaurants located directly across the street including a brewery. There is a somewhat secure parkade across the street for hotel guests. The bad; Unfortunately did not feel entirely safe on the street at night. Even when we arrived to the hotel to check in, we had to sit in the car and wait for the very agitated, clearly intoxicated gentleman to finish his rant and move along, before we felt safe to get out of the car. There seems to be a very large homeless population living only a few blocks away. Which is often the case in many large cities. This of course is of no fault of the hotel, just something that you will likely encounter while staying here. Overall the hotel is beautiful, just unfortunately not in the best area of town. That being said, If you needed to stay downtown Prince George, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room itself was nice—clean and comfortable. However, the experience was significantly marred by the rest of the hotel and its surroundings. I stayed on the 6th floor. The hallways were dark and frankly, quite outdated and scary to walk through, which created a very unsettling atmosphere, especially at night. Furthermore, the hotel parkade is across the street. The overall area around the hotel felt sketchy, which made me hesitant to walk outside or arrive/leave after dark. I'd recommend this hotel only if you plan only using the room.

The location of the property was nice. We were a little concerned at first about parking. There was A LOT of homeless and otherwise sketchy people in the area. We were approached by pan handlers immediately on the street in front of the property. The hotel had secured parking next door luckily so our vehicle was safe. Hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. Very close to shopping and restaurants.

This was our second stay as we passed through town. Convenient location. Friendly desk staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Could use stronger lights in room and bathroom. Hard to read and put on makeup. Hallway carpet really needs stretching. Sorry to see microbrewery next door burnt down. Would definitely not recommend Black clover pub down the street. Terrible food and terrible service.
