Room smelled bad. Sauna was dirty, smelled bad and had no lights in it. Front desk staff was not attentive and hard to communicate with. Pancake machine was the only hot food option but didn't seem to work most of the time. No towels in pool area. Tiny TV's, limited channels. Waterslide area under construction and being removed to build a "hall". Hot tubs not working. All in all not recommended - this used to be on of the best hotels in PG, now far from it.

No elevator. Listening to children screaming in the pool until 9pm. Pool should close down by 8pm as all guest rooms face the pool and no one can relax or even enjoy the fountains in the atrium. Air conditioning not working properly. They had no other room to move us to and did not offer us any type of compensation. Restaurant inhouse was Indian food only.

The hot tub was boarded up, the steam room didn't work, and the pool wasn't heated despite being an indoor pool. Room was fine, pretty standard, but the overall property doesn't seem to be looked after at all.

The hotel is loud, sounds echos through the hallways, it’s fine if people are respectful of others. No towels by the pool; had to ask for more, it took quite a while for someone to bring towels and when they did they only brought about 6 which wasn’t enough as the pool is very busy! The continental breakfast is basic: 2 types of cereal, fruit cups, yogurt, toast, muffins, pancakes, juice and coffee. The coffee machine is slow and creates quite a long lineup and the pancake machine seems to malfunction often. There are no elevators, but it only has 2 floors. Parking is limited and has multiple vehicles in the parking lot with smashed out windows and flat tires.

Great value, and friendly staff that solved issues that popped up. The staff was very accomodating. Location is very solid, with many buses close to the hotel. Many options for car share, and even local taxi, so transportation wasnt an issue. There are many fast food restaurants nearby, a dollarama for snacks and a saveonfoods for any groceries you would want. For the value, I have no complaints. However, there are some things I do wish were better. The TVs work well but are a bit dated. I wouldnt trust the pool either, not with all the kids going in there. But personally for me, the most disappointing aspect was the fitness facilities in which many of the equipment were broken or barely working. I hope the super 8 would divert funds away from the free breakfast and instead fix the tv and fitness areas. Some new treadmills and working fans would have been great. I do understand that most visitors dont use the gym (sadly), so that maybe why the gym is so bad.

It’s a good hotel with a lot of amenities (pools, a small gym, a breakfast option, etc ) but cleanliness could be slightly better around, for example, I saw trash bags in the stairwell. The breakfast is a bit underwhelming but typical for that type of budget range. Yet what it lacks in quality overall, it makes up for price. To conclude, I would give a 3.75/5.

Checked in, police behind front desk. Didnt have a shower curtain on my "upgraded" room. Asked twice never got one. Came into room for housekeeping however said it needes to be requested they wouldnt come in otherwise so that was odd. Hot tubs are boarded over. Window to outside didnt really lock. AC barely worked. Ice machine was filthy ice has black spots in them. Area was sketchy and unsafe. Parking lot always had questionable people milling around. Not a good stay.

Very dirty.. the bathroom was awful, as was the table and floors.. The worst part was the morning we were checking out. I was looking under the bed to make sure we didn’t forget anything and there was a large blood spot on the edge of the fitted sheet that had been previously tucked under the mattress. Just disgusting. Never again.

It was passable. The hallway carpets are all heavily stained throughout. The morning “ continental” breakfast that’s included was really disappointing. Small stake muffins, bread and cereal juice and coffee was all that was offered. It’s a different style setup with all the tropical plants which was nice. Not much you can do about the noise though. Any noise is amplified by the indoor echoing. We wished that the cleaning staff were a little quieter in closing the doors for vacant rooms early in the morning. Slamming them Closed at 7am onwards was deafening. Sorry to say but we won’t be staying there again.

The bed was comfortable and clean. The floors were very dirty. My wife accidentally spilled a few drops of water on the floor and wiped it with a paper towel and it came away as dirty, as if we had wiped the parking lot. The bathtub appeared quite dirty and stained. I was walking out of the front door, and 2 hotel employees walked out ahead of me and let the door close in my face, not very courteous.

There appeared to only be one person working, therefore check-in took a long time. The room was not clean. It smelt weird, the floors were dirty and there was hair in the bed. There was no tv remote, and there was no lamp, or place to charge your device. Also only one night stand which is very inconvenient. The parking lot was half full of vehicles with no license plates on them. This hotel seems to be getting worse everytime we stay there. Definitely going to have to find a new go to hotel.

No hot water at night when we checked in. In the morning it was lukewarm at best. Our room did not have hand towels or face cloths, nor blankets. All of these things we had to ask for. They provided blankets but said they ran out of hand towels and face cloths. Couldn’t control the air conditioning. Breakfast spread was extremely limited and gross. On top of this my friend’s bike got stolen off of her car (locked)! The hotel is obviously not responsible for stolen items from vehicles, but it’s worth mentioning that the parking lot was absolutely chaotic, jam packed and just sketchy. I don’t usually complain about hotels but this was by far the most disappointing place I’ve stayed at. Everything was unclean, sloppy and staff were rude.

We had MICE in our room!!!! Not to mention all the trip hazards trying to walk over laid out tiles and carpet from Reno’s they were doing. Unsafe! My visually impaired daughter almost tripped several times trying to navigate the items that were left on the floor! Then I am sitting in the room ordering food when I look down and see a mouse looking at me from behind the bed! Called front desk to ask for a new room and she asked if we used the room at all?? WHY DOES THAT MATTER!? We were in it for 30min when we find a mouse! We got changed to a new room after only a “sorry about that.” And the new room was in horrible condition. Noisy, dirty, needs Reno’s! The restaurant on site however was AMAZING! This is the place for Indian food! Yum-eee!!!

Friendly staff and rooms are dated but clean. But, very noisy! Not because people were partying or anything like that. Walls are paper thin and all sounds echo through the large common area. Asked for ear plugs at the front desk and they didn't have any. Breakfast doesn't have any sort of protein either. No hard-boiled eggs. Just very sweet and surgery options.

The room was really small and outdated. Whomever did the tile work in the bathroom must have been a first year apprentice. Also, the humidity was high and the room had no AC. Would not stay there again.

Was a great place. Only complaint is that room had no windows/doors to outside and no A/C. Only a broken old fan that kept falling over. Room was SO hot even tho it was winter.

The check-in process is always brutal. Front desk is very slow. This time I was sent a text message early check-in and I checked in on-line. Scanned my Driver's License and gave credit card # for damage deposit. When I arrived at the hotel, after waiting 20 minutes because of line up, was asked for the exact same info. I told the desk that I had already entered that info into the on-line portal the day before. They looked at their screen and said, "oh yeah, right" and then handed me the key to my room. If they have created a system for convenient early check-in, use the system. They gave me the wrong room key which I had to go back to the desk to exchange, and stand in line again.

The front desk staff were very friendly and nice. This was the only good experience. I had no toilet paper or bags in the garbages when I checked in. I called to get some and it was another hour before I got them so I borrowed toilet paper from another room. There’s a sign on the desk that says there will be no housekeeping unless you request it. This works for me! But the first day I left my room I shut off all my lights. When I got back they were all on. I checked and fresh towels had been hung up but the old towels were still there too. There was no “do not disturb” sign in the room or else I would have used it, but because of the front desk sign I assumed I didn’t need to. At 8am the next morning a staff member just walked into my room. I was still in bed and he scared the hell out of me. He just said “sorry! Sorry!” And then shut the door. I was told he was housekeeping but who just walks in without knocking or anything first?! That was very uncomfortable. There were filthy couches in the common areas that weren’t cleaned during our entire stay (4days). One very poor set had black slip covers. They were covered in large crumbs and one had a big dusty print on it. They still looked like that when we left. The communal garbage can near my room was full when I got there. By time I left, a ton of garbage was piled up beside it on the floor. The kicker? A pile of dog poo near my room. It was still there the next day and someone stepped in it, smearing it down the hall

There were people wandering the lot scoping vehicles and guests just outside our room at 12:30 am making so much noise. On site security guard was aware and did nothing even when we complained. Front desk staff couldn’t careless when we complained.

Absolute terrible service at check in. Gave my ID and credit card. She threw it back and said she didn't need it. So rude making me pay for one room at a time but couldn't figure out the change I needed so threw the money back and made me give her exact change. Coming through the lobby 2 hours later and someone is having trouble checking in and I hear my name, so I stop to see. This lady checked me in under someone else's name and reservation making security deposits on their card and took my cash. Then I look and she also put 124.40 on my card. Absolutely awful service at the front desk.

Was not good experience took deposit out of my account twice when supposed to return it when I checked out lady said guy was new that’s why nd he didn’t know how to return my deposit now I’m out the two deposits until they return my money from my credit card this scares me I’m glad I checked my account I should be getting my money back right away when checking out but that wasn’t the case if they can take it out that quick and supposedly return it automatically in the morning upon check out why can’t I get the money they took out twice right away?? I need this money back for my rent

The staff at the front desk were very rude, especially the men. We walked by several times a day and no one ever even said hi. They watched me struggle carrying in mine and my disabled mothers baggage and didn't offer to help at all. Also the area is very unsafe. Our cooler got stolen from our truck. It was under surveillance cameras and we told the front desk but they didn't do a thing about it.

The only thing I disliked was the smokers and all the cigarette butts right where you have to park out front while checking in. Walking to a nearby restaurant we had to walk through several smokers and over the littered ground of butts. Perhaps an ashtray would be a good addition there ?

Room was clean. But it doesn’t have your setting for the temperature on each room. Air conditioning was cranked. It was absolutely freezing in the room. When I asked about it, she said she would turn it down a few degrees. But it wasn’t enough. I asked again. And it still wasn’t enough. Not sure if she even did anything. Also this hotel is a rough neighborhood of the city. And only has one entrance/exit to use so very inconvenient when your room is on the other side of the building.

1. Healthy option breakfast wasn’t available 2. Dirty and smelly stairs as well as rug carpet 3. Water dispenser not available 4. Heavy sounds and noises from tilers working right by my door made sleep impossible . 5. The restaurant menu was typical of Indian cuisine effectively shutting out customers like me of diverse ethnic backgrounds. 6. I won’t recommend this facility to friends or family. Hopefully they raise the bar in services and standards soon. Thank you.

Pancake machine on the fritz, toaster took forever and dried out the bread, only strawberry jam as a choice, only strawberry or vanilla yogurt as choices, No fresh fruit, only fruit cups. No bagels or English muffins--bread. That was it. Been inn other Super 8's with much better breakfasts.

Its a typical Motel 8 with the breakfast being coffee maker, toaster, fridge with yogurt. Gone are the breakfast buffets I was looking forward to. Will be probably back, because it is still one of the more budget friendly hotels.

The on site restaurant had excellent food but the staff was extremely slow and forgetful i would not recommend it at all !
